Chapter 100: Jenny's Story

Jenny was somewhat skeptical, after all, she was a graduate of a prestigious university. However, upon further reflection, she thought that being a manager of a small shop would probably improve her internship grades, so she agreed.

Then she arrived at Chicago's pride—the magnificent mile, a "glorious mile" where her life took a dramatic turn.

They took her to a jewelry store, and before she entered, she looked up at the glittering gold sign—buccellati—which surprised her greatly.

She knew this brand, and had even researched it specifically for her thesis while in school. She knew that as early as 250 years ago, the name Buccellati was already active in Milan's most famous "golden neighborhood." Jenny was stunned by this sudden happiness. Only then did she realize how handsome the man in front of her was, like something out of a dream…

After a three-month internship, Jenny officially became the manager and nominal owner of the jewelry store. This kind of magical story, which only appears in motivational books about the workplace, was now being perfectly replicated in her own life. Jenny felt like it was all a dream.

From then on, her life was cleansed of darkness and filled with gorgeous colors.

What Jenny didn't know was that she wasn't the only one on this street with such a legendary story; many others had similar experiences. For example, there was Mr. William, the owner of the Starbucks next door. She didn't know that the now impeccably dressed and polite Mr. William was just a laid-off coffee shop worker three years ago…

"We'll be closing for three days and taking a week off! This is a perk from the boss, so please keep it a secret and give our customers a big surprise."

Meanwhile, in the email inboxes of every business owner on this street, the same email with identical wording sat silently. (To be continued...)
