Chapter 101 Old Morgan Playing Golf

Frank then realized he had taken the wrong picture and had hit the horse's leg, and he looked embarrassed.

The old man took a green repair fork from the caddie's bag and repaired the dent Frank had made with his club. Finally, he gently tapped the bottom of the putter head to flatten it, perfectly fulfilling the duties of a player.

"We Morgan family have been around for hundreds of years, so we should still pay attention to etiquette. We can't let those old men in Europe laugh at us and think that we Americans are all rude and uncivilized barbarians!"

Frank kept his head down and didn't say anything, but inwardly he was cursing the old man for being nosy.

That's right, the old man in front of you, holding a golf club and meticulously repairing the turf even more professionally than a caddie, is the current helmsman of the Morgan empire, known to outsiders as "Old Morgan".

It's quite unexpected that this ordinary father and son, playing golf in the bright sunshine, are actually the two highest-ranking people in the Morgan empire—an emperor and a crown prince—and they seem no different from any other father and son. The father would scold his son for the smallest things, and the middle-aged son could only hang his head dejectedly, looking utterly miserable.

No one would associate the old man wielding a golf club with the legendary Morgan who had dominated the industry for decades. As for Frank, oh my god! Who among the company's subordinates didn't know that their boss was a cold and serious man? How could he possibly act like a child, grinning and fawning over his old father?

This world must be insane...

Old Morgan looked down at the turf he had repaired, his enthusiasm for playing golf completely ruined by his rude son. He looked up irritably, "I'm not playing anymore!" and handed the club to the caddie.

After the father and son sat down side by side on the deckchairs, old Morgan picked up his glass, took a sip of whiskey, and then asked, "You just said you were in a meeting at the company. What meeting is so important that it made you late again?"

When Frank heard his father bring up the topic of being late again, he quickly replied, "It's about Chicago. Although we've bought TheMagnificentMile, there are still some details to handle. The company meeting is for discussing these things." He wanted to use business to divert his father's attention from personal matters.

“Oh, Chicago.” Old Morgan nodded. “How is the Duanmu family? What’s their reaction? I’ve met that kid Duanmu Ci. He looks exactly like his father! His father was a formidable figure, but he died young. Otherwise, you would be no match for him. You’d better pray that Duanmu Ci only inherited his father’s handsome looks and not his formidable abilities.”

"Otherwise, we probably wouldn't have won so convincingly." (To be continued...)
