Chapter 49 Aren't the bells dirty? They're sweet.
The study was quiet for a moment, then the man broke the silence with a soft chuckle.
Liang Minghe was seen as a flirtatious womanizer, almost entirely because of his captivating, alluring eyes that seemed to look at everyone with deep affection and flirtatiousness, especially when he smiled and stared at people, which was particularly seductive.
He placed his hands on Zhou Jinqin's waist and pulled her closer to him, so that their two hot bodies were almost pressed together, and they could no longer tell whose heartbeat was coming from.
He tilted his head back to kiss Zhou Jinqin's pointed chin, which resembled a white lotus petal, and asked her with a smile, "Hmm? Of course, when would you like to?"
The man's rising tone, accompanied by his hot, moist breath, tingled against my skin, making me feel inexplicably shy.
Zhou Jinqin blushed, pushed him away, and hurriedly jumped off his lap. With her back turned, she stammered, "Anyway, not now..."
"Ahem..." She forced a change of topic, "Well, I'm going to eat now, otherwise my takeout will get cold."
"Okay, go ahead." Liang Ming stared intently at her retreating figure. "I'm going to take a shower at X."
He pronounced the word "shower" very softly, but it was hard not to think that he was a voice actor showing off, giving the meaning a strangely ambiguous connotation.
Zhou Jinqin coughed lightly, covering her mouth, then turned her head and asked him, trying to appear calm, "What do you want to eat? I'll make it for you."
Liang Minghe stood up and kissed her cheek: "No need to trouble yourself, I'll just eat what you leave behind."
Worried that Zhou Jinqin wouldn't eat enough, he specially ordered a few extra dishes when he placed the order today, knowing that Zhou Jinqin's appetite would likely leave a lot uneaten.
"You haven't eaten all day, just some vegetables. How can you still have the energy?" she asked worriedly.
Liang Minghe raised an eyebrow at her: "You need to take at least three breaths to adjust your breathing after each kiss. Compared to me, shouldn't you be the one worrying about your stamina?"
He pinched her chin and looked her up and down: "Darling, remember to eat more later."
Whether it's black or white, everything that falls into Liang Minghe's mouth will come out yellow. What a waste of worry...
Zhou Jinqin glared at him angrily, while Liang Minghe laughed and ruffled her slightly frizzy hair again. As his hand came down, he casually put his arm around her and led her outside, saying, "Alright, didn't you say the food was going to get cold?"
"It's not like I can't cook, don't order takeout next time."
"Yeah, I'm just worried you'll get upset and go hungry."
"So who's sulking? And who's starving?"
The two joked with each other as they walked toward the door. Before they could even open the study door, Tuantuan burst in through the small door that had been specially opened for it underneath. The kitten had a clear goal; it came in and immediately lay down at Liang Ming's feet, acting all cute, as if nothing had happened, as if it wasn't the one who had hit its dad yesterday.
Zhou Jinqin said with a hint of jealousy, "Why does it still seem to stick to you more?"
Liang Minghe chuckled: "It's clearly hungry."
To strictly control Tuan Tuan's weight loss plan, Liang Minghe deliberately hid the cat food in the study to prevent the kitten from stealing it.
But after only a few days, he couldn't resist calling Kong Feifei's carpenter to carve a small door for his study, so that Tuantuan could freely come and go and accompany him while he worked. It's hard to say who will be clinging to whom.
Liang Minghe picked Tuantuan up and faced her, saying helplessly, "Don't be jealous. You know, it firmly chose you over me."
Zhou Jinqin patted the cat's head and chuckled, "Judging from your tone, it sounds like you're the one who's jealous?"
"I am a little jealous, but because it's you, I don't feel jealous at all." Liang Minghe deliberately pointed to Jia Yang. "Just like how I'm jealous of your male colleague, it's really unnecessary. After all, I know that your hearts and minds won't have room for those unimportant people."
As he spoke, he turned the kitten around so it was facing him, reached out and tapped its wet nose, saying, "Choosing Mom over Dad is the right thing to do, but if it's between Dad and someone else, you have to choose Dad, understand?"
