"If I drink, who will take you home?" Pan Yue retorted.

"Just hire a designated driver," Lin Changren said nonchalantly.

"Thank you, I don't drink alcohol."

Neil finished mixing the drinks and then went home.

Lin Changren asked the kitchen staff to prepare some snacks, and then the kitchen staff went home.

Inside the bar, only the four of them remained. They sat at a square table, the girl on one side and the boy on the other.

Zhu Shiyi picked up the whiskey and took a sip.

She guessed it was true; too little alcohol was added. She felt that this was just honey grapefruit tea, with barely any alcohol flavor.

Unsatisfied with her curiosity, she secretly fiddled with her fingers, her eyes fixed on the second glass of wine Yu Fan had ordered.

As if seeing right through her little scheme, Yu Fan held his wine glass horizontally: "Want to try it?"

Zhu Shiyi nodded as the chicks smacked their lips.

Yu Fan chuckled knowingly, "This has a high alcohol content, so you can only drink a small sip."

Zhu Shiyi took the wine glass, smiled broadly, and said, "Mmm!"

"Warm it up before swallowing," Yu Fan added.

Zhu Shiyi felt like laughing for no reason.

How did this trick become so popular across the country? It's something that girls are very familiar with.

The unknown liquor burst on my tongue instantly, like drinking iced cola with popping candy, stimulating my nerves. After holding it for a few seconds, the sweetness emerged, followed by a gradual sourness.

Zhu Shiyi accidentally swallowed it.

Yu Fan raised an eyebrow, crossed his arms, pouted, and pretended to be angry.

Zhu Shiyi blinked quickly, looking innocent, and puffed out her cheeks: "It was a mistake, it was an accident."

After saying that, he raised his wine glass again.

He was then mercilessly pressed down by another hand.

"One more bite, one more bite." Zhu Shiyi leaned forward.

"You're drinking it during your period." Yu Fan's tone was firm, but his movements as he pried her fingers apart were gentle.

Lin Changren opened his mouth again, dumbfounded: "You girls... you can drink from the same cup on your first meeting?"

"That depends on the person," Yu Fan said, taking Zhu Shiyi's hand.

Zhu Shiyi obediently leaned his head in.

Lin Changren's eyebrows twitched.

She then asked, "Don't you girls feel uncomfortable talking about your periods in public?"

After saying that, he waved his hand and said, "I didn't mean anything by it. I used to think that not mentioning or talking about it was the only way to show respect to girls."

Pan Yue also cast his gaze over.

“I won’t shy away from it,” Zhu Shiyi commented, “but I won’t bring it up deliberately either. For example, I might casually mention that I can’t drink anything cold. Whether we talk about it or not, girls have their periods.”

Yu Fan nodded: "Only when you feel it's bad or inappropriate will you want to cover it up."

Zhu Shiyi added: "Yes. It's just something I said, it's not like people are seeing a river of blood."

Zhu Shiyi took another sip of wine, and in comparison, her glass truly tasted like no wine at all.

She smacked her lips and looked at Pan Yue: "Did you recommend this wine to me because you knew it didn't taste like alcohol?"

"No." He leaned back, a slight smile playing on his lips.

Zhu Shiyi's face fell.

The way he's acting doesn't seem like he's telling the truth.

“The hot drinks on the menu are all quite strong,” Pan Yue explained. “Heating them causes the alcohol to evaporate, which lowers the alcohol content. So we usually choose high-proof drinks to heat them.”

Yu Fan retorted, "That mulled wine, where is the alcohol content high?"

Then he paused again: "Oh. But it is indeed high for you."

She looked at Zhu Shiyi.

Zhu Shiyi grinned.

Okay.

A female college student's first time at a bar—she tried to act like an adult—and failed.

Lin Changren was in high spirits and shouted that he wanted to play a drinking game.

Zhu Shiyi didn't quite understand, so he listened to the rules and played around with them for a while, rambling on and on.

She propped her chin on her hand, looking slightly bored.

"Let's get a little more exciting," Pan Yue suddenly said.

"What game?" Lin Changren stared blankly. "Truth or dare?"

"How about a dare?" Yu Fan immediately sat up straight.

Lin Changren chuckled dryly: "Truth or dare... I'd rather not."

