The applause around the dance floor was thunderous and prolonged. This is almost the pinnacle of brilliance a school club can achieve, yet the name doesn't seem particularly elegant. If they can call themselves the "Skull and Bones Society," what's wrong with us calling ourselves the "Eternal Life Society"?
With that in mind, the students accepted the name and responded to their club leader with applause.
There's a reason why Duanmu gave his club this name!
First of all, it shouldn't be "club" (社), otherwise it's not imposing and doesn't match the character. After all, this club has merged with so many other clubs, so it's better to just use "association" (会).
Secondly, the word "immortality" has a double meaning.
