Chapter 352: Getting into Trouble
With the sound of a whistle, the double surfing competition officially began.
Chi Wenyan and Ji Wan smiled at each other, then stepped into the blue sea together, heading towards the surging waves in the distance.
On the shore, He Wanqing stood aside with a dark face, her eyes full of jealousy and anger.
The waves rolled and the sea surface sparkled under the sunlight.
Ji Wan and Chi Wenyan stood on the surfboard, coordinating each other's movements tacitly and maintaining perfect balance in the stormy waves.
At the same time, Fu Qichuan and Sheng Yanjing on the shore looked solemn and talked in low voices.
"Hua Junyi was sent to the hospital. I heard he was seriously injured down there." Sheng Yanjing lowered his voice and said, "Do you think Ji Wan did it?"

She raised her phone, took several photos, then quickly edited a text message, attached the photos and sent it to Chi Lin.
"Brother Lin, look at the intimate behavior between your good wife and Wen Yan. It seems that their relationship is not ordinary." After sending the message, He Wanqing showed a sneer at the corner of his mouth.
She wanted to see if Chi Lin would remain indifferent after seeing these photos.
As the competition was coming to an end, Ji Wan and Chi Wenyan's surfboards lost balance slightly in the last big wave. They returned to the shore a few seconds earlier than the other pair of players and won second place.
"We almost won." Ji Wan said excitedly, completely forgetting the previous unhappiness.
Chi Wenyan handed her a towel and said, "It will be better next time."
Ji Wan was stunned for a moment, "There will be a next time?"
Chi Wenyan didn't answer, but just raised the corner of his mouth slightly, turned and walked towards the waiting area. Ji Wan looked at his back, and a warm feeling welled up in his heart.
At the award ceremony, Ye Yang personally presented the prizes to the winners. When it was Ji Wan and Chi Wenyan's turn, Ye Yang held Ji Wan's hand and looked at her with a sharp gaze.

Ji Wan nodded politely, "Thank you, Mr. Ye."
"By the way," Ye Yang suddenly asked, "Where is Hua Junyi? I haven't seen him."
Ji Wan's body froze instantly, the excitement he had just felt faded away, and a chill rose from his spine.
Only then did she remember that she had tied Hua Junyi up in the toilet.
"I, I'm not sure," Ji Wan said, trying to remain calm. "We didn't come here together."
Ye Yang nodded thoughtfully and did not ask any further questions.
After the award ceremony, Ji Wan used the excuse of going to the restroom as an excuse and hurried to the scene of the incident.
However, a cordon had been set up outside the bathroom and several staff members were cleaning up the scene.
"What happened?" Ji Wan asked a security guard pretending to be ignorant.
"Someone was attacked in the restroom," the security guard replied. "He was kicked in the groin and has been taken to the hospital."
"Is the injury serious?" Ji Wan's voice trembled slightly.
"I heard it's very serious. The doctor said the egg might break and he might be infertile for life." The security guard shook his head. "Poor guy, I don't know who he offended."
Ji Wan felt dizzy. She just wanted to teach Hua Junyi a lesson, but she didn't expect to kick him like this.
What's even more terrifying is that Hua Junyi is the only son of the Hua family. If he really is infertile for life, the Hua family will never let her go.
At this moment, she was frightened and nervous.
"Are you okay?" Chi Wenyan appeared behind her at some point, his voice low.
Ji Wan turned around abruptly, his face pale, "No, nothing."
Chi Wenyan looked at her deeply and said, "Let's go back to the hotel and rest."
Ji Wan nodded and followed Chi Wenyan out of the scene, feeling uneasy.
Back in the hotel room, Ji Wan sat on the edge of the bed, his mind in a mess.
She recalled what happened. Hua Junyi suddenly touched her in the bathroom. She instinctively fought back and kicked him hard in the lower body.
Then, while he was on the ground, he was tied up with a towel.
But it actually caused such serious consequences?
"What should I do?" Ji Wan muttered to himself, full of regret. "If the Hua family pursues this, I won't be able to explain myself at all."
Just as she was in a panic, her phone suddenly rang. Ji Wan glanced at the screen and saw that it was Chi Lin calling.
She hesitated for a moment, but still answered the phone.
"Where are you?" Chi Lin's voice was bone-chillingly cold.
"At the beach, participating in an event." Ji Wan tried to remain calm.
"Very good, it seems you and Chi Wenyan had a lot of fun." Chi Lin's anger almost burned through the phone, "Explain why you and him wore matching outfits and hugged each other in public?"
Ji Wan was stunned. "What couple's outfit? That's a surfing competition, and we're partners."
"Partners?" Chi Lin sneered, "When did your relationship become so good? Or have you been hooking up for a long time?"
Ji Wan heard the threat in Chi Lin's words and felt even more uneasy.
She knew that He Wanqing must have taken photos and sent them to Chi Lin, deliberately trying to sow discord.
There is no one else but her.
"Chi Lin, I don't know what you saw, but it was just an ordinary game." Ji Wan tried to explain, "My original partner had a temporary problem, and Chi Wenyan was just helping out."
"Help?" Chi Lin's voice suddenly became dangerous. "Hua Junyi was your former partner, right? Do you know where he is now?"
Ji Wan's heart sank. Could it be that Chi Lin already knew about Hua Junyi?
