Go see the stars (Part 2)

Go see the stars (Part 2)

A dreamlike blue landscape, interwoven with a gentle melody, immersed her in it.

Jiang Yichun couldn't help but close her eyes, as the person in front of her grew further and further away.

The singing in my ears was gradually swallowed up by the pattering rain.

Her hand was suddenly grabbed.

Those hands were burning hot and covered in a fine sheen of sweat.

She looked down and saw those familiar, well-defined hands tightly clenching her own.

"Koharu."

Amidst the drizzling rain, a familiar, tall figure appeared before her.

He Yinxin was soaked to the bone, and he had taken off his glasses at some point.

An umbrella was opened over her head, shielding her from the raging wind and rain.

The familiar scent of kapok blossoms, along with the aroma of fresh grass, lingered around her nose.

The familiar melody started playing again in her headphones, a gentle female voice singing softly:

"Holding a warm, damp hand amidst the crowded throng."

"Xiaochun, I've found you."

His eyes gleamed in the darkness of the night.

Jiang Yichun raised the corners of his mouth, gave a soft "hmm," and stepped under the umbrella.

"I've found you too."

Despite the surging crowds and torrential rain, the couple held hands, stepping through the puddles, their heartbeats gradually drowning out the pattering rain around them.

My vision was blurry, but I could feel the warmth in my palm.

They could see their own flushed cheeks reflected in each other's eyes.

Jiang Yichun pressed close to his chest, his hot breath exploding in his ear:

"Old He, let's go home."

Jiang Yichun didn't know how he got back to his building.

All that is known is that the two of them did not say a word the whole way, but just listened quietly to the music playing on the radio in the car.

As soon as she engaged the handbrake, turned off the engine, and removed the key, he covered her completely.

The kisses came over him, carrying with them the damp scent of his body.

In a daze, she thought of the blue coat she had hidden in the closet.

Her cheeks grew increasingly hot as she tilted her chin up in response to his kiss.

The car gradually filled with mist, and raindrops rolled on the windows, making a pattering sound.

The two were entangled together, as if entrusting their souls to each other.

They embraced and kissed, the rain like waves enveloping them, propelling them upstairs.

Jiang Yichun was practically carried upstairs by He Yinxin.

"Click".

She opened the door as he did so, her hand still on his shoulder, responding to his kiss in a half-hearted manner.

Until the cold white lights in the living room came on, until the two of them touched each other's damp skin.

Jiang Yichun released He Yinxin, panting heavily: "Old He, let's... let's go take a shower first."

He Yinxin looked down at her, his chest rising and falling, and nodded silently.

Jiang Yichun bit her lip and stepped forward, her eyes fixed on him.

He Yinxin's Adam's apple bobbed, and without saying a word, he took her wrist and pulled her into the bathroom as well.

Thick steam rose from the bathroom, forming a thin layer of water droplets on the mirror.

Jiang Yichun let the hot water hit her body and let those hands roam over her skin.

She looked at the mirror, and it seemed as if her student self was standing on the other side.

She stood curiously in the mirror, examining herself and the man behind her, while he simply gazed at her calmly.

She had a youthful figure and short hair. She observed her body in front of the mirror, pinching the extra flesh on her waist.

At that time, besides studying hard, all she could think about was following celebrities, eating delicious food, and worrying about gaining weight.

She asked, "Why did I become like this?"

And I can tell her, "That's proof that you've grown up."

She asked, "Have you become the adult you wanted to be? Have you found happiness?"

I can answer myself: "Perhaps, but happiness cannot last forever, but there is always the possibility of obtaining it in every moment."

She asked, "Have you proven it? To those people who hate you?"

He answered himself, "I haven't needed it for a long time."

"I just want to live my own life well."

The sound of rushing water drowned out any other subtle noises in the bathroom.

As the steam in the bathroom gradually dissipated, only she and the tall figure behind her remained in the mirror.

The two kissed as they changed each other into pajamas and walked out of the bathroom.

Jiang Yichun went to the kitchen, poured hot water into a paper cup, took a sip, and then handed it to He Yinxin: "Here, Lao He, have some."

"We just got caught in the rain, we'll catch a cold if we don't warm up."

He Yinxin didn't say anything, but walked behind her and gently embraced her from behind, his lips lingering on her neck.

He Yinxin's body temperature was always a little higher than hers, and Jiang Yichun felt as if she were being entangled in a walking furnace.

"He Yinxin! What are you doing!"

Her legs went weak, and she turned around and put down the paper cup in her hand.

"Do you want me to kiss you again?" she asked angrily, turning around and grabbing his wrist.

"This time I'm going to kiss you forcefully."

Before she could react, He Yinxin's lips gently covered hers, and his arms once again pulled her into his embrace.

He smelled strongly of her favorite shower gel, which made her feel dizzy and lightheaded.

His hands trembled as he fiddled with her hair.

The two of them staggered and swayed as they made their way towards Jiang Yichun's room.

She grabbed his wrist and shoved the paper cup into his hand: "So, do you still want some water, Lao He?"

"This glass of water is cold."

"It's just a drink, Xiaochun, don't rush."

"I will do everything I promised you."

There were no small stools in Jiang Yichun's room, so He Yinxin could only kneel on the ground.

He slowly squatted down, and Jiang Yichun also plopped down on the edge of his bed.

