Chapter Sixty-Three: Taking an Inch and Wanting a Mile
"A girlfriend's obligations are not limited to this." Chu Zhen didn't tease me any further. After saying that, he drove away. Even though I wasn't looking at him, I could still feel the slight smile on his lips.
The morning rush hour had passed, and Chu Zhen sped along, arriving at the apartment in no time.
Chu Zhen got out of the car and, before I could react, carried me out of the car.

We didn't lie down peacefully in bed until night fell.

"Are you taking such good care of your health now?" Chu Zhen touched my nose.

"Does it hurt?" I touched the wound.
"You really are a little devil." Chu Zhen pinched my nose. "Lin Dang, let's get married!"

"Hmm~" Chu Zhen let go of me, went to the study, and came back a short while later.
Chu Zhen walked up to me, suddenly knelt down on one knee, his upper body bare, barely covered by a towel. He looked rather comical at that moment, and I couldn't help but laugh.
"Be serious, I'm proposing!"
"A proposal?" I was completely dumbfounded. The proposal I dreamed of was far more romantic than this. I was a little disappointed, but my heart was pounding. I was looking forward to Chu Zhen's one-of-a-kind proposal.
"Lin Dang, will you be my wife?" Chu Zhen looked at me with deep affection, but suddenly a ring appeared in his hand.
Faced with all this sudden turn of events, I became sluggish and stood there motionless. Chu Zhen had given me so many surprises and delights, and now, after so many years, we were together again in this way. In the future, I will change these things for you. Give me a chance to take care of you." Chu Zhen spoke very emotionally, and my tears were already overflowing.
