This was the scene Jiang Lin saw when he came back. Su Yuhe was sitting in front of the door, tearing leaves in her hands out of boredom.
There was a small pile of green on the ground. I don’t know how long she had been sitting there.
Jiang Lin's eyes flickered as he walked over: "Why are you here?"
Su Yuhe quickly stood up: "I came to see you, this is..." She put the bag of buns in front of him, but Jiang Lin didn't even look at it, walked straight past her, opened the door and went in.
Su Yuhe stretched out her hand to block the door, trying to squeeze in.
If Jiang Lin had moved a little faster, he would have pinched her hand. He was a little angry: "What on earth do you want to do!"
Su Yuhe smiled and handed the bun over: "This is the bun I made, here you go."
"No need. Take it back!"
"I came here specially to thank you. If it weren't for you today, I would have been hungry for a long time." She began to act pitiful.
Even if they were robbed, the educated youth would not go hungry. Jiang Lin knew that she was pretending to be pitiful. Before he could say anything, he heard someone calling him.
"Is Brother Lin back?" A man came out of the inner room, waving a stick in his hand as he walked out. "Who's outside?"
blind?
Jiang Lin’s mother?
Su Yuhe saw it.
"No one." Jiang Lin lied with his eyes wide open, and walked over quickly to support her. "Mom, what are you doing out here?"
"Why do I hear someone talking?" Ye Yunshu asked suspiciously.
Jiang Lin winked at Su Yuhe, meaning to let her go.
Su Yuhe pretended not to see and walked in directly: "Hello, Auntie, I am Jiang Lin's friend, I came to see Jiang Lin."
When Su Yuhe came over, Ye Yunshu was sleeping, and it was Jiang Lin's grandmother who answered.
It was the first time Ye Yunshu saw a girl come to Jiang Lin's house. She smiled friendly and reached out to touch Su Yuhe: "Brother Lin's friend."
Su Yuhe reached out: "Yes."
Jiang Lin pulled Su Yuhe's hand away and dragged her out the door, his eyes fierce and warning: "Go back! Don't come here again!"
No matter how cruel he pretends to be, Su Yuhe is not afraid of him. If he is really a bad guy, she would not send him back today.
"You're hurting me!" Su Yuhe complained. Jiang Lin suddenly let go of her hand and said firmly, "Go back."
This man is really good at hiding things, so we have to adopt a roundabout policy.
Su Yuhe shouted inside: "Auntie! Jiang Lin wants to send me back, he hits people."
Jiang Lin's eyes were stunned for a moment. When did he hit anyone?
He really spoke without thinking, and his forehead was throbbing!
"Brother Lin, how dare you hit someone!" Ye Yunshu frowned and hurried out. Jiang Lin saw that she was walking too fast and was afraid that she would fall, so he ran over to support her. Before he could say anything, Ye Yunshu's stick came down, "Is this how your mother taught you to hit people?"
She looked towards the door with empty eyes: "Girl, I'm sorry, Brother Lin has been spoiled since he was a child, are you okay?"
Su Yuhe didn't expect him to be beaten, but it was impossible for her to say that she had lied just now, so she could only say embarrassedly: "It's okay, it just hurts a little where I was hit."
Jiang Lin's forehead twitched even more violently, and he glared at Su Yuhe more fiercely. The latter was not afraid at all, and gave him a look that said, "What can you do to me?"
Ye Yunshu touched Su Yuhe's hand and rubbed it twice: "Miss, please stay for dinner."
"Mom!" Jiang Lin called out.
Su Yuhe smiled: "Okay."
Jiang Lin watched with mixed emotions as his own mother brought an ignorant woman home, not knowing what to do.
"Brother Lin, steam white flour buns tonight." Ye Yunshu ordered.
Su Yuhe remembered that she had brought some buns and quickly took them out: "Auntie, I made some buns. I just finished them this afternoon. Let Brother Lin heat them up and you can eat them."
She was also worried that Jiang Lin wouldn't heat up the buns she brought, so she said in a voice only the two of them could hear, "I only like to eat this meat bun, remember to heat it up."
"Why bring anything with you?" Ye Yunshu disagreed.
"Brother Lin helped me a lot today..." Su Yuhe recounted what happened today, then stuffed the bun into Jiang Lin's arms. Afraid that he was not warm, she smiled and took Ye Yunshu's arm.
When she entered the main room, she saw an old lady sitting on the kang, looking at Su Yuhe with her burning eyes.
Su Yuhe was startled when she unexpectedly met her gaze, but then she guessed her identity and smiled friendly: "You are Lin's grandmother, right?"
The old lady snorted: "It was you who knocked on the door this afternoon?"
"It's me." Su Yuhe smiled.
The old lady turned her eyes away and said nothing. Jiang Lin must have followed her example, Su Yuhe muttered to herself.
Ye Yunshu pulled Su Yuhe to sit on the kang. Su Yuhe quickly said, "Auntie, I will find a place to sit. Don't worry about me."
Walking to the kang, Ye Yunshu sniffed: "There's a smell, Mom, did you pee again?"
The old lady didn't say a word. Ye Yunshu followed the wall and touched the folded clothes on the kang. She pulled out a piece of cloth and groped her way towards the old lady.
Su Yuhe frowned and took the cloth from Ye Yunshu: "Auntie, tell me what you want to do and how to do it."
Ye Yunshu pulled the cloth back and patted Su Yuhe's hand: "You are a girl, how can you do this? Just sit over there."
"Get out!" the old lady said while looking at Su Yuhe.
Su Yuhe hesitated: "I can help."
"No need, get out!" The old lady looked at Su Yuhe solemnly.
"Mom, don't be so mean to her," Ye Yunshu said, "This is Lin Ge'er's friend."
The old lady snorted coldly, her attitude clear.