He raised his chin: "Look at you two, you've been working hard all night, playing with that stuff, how tiring."

Yu Fan waved his hand dismissively: "It's alright, I'm not tired."

Lin Changren coughed loudly, lowered his head, and avoided eye contact.

“He’s a coward.” Pan Yue smiled.

“Don’t be a coward,” Yu Fan declared decisively, “Let’s play Truth or Dare.”

Perfunctory, indifferent, and heartless.

No one cared whether Lin Changren lived or died.

Aside from the kind-hearted Zhu Shiyi.

...Zhu Shiyi, who was equally cowardly.

She thought that Lin Changren must be praying in his heart.

She decided that a god would descend to earth and become her savior.

Zhu Shiyi silently raised her hand and said tactfully, "How about we play truth or dare?"

Lin Changren's eyes lit up.

Yu Fan grew impatient and blurted out in his northern accent, "Xiao Shiyi, that's not fair. We women need to be adventurous. Why don't you try it?"

"Because I can't afford to play that game," Zhu Shiyi said frankly, completely disregarding saving face.

Suddenly, a muffled laugh broke out, like a wave being held back.

Zhu Shiyi looked at Pan Yue.

He moved his lips slightly: "Yes, we should take care of them."

"Don't worry, I won't say anything too outrageous."

I inexplicably felt a tremendous sense of persuasion.

Zhu Shiyi, a fence-sitter, obeyed "authority".

Lin Changren: "......"

The savior has arrived... but the savior has been turned against us.

Let's get right to it.

Yu Fan picked up the dice cup on the table: "Can you brag? I'll call first."

What are you bragging about? Do you have to spout nonsense?

Zhu Shiyi looked puzzled, but a look of wisdom crept into his eyes.

“College students probably wouldn’t.” Pan Yue seemed not to be looking at her, his lips curling into an ambiguous expression.

Zhu Shiyi: ......

Thank you, you really understand college students.

Yu Fan paused for a moment: "Then let's keep it simple, the one with the smallest sum of dice loses."

Zhu Shiyi understood what he meant, and she nodded vigorously, staring at Yu Fan's movements.

Yu Fan casually shook the dice, and she simply followed suit, rolling and shaking the dice as well.

The game begins.

The moment the box was opened, the unlucky initiator was the first to be affected.

"No need to ask, he chose truth." Pan Yue answered for Lin Changren.

Lin Changren's outburst must mean his secret has been exposed.

He stubbornly tried to save face: "Bullshit, your dad chose Truth or Dare."

Pan Yue remained silent, but smiled knowingly.

Lin Changren immediately pulled his neck back.

I've been infected.

“I, I’m the boss, I’ll propose the punishment,” Yu Fan said, overjoyed. “She hugged the other men present, gently pounded their chests, and acted coquettishly.”

Lin Changren's mouth formed an "O" shape: "What happened to not going too far?"

“What’s wrong with being of the same sex?” Yu Fan tried hard to suppress a laugh. “Don’t you think so, Xiao Shiyi?”

"Yes, Sister Yu Fan!" Zhu Shiyi assisted, demonstrating how to act coquettishly and charmingly on the spot.

Pan Yue's smile froze: "I remember, my points were second highest."

Lin Changren closed his eyes, his expression slightly ferocious: "Can I request a different one? Or I can drink, is drinking not allowed?"

“Make him drink,” Pan Yue waved his hand, “He has to drink three cups.”

"Never mind," Yu Fan sighed softly, "Let's hope one of them doesn't fall down as soon as they step onto the field."

Finally, Yu Fan suggested that Lin Changren hug the trash can and make a heartfelt confession.

Lin Changren complained repeatedly and still wanted to resist.

“Then act cute,” Yu Fan said firmly.

Lin Changren immediately backed down and spontaneously delivered a confession in a strong Northeastern accent: "Trash can, I love you!"

Like a madman.

Zhu Shiyi laughed so hard he fell over.

In the second wave of the Great Shift of Heaven and Earth, Yu Fan became the youngest;

Lin Changren, singing "The Servants Have Been Liberated," had his lips curled up to the sky, so exaggerated that he burst out laughing.

Perhaps fearing that Lin Changren would hold a grudge, Yu Fan hesitated for a moment before surprisingly choosing "truth or dare."