He Yinxin picked up the paper cup and took a small sip.

The cooled boiled water in the paper cup swayed gently, creating ripples.

Jiang Yichun tilted his head back, took a sip of hot water, looked up at the ceiling, and listened to the swaying of the water in the paper cup.

She covered her lips with the back of her hand, feeling the hot water she had just drunk flowing through her veins until the warmth spread throughout her body.

She let out a soft sigh, her body relaxed, and fine sweat from the hot water seeped from her skin.

Jiang Yichun lowered his hand and gently rubbed his earlobe, a slight smile playing on his lips.

“I’ve finished drinking, thank you… for the treat, baby.” He Yinxin looked up at her, their hands intertwined, and casually placed the paper cup on the table to the side.

"How is it? Does it quench your thirst?" Jiang Yichun chuckled as he looked at his wet lips.

He Yinxin's ears turned bright red. He nodded, hugged her, and lowered his head to kiss her lips.

Once the floodgates of kissing are opened, the two are drawn to each other like magnets.

Jiang Yichun always craved his lips, soft and fleshy.

"Xiaochun, my mouth is full of your taste, it's so sweet." He Yinxin would always say some soft and flirtatious words between kisses.

"Um...don't say anymore." Jiang Yichun pinched his arm shyly.

He Yinxin released her with a wince of pain, but a smile remained on his face. He looked up at the night rain outside the window and said, "This rain has been going on for a long time."

Jiang Yichun walked to the window and looked at the rain that was falling incessantly outside.

He Yinxin stood behind her, his fingertips gently slipping between her fingers.

The two looked up and saw the rain curtain outside the window shimmering under the cold light.

"Robot dog, keep your voice down, Mom's still next door."

"Yes, I understand."

The remaining cold boiled water on the table stirred up ripples.

The two shadows overlapped and fell onto the poster of the idol Jiang Yichun had been chasing in high school, leaving a shadow, as if adding a black and white filter to that idol.

The paper cup filled with hot water on the table had tipped over at some point, and the water spilled down the table and onto the floor, wetting a corner of the carpet.

As dusk deepened, the torrential rain outside the window continued relentlessly. The town's drainage system was inadequate, and rainwater streamed down the concrete road, carrying tree branches with it.

Dark clouds covered the entire sky, and the sounds of thunder and the collisions of large trucks crashing down on the street mingled and rattled outside the window.

Raindrops pattered against the leaves of the osmanthus tree outside the window, and drops of water slid down the tender green leaves, soaking the bricks on the ground.

The leaves trembled gently in the wind, making a soft rustling sound.

Jiang Yichun's mind was hazy. She didn't know about the future with the boy in front of her. She only knew that the garden in her heart, which had been barren for a long time, had suddenly become full of flowers. She only knew that he was holding her tightly at this moment.

Perhaps it will only last a month, or perhaps they can have a much longer future, but tonight, only he can completely hold her hand and completely enter her heart.

Born in the present moment, it is enough for him to be in my arms.

The future is too far away, so the present moment seems all the more precious.

Good nights are too short to enjoy; only by savoring them can we make the most of them.

The two people inside the room were already lying in bed at some point.

"The rain is so heavy." Jiang Yichun tilted his chin up and looked out the window at the fine rain curtain.

The soreness in my lower back hadn't subsided when a cold draft seeped in through the exposed corner of the blanket.

She shuddered and shrank back into the blankets.

Those warm hands were still resting on her waist.

He Yinxin rested her chin on her shoulder and pulled her into her arms: "Yes, but it's okay, we're very clean now. We won't catch a cold."

"You drank some hot water, so you're fine, baby."

"But it's still a bit...cold."

"It's okay, I'm here. It'll be warmer in a bit."

The water in the paper cup had long since evaporated, and a small red box had somehow appeared on the wet patch on the carpet.

The night rain outside the window continued to fall incessantly, and the mother's room was completely silent, with only the sound of her breathing rising and falling in her small room.

Jiang Yichun's cheeks flushed red as she gently brushed aside He Yinxin's bangs. Her eyes were hazy as she softly called his name: "He Yinxin...doggy."

The boy in front of me was still full of energy. His glasses had been taken off at some point, and his almond-shaped eyes were gleaming.

"Hmm? What's wrong, baby?"

Jiang Yichun bit her lip and whispered softly in his ear, "You really are... a robot dog."

He Yinxin froze on the spot, blinking: "What do you mean?"

"Tsk." Jiang Yichun couldn't help but roll his eyes. "What kind of robot dog are you? Are you made of wood?"

He Yinxin shook her head and hugged her tighter: "I understand, it's just that... you always like to talk like that."

Jiang Yichun didn't break free from his embrace. She pressed her ear against his, her breath brushing against his ear: "Because I've always loved you."

"Robot dog, I can't guarantee my whole life, but I think that from the moment I was with you, I have been sincere."

"Could you give me a little more time?"

He Yinxin took a deep breath and hugged her even tighter: "Of course, it's fine if you never get a permanent position."

"Whatever, I'm going to sleep now."

Goodnight, robot dog.

Goodnight, Xiaochun.

A wave of exhaustion washed over Jiang Yichun. She chuckled softly and leaned into He Yinxin's arms, falling into a deep sleep.
