Chapter 217 Jiang Lin is unhappy: Where did this man come from?

Su Yuhe didn't say anything. After a while, she asked, "How did you fall?"

Jiang Lin sighed slightly. How could he not notice that Su Yuhe was obviously changing the subject?

He knew that he couldn't change Su Yuhe's mind, so he could only put it aside for now and answered her: "After all, I grew up in the mountains, and I am very familiar with that mountain. When I found out they were going to set it on fire, I didn't dare run to the entrance anymore, and ran to another small cave to climb out.

There's a cliff outside, so I don't have much time to think. Compared to being blown away by the explosives, I have a better chance of surviving if I jump down directly."

Su Yuhe's heart tightened again: "You really are..."

Jiang Lin smiled and said, "I'm familiar with that place. Although it's a cliff, it's not very high."

Su Yuhe couldn't help but yawn, and the corners of her eyes were sore but watery.

I'm tired and sleepy due to lack of sleep.

Jiang Lin raised his hand and rubbed her head: "I don't have anything to do now. If you don't want to eat, go to sleep for a while."

He glanced at the bed next to him, it was empty.

The ward was a six-person room. Jiang Lin slept in the innermost bed next to the window, and the new old lady slept in the second bed near the door.

There were three empty beds in the middle.

If no patients come in, it won't have much impact on Su Yuhe lying down.

Su Yuhe didn't lie down. She felt a little embarrassed and felt that her hand smelled. She shook her head and said, "No, let's talk about it later. Do you want to go to the bathroom?"

Jiang Lin said no.

Su Yuhe yawned again, but before Jiang Lin could say anything, someone came in from outside.

Ji Shanfang poked her head in and walked in after seeing Su Yuhe: "Xiao Su."

Su Yuhe was stunned for a moment, then stood up: "Sister-in-law? Why are you here?"

"If Old Xu hadn't stopped me, I would have come last night. With something so big happening, what if a little girl like you couldn't handle it? You call me sister-in-law anyway, so I came to see you." She held up the basket in her hand. "Here's breakfast for you. Haven't you eaten yet?"

Su Yuhe was flattered: "You even brought me breakfast? This is too much trouble for sister-in-law."

Ji Shanfang pretended to be unhappy: "Why are you being so polite to my sister-in-law? Besides, this is the breakfast I made at home. I was afraid you would dislike it because we had eaten it before."

"No." Su Yuhe smiled.

Ji Shanfang looked at Jiang Lin: "Xiao Jiang, are you awake? I heard you can't eat yet, so I didn't bring you anything."

Jiang Lin was already very grateful that Ji Shanfang brought breakfast for Su Yuhe, so how could he have any objection just because he didn't have any?

He smiled: "It's okay, sister-in-law, sit down."

There were not many stools in the room, so Ji Shanfang sat down directly on the hospital bed next to her and asked Su Yuhe to eat quickly.

Jiang Lin also looked at Su Yuhe: "Eat quickly."

"Got it." Su Yuhe took out the lunch box and put it on the bedside table. There were also some peach cakes and fruits in the basket.

She couldn't help but look at Ji Shanfang again: "Sister-in-law, don't bring so many things next time." She felt embarrassed.

Ji Shanfang waved her hands and said with a smile: "Xiao Xu doesn't like to eat, but there's plenty at home, and it doesn't cost much. Oh, and Xiao Xu knows I'm here to see you, and he's been clamoring to come. He still has classes, and I was afraid he'd disturb Xiao Jiang."

Three aluminum lunch boxes, one filled with rice, and the other two filled with chopped green onion eggs and fried pork with green onions.

Even the leftovers are better than what ordinary people eat.

But Su Yuhe felt that it couldn't be leftovers. At most, they were cooked and shared out for her. He said that so that Su Yuhe could eat with peace of mind.

When she heard Ji Shanfang talking about Xiaoxu, a smile appeared on her lips: "If he doesn't have class, he can come if he wants. He won't be able to disturb me."

"That's great! They'll have a holiday in a couple of days, so I'll bring him over."

Su Yuhe finished her meal quickly and took her lunch box to the sink at the end of the corridor to wash it.

When I came back, I happened to meet the doctor coming to check on the ward. Five or six people in white coats walked in.

Su Yuhe came in and saw the leader checking Jiang Lin's wound. The doctor was not Chen Xuming, but he should be the attending physician. There were a few younger ones following behind him.

Ji Shanfang was standing there when she saw Su Yuhe approaching. "She's here to check on Xiao Jiang."

Su Yuhe nodded and said "hmm".

The doctor took a look at the wound and said to the young doctors behind him, "For this type of abdominal surgery, no matter how large the wound is, it must be disinfected promptly. This must not be missed during rounds. The patient's wound is currently in good condition."

Some young doctors took out notebooks to write and draw, nodding repeatedly.

The doctor frowned. "What to write? Listen and watch more, then write when you get back."

He took out his stethoscope and listened to Jiang Lin for a while, then looked at Ji Shanfang: "Are you a family member?"

Ji Shanfang waved her hand: "I'm not, she's Xiao Jiang's girlfriend."

Su Yuhe just opened her mouth but before she could utter a word, she heard a surprised voice: "Is it you?"

Su Yuhe looked over and saw a doctor who came to check on the ward, but he was obviously not a newcomer. He was holding his hands, unlike the young doctors in front who were anxious to take notes.

She thought the man looked familiar, but she couldn't remember where she had seen him.

Besides, he is not as important as Jiang Lin.

Su Yuhe nodded silently, then looked at the doctor examining Jiang Lin and smiled politely: "Doctor, how is he now?"

The doctor looked at Su Yuhe and said, "It's good that the wound is not inflamed."

He picked up the medical file, looked at it, and said, "The fractured scapula needs to be healed, as does the fractured part. Did the nurse tell you not to eat?"

Su Yuhe nodded: "I said it."

The doctor nodded and said, "Right. Wait until the patient has bowel movements and passes gas, and then we'll see when he can eat."

Su Yuhe was stunned for a moment, then realized what it meant and nodded: "Thank you, doctor."

The ward rounds team turned to the old lady next to them and asked: "Have you discussed whether you want to have surgery or not..."

Su Yuhe didn't want to listen to what they were saying. Just as she was about to leave, the doctor called out to her, "Don't you remember me?"

Su Yuhe looked puzzled: "Who are you?"

"I'm Qu Cheng." Seeing that Su Yuhe was still confused, Qu Cheng quickly said, "On the train back home for the New Year, we saved an epileptic patient! Do you remember?"

He looked at Su Yuhe expectantly.

Su Yuhe remembered that it seemed to be true and smiled slightly: "It's you, what a coincidence."

Qu Cheng touched the back of his head and said, "We are truly destined to be together."

Jiang Lin was very unhappy seeing this man who appeared out of nowhere and kept talking to his wife. He coughed twice to make some noise.

Sure enough, Su Yuhe walked over nervously: "What's wrong?"

Jiang Lin regained his attention and felt much more comfortable, but he still looked the same. He said weakly, "I'm thirsty."

Su Yuhe brought water to feed him.