Childish, envious, and a bit of a spoiled brat, Zhou Jinqin always agrees with Liang Zongqiang's words; Liang Minghe is indeed incredibly adorable.
Although the portions were large, the dishes were too vegetarian, which was a bit of a struggle for someone who couldn't live without meat. So, while Liang Minghe was taking a shower, Zhou Jinqin cooked him a relatively meaty dish of scrambled eggs with tomatoes. He must have been really hungry, because when Zhou Jinqin came out of the bathroom, Liang Minghe had eaten all the food, and there was hardly any food waste in the kitchen trash can.
As if tacitly agreeing that something might happen tonight, Zhou Jinqin stayed in the bathroom for an unusually long time, so long that Liang Minghe knocked on the door once to ask if she had fainted.
Taking a shower didn't seem to relieve her tension. Zhou Jinqin walked hesitantly toward the living room, her heart pounding as if she'd been electrocuted.
Liang Minghe, on the other hand, seemed much more at ease. He was sitting casually on the carpet unpacking a package, holding a lanyard and trying to hang it around Tuantuan's neck. However, he tried various methods but failed, simply because Tuantuan was a super fat cat, so failure was inevitable.
He suddenly turned to look at Zhou Jinqin, smiled, and asked, "Would you like to give it a try?"
"Me?" Zhou Jinqin pointed to herself in surprise. "Even the cat can't wear it, how could I?"
Liang Minghe smiled but said nothing, only beckoning to her: "Come here."
As soon as Zhou Jinqin stood beside him, he grabbed her ankle and quickly placed a cool pendant on her skin, which was still damp from the bathroom. When Zhou Jinqin looked closely, she saw that it was a pure gold bell strung with gold thread, which jingled incessantly whenever she moved.
Her face instantly turned bright red, and she asked shyly, "What are you doing?"
"Isn't it pretty?" Liang Minghe looked up and asked her innocently.
He must have just washed up, as there were still glistening water droplets on his face, which added to his innocent and naive boyish charm.
Zhou Jinqin admitted with shame, "It looks good, but how am I supposed to walk now..."
Liang Minghe's hand was rubbing his ankle, seemingly casually, as he asked in a teasing tone, "Afraid someone will hear?"
“Hmm…” Zhou Jinqin looked away from him and responded very softly.
"It's okay, I'll be your legs today." Liang Minghe suddenly stood up, picked her up by the waist, and carried her towards the bedroom.
Tuantuan wanted to go too, but was ruthlessly stopped.
"Alright, little kitten, how about you sleep outside by yourself tonight?" Liang Ming promised the innocent kitten, "I'll open a can of milk for you tomorrow."
Tuan Tuan meowed and flew away.
Liang Ming gently placed the woman in his arms in the center of the bed. He leaned over her, supporting himself on top of her, and asked, "Now? Are you still willing?"
"Hmm..." Zhou Jinqin's eyelashes fluttered slightly, she didn't dare to look at him, and her weak reply seemed to be squeezed out of her throat.
Liang Minghe chuckled softly. He lowered his body, sharing some of his weight with her, and then their lips met. Just as Zhou Jinqin had requested, he kissed her with restraint and tenderness, making her feel as comfortable and at ease as if she were lying on a cloud.
Liang Minghe was a passionate man; his kisses didn't just stay on the lips, but left marks everywhere.
In her daze, Zhou Jinqin wondered how he could be so tireless. Wasn't he thirsty? Even though she had a free moment to speak, she was still incredibly thirsty.
She thought this way, and that's how she asked the question.
Liang Minghe raised his head from the ravine, his eyes sparkling, as did the tip of his nose and lips.
He spoke with a smile, his voice hoarse: "I'm not thirsty, would you like to try some?"
Although he was asking a question, he didn't seem to give Zhou Jinqin a chance to answer. The moment he finished speaking, he brought his lips to hers.
The slightly salty taste made Zhou Jinqin very embarrassed: "Why...why..."
"Isn't it dirty?" she muttered for a long time, covering her face, before finally uttering a short sentence.
