Chapter 2: Being robbed while shopping?

Seeing the village entrance from afar, Jiang Lin stopped the ox cart and asked Su Yuhe to get off.

"Not going in?" Su Yuhe was a little confused.

Jiang Lin had a blank expression on his face. How could he tell her that he had a bad background and that if people saw them walking together it would easily affect her reputation?

Su Yuhe was smart and quickly figured out what the other party was worried about.

She got out of the car obediently, holding the things she bought, and looked at Jiang Lin expectantly: "Jiang Lin, can we meet again next time?"

In the car, Su Yuhe asked him his name, and the other party said his name coldly and never said anything else.

Jiang Lin's face was expressionless as he said to Su Yuhe, "Don't say you know me."

After saying that, he drove away in the ox cart. Su Yuhe pouted. This man was so stubborn.

The educated youth had to cook for themselves, and there was a public kitchen in the educated youth team.

When Su Yuhe came back from shopping, the other educated youth had already finished their meals and gone back to bed, so the kitchen was empty.

This was very convenient for Su Yuhe.

She deftly put the big bones in to make the soup, added water and kneaded the flour, and took out some to make noodles and the rest to make buns.

The meat buns can be kept for one or two days after they are made, but of course her main purpose is not to make them and keep them.

She picked up a kitchen knife and chopped the meat, then added some seasonings and a handful of green onions, which immediately brought out the aroma.

After the filling was mixed and the dough was fermented, she wrapped more than a dozen at once and steamed them.

The soup was almost ready. She pounded her lower back, stretched the noodles, put them in water and boiled them for a few minutes. She put the soup in a bowl, put the cooked noodles in, sprinkled some chopped green onions, and it was the fragrant pork bone soup noodles.

She ate a big bowl of noodle soup by herself and felt very satisfied. She put a bag of meat buns in white linen and went out.

Jiang Lin's ancestors were landlords and had many properties, but they were later confiscated, leaving only a yard for them to live in. It was in a border village, at the foot of a mountain, and there were no other residents except their family.

So it’s easy to find.

There was a high wall blocking the way, but Su Yuhe knew there must be someone inside, so she walked over and knocked on the door.

A hoarse and alert voice came from inside: "Who?"

"Is anyone home? I'm here to look for Jiang Lin." Su Yuhe said, but there was no movement inside. She raised her voice again, "Hello, I'm looking for Jiang Lin."

"He's not in now."

There was only this one reply from inside, and there was no intention of opening the door.

Su Yuhe came for Jiang Lin, and of course she would not leave if she didn't see him, so she simply sat at the door.
