Chapter Ninety-Two: The Night Parade of One Hundred Demons

Kobe is a city located in Hyogo Prefecture, in the Kinki region of western Japan. It is the prefectural capital of Hyogo Prefecture, nestled against Mount Rokko to the west and facing Osaka Bay. It is an international trading port city situated between the lush Rokko National Park and the sparkling Seto Inland Sea. With its mountainous terrain and sea views, it boasts a superior natural environment, a warm climate, and distinct four seasons.

As one of the first five ports in Japan to open to foreign trade, Kobe naturally developed rapidly into one of Japan's most important port cities. Although the Great Hanshin Earthquake of 1995 dealt a huge blow to Kobe, after years of reconstruction, Kobe's urban development and population have exceeded the pre-earthquake levels.

This is a bustling city, but beneath its prosperous surface lies filth.

This is the headquarters of the All Japan Famous Mountains Daily Group, where they have been based for nearly a century.

However, tonight, Duanmu Ci wanted to uproot them completely.

...

...

"Tsuruta-kun is truly a courageous man. In fact, for something like this, sending a trusted confidant would have been enough, but I never expected you to personally lead the charge. You truly have the demeanor of a great general!"

The person who said this was Wei Yue. Three days ago, after completing seven rounds of negotiations with the Inajokai at a shrine in Tokyo, they rushed to Kobe overnight. Unexpectedly, Tsuruta Tsuna also arrived soon after and declared that he would personally oversee the operation. They spent three days scouting the location in Kobe and finally decided to make their move tonight.

Because there is a routine meeting at the Yama-Ri-Gu organization headquarters tonight, with almost all the high-ranking members of the organization in attendance, it is a perfect opportunity to take them all down!

Sitting in front of a cup of tea, Tsuruta Tsuna said gently, "Yagyu Takuya and I are old friends. My old friend is about to pass away, how can I not come to see him off in person? Only I in the whole world have the right to cut off his head!"

Yagyu Takuya is the sixth head of the Yamahi-gumi, and the leader of the group.

"It is proper to see off an old friend as he departs. Mr. Tsuruta, please send him off with your sword. This will not violate the honor of a samurai." Duanmu Ci smiled as he brewed tea.

Tsuruta Tsuna laughed and said, "You're right."

Tsuruta Tsuna's visit to Kobe was certainly not a solitary affair; he was backed by a massive army! Well, saying a massive army is a bit of an exaggeration; in reality, it was only three hundred men. However, these three hundred men were all elite troops that Tsuruta Tsuna had gathered from various parts of the Japanese archipelago. They were extremely capable and utterly loyal; even if their boss sent them to their deaths, they would not hesitate.

Compared to the unreliable local roads that Duanmu Ci mentioned, these people are the source of Tsuruta Tsuna's confidence to come to Kobe and face his opponents directly.

Tsuruta Tsuna rolled up the sleeves of his kimono, revealing an exquisite wristwatch. He glanced at the time and said, "It's exactly 12:00 noon now. The Yamahi Group will be holding a meeting at 7:00 PM. All the senior members will go to the Yamahi Group headquarters. Normally, they will hold a party after the meeting, and everyone will rest at the headquarters. This is our opportunity!"

Tsuruta Tsuna threw a powerful punch in mid-air.

"To strike unexpectedly and attack where the enemy is unprepared is the essence of military strategy," Wei Yue said with a smile. "I never expected that Mr. Tsuruta would also be an expert in military tactics."

"What military strategy? It's just the survival skills of some street thugs." Tsuruta Tsuna waved his hand. "Gen-kun is the one who surprised me. I didn't expect Gen-kun to have such good connections in Kobe. If Gen-kun hadn't found a way to divert the police near the Yamahi Group headquarters, I really wouldn't know what to do."

Wei Yue simply smiled and remained silent.

Wei Yue has a very powerful senior brother in Kobe. Doing things within his authority, such as diverting the police, is very simple for him; it only takes a word.

"Back then, King Leonidas of Sparta led 300 warriors to defend Thermopylae, only to be wiped out. Now, I, the third generation head of the Inazakukai, Tsuruta Tsuna, will lead my 300 warriors to end the Yamahi-gumi's reign of terror in Japan!" Tsuruta Tsuna exuded authority. "After tonight, I will rule the night!"

...

...

As a large, well-organized and disciplined society, the Yamuri Group has very strict rules and regulations, as well as a very strict system of rewards and punishments. The punishment is severe, with the possibility of cutting off fingers. Even the elders, if they fail to attend the monthly routine meeting on time, will be subjected to the humiliation of having their hair cut off and beards shaved. Therefore, no one dares to miss this meeting.

Today is the day of the Tsukiyama Higashi group's meeting.

Just past noon, cars began to arrive at the headquarters of the Yamahi Group, carrying powerful figures from Japan's underworld, each with their own bodyguards in the front seat. Normally, seeing even one of these cars would be a rare treat, but lately they seemed to be appearing in droves, as if they were indulging in a feast for the eyes, until dusk.

Outside the headquarters, bodyguards stood outside the high walls, bowing repeatedly to the approaching vehicles before checking their identities to prevent anyone from sneaking in and causing harm to the important figures inside. Historically, there have been instances where a bodyguard inadvertently let a car full of enemies in. While no major consequences resulted, the guard himself mysteriously died in a car accident that very night, and his entire family disappeared without a trace, rumored to have been drowned at sea.

From then on, no one dared to be careless.

As darkness fell, the main hall of the headquarters was brightly lit.

Yagyu Takuya, the sixth head of the Yamahi Group, stood at the end of the long table in the conference room and bowed to everyone present. "Thank you all for taking time out of your busy schedules to come. Thank you!"

Everyone quickly bowed in return, repeatedly saying "I dare not," but inwardly they were cursing, "Nonsense! If we don't come, we'll be punished. Who would dare not come?"