Lin Changren's lips twitched, as if countless wild ideas had been shattered in an instant.

He stroked his chin, his eyes gazing into the distance.

Suddenly, the focus shifts.

Do you prefer boys or girls?

......

Elderly people, subway, mobile phones.

This is Zhu Shiyi's expression.

"...That's it?" Yu Fan opened his mouth slightly. "What kind of question is that?"

"What's wrong?" Lin Changren appeared calm, but his lips twitched slightly. "If I didn't know better, I would think you and Shiyi were a couple."

That's right, she's holding hands, leaning on his shoulder, and acting all cute.

Pan Yue rubbed his forehead.

Such a straight man.

Zhu Shiyi explained, "It's normal for girls to admire each other."

Yu Fan chuckled and shook his head: "I've only ever liked boys before, never girls."

"You wasted a great opportunity," Zhu Shiyi teased.

Lin Changren clutched his chest, heartbroken.

In the third round, it was Yu Fan who suffered again.

This time, Zhu Shiyi is the king.

"Let's choose truth again," Yu Fan said, tossing his hair. "The last round was like I didn't say anything at all."

Yu Fan, with her long hair and red lips, is truly captivating to both men and women.

Zhu Shiyi asked curiously, "What's your ideal type?"

"Ideal type?" Yu Fan tilted his head slightly, revealing his bone structure, which was both three-dimensional and smooth.

Her eyes narrowed slightly: "I might like the aloof type."

Lin Changren touched his straight back, lowered his head to adjust his clothes, tucked his chin in, and his expression became more serious.

“How should I put it,” Yu Fan added, “maybe I’m a bit neurotic, I like people who don’t pay attention to me.”

Lin Changren's expression stiffened slightly.

"Why?" Zhu Shiyi asked in shock, "Does he like to torture you?"

“That’s not it,” Yu Fan chuckled. “It’s just… life is too boring. People who are nice to me right from the start are easy to get along with and not fun.”

“After I became an adult, most of the men who pursued me were older men, and most of them were only interested in my face. It’s disgusting,” Yu Fan snorted. “It’s inevitable that they would fall in love with my beauty. But if they only love my beauty, get lost.”

Zhu Shiyi, not entirely agreeing, was indignant: "Superficial! Naïve!"

“There’s nothing wrong with being childish,” Yu Fan smiled. “Childish people are happy every day. I might also like this kind of cute, affectionate puppy. It would be best if he could cook, take care of people, and be funny. My dad is like that.”

......

Zhu Shiyi was so shocked that she couldn't speak: "You described your dad as... a little puppy?"

Pan Yue glanced at her, then looked away, tilting his head as if deep in thought.

"It doesn't matter, he can't hear anyway, he's just a very cute little old man." Yu Fan tilted his head, his words sincere and heartfelt.

“You,” Lin Changren frowned, looking a little pained, but smiled, “how can you be both mature and cute at the same time?”

“It doesn’t conflict,” Yu Fan said, his eyes brightening as he shrugged. “Most of the time he’s a cool, aloof boy, but occasionally he can be cute in front of me.”

What goes around comes around. In the fourth round, Zhu Shiyi was defeated.

Pan Yue, who remained uninvolved in the first three rounds, became the questioner in this round.

"I choose truth." Zhu Shiyi said without hesitation.

She glanced at Pan Yue, a hint of interest in her eyes.

Pan Yue remained silent.

A few seconds later, he picked up the juice and took a sip.

Fingertips caressed the cup.

It lasted for almost half a minute.

"Will you ask, Mr. Pan?" Yu Fan moved forward, impatiently. "If you don't ask, you can ask."

Zhu Shiyi blinked and looked at Yu Fan: "Anything is fine."

Yet, inexplicably, it felt as if something had been lost.

“Ask,” Pan Yue suddenly said.

Zhu Shiyi's heart tightened.

My gaze brushed across his face, then slid down to his eyes.

His deep, dark eyes looked peaceful, yet seemed to hold something within them.

He pursed his lips: "What's the thing that's bothering you the most today?"

His speech was calm, but his content was nuanced, sometimes advancing and sometimes retreating.

Zhu Shiyi immediately understood what he meant.