Liang Minghe slightly raised himself up, pried her hands away from her face, and whispered in her ear, "It's sweet."
He tore open the plastic, touched her thigh, and asked, "And then, is that okay?"
Zhou Jinqin didn't answer, tacitly agreeing.
In the quiet night, Zhou Jinqin sobbed. Liang Minghe stopped what he was doing and hugged her tighter: "Does it hurt?"
She nodded, her teary eyes making her all the more endearing.
Although Liang Minghe found it unbearable, he still resolutely got up to leave: "Then let's stop here for today, and later..."
Before he could finish speaking, the woman in his arms suddenly pulled him back. Her wet face was pressed against his neck, and she shook her head, saying no.
The swaying night boat finally set off.
The room was filled with a jumble of sounds, including heavy breathing, delicate moans, irregular patting, and... the jingling of bells that made one blush.
This was a performance by a two-person band. Zhou Jinqin was the musician, and Liang Minghe was the conductor. Liang Minghe had complete control over when the bells rang, how long they rang, and how loud they rang. This made Zhou Jinqin, who had lost power and become passive, feel very embarrassed.
She often felt ashamed and wanted to stop the performance, which had no audience, but the conductor said he was her most loyal audience member and encouraged her with a smile to see it through.
Absolutely awful...
Sometimes one can't help but marvel at the vast differences in human anatomy. Under the same emotional pull, women are always as soft as water, while men are as hard as steel.
The amazing thing is that softness can always overcome hardness.
After Zhou Jinqin cried and begged for mercy, perhaps for the third time, Liang Minghe, out of pity, finally reluctantly let her go.
"Want to take a shower?" Liang Minghe kissed her ear. "I'll carry you there."
Zhou Jinqin, who was about to close her eyes, suddenly opened them wide. In that frank atmosphere, it was hard not to be entangled again. She wrapped herself in a blanket, endured the soreness, and climbed out of bed, saying in a hoarse voice, "No, I can go by myself."
Another series of clear, ringing bells rang out, especially piercing in the quiet night.
Even though Zhou Jinqin herself was in control of the bell's music, it didn't calm her down. It was as if the melodious bell sound was mixed with her earlier whimpering and pleading, making her feel even more ashamed and embarrassed for no reason.
She crouched down, removed the bell from her foot, blushed, threw it into the arms of the beaming man, and ran away without looking back.
The night was finally peaceful. Zhou Jinqin was exhausted. Unlike the mental exhaustion she had experienced before, tonight was a pure physical indulgence. Exhausted, she had no time to think too much and slept soundly.
When Zhou Jinqin woke up, it was already bright daylight, and the alarm clock had long since gone off, but she was completely unaware.
She lay in bed in a daze for a while before suddenly realizing, oh no, she's going to be late!
"Don't worry, baby, you won't be late." Liang Minghe pushed open the door and entered, accurately guessing her thoughts. "I'll drive you there later."
Zhou Jinqin used to avoid troubling him and usually wouldn't let him deliver things, but now she really had no choice.
She rubbed her sore thighs, blushing and complaining, "It's all your fault for not knowing your limits. You're not allowed to do this on weekdays anymore."
"No, how can you bear to see me in so much pain?" Liang Minghe shamelessly hugged her.
The only thing that didn't match Liang Minghe was his age, which was almost thirty. Zhou Jinqin couldn't understand how he could have such good stamina. Wasn't it said that men over twenty-five were comparable to sixty-year-olds...?
She glared at him, and Liang Ming pinched her puffed-up cheek, smiling as he said, "You can skip the workdays this week, but not in the future. Five days is such a long time. If you have to work overtime or take time off in lieu, will I have to rely on myself during this period, baby?"
Instead of spouting hurtful and destructive words, Zhou Jinqin tried to avoid the evil curses, knowing that those who had tasted something new would find it hard to go back to their old ways. So she sighed and compromised: "We'll discuss it later."
Liang Minghe nodded with a smile: "Don't worry, I will restrain myself."
"How can I control myself?" Zhou Jinqin asked him.
He shamelessly declared, "Let's move the bedtime forward."
