Went to the grasslands
Lu Yin stood at the edge of the grassland in the system space. In the distance, the windmill grass swayed gently in the breeze, like a green ocean. She had just completed the "Memory Recall" task, raising her emotional value from 20% to 35%, and was preparing to trigger the next strategy event. Suddenly, a familiar figure entered her field of vision—Lan Yi, her ex-boyfriend, was standing in the center of the grassland, a hint of confusion in his eyes.
"You... what are you doing here?" Lu Yin's voice trembled slightly. A system notification sounded: "Target Lan Yi has triggered system transmigration due to emotional trauma. Current emotional value: 10%." Lan Yi's pupils contracted, and his Adam's apple bobbed: "Lu Yin? Why are you here?"
Lu Yin's heart raced. Two years ago, he was her sunshine, cooking porridge for her in the early morning and staying up late with her to finish projects. But two years later, he had become cold and distant, not even bothering to reply to her messages. On the day they broke up, his words as he turned away, "We can't go back," pierced her heart like a knife. Now, they had unexpectedly met again on the grassland.
The system notification read: "Lan Yi is in a stable emotional state, triggering the 'Grassland Stroll' quest." Lu Yin and Lan Yi walked side by side on the grassland, the grass beneath their feet rustling softly. In the distance, a lamb peeked out from the grass, its round eyes curiously observing the two.
“Look, so cute,” Lu Yin said softly, her eyes sparkling. But she had always loved Ragdoll cats, finding them warm and soft, like fluffy fur. Lan Yi followed her gaze, a slight smile playing on his lips: “They really are cute.”
Suddenly, a fawn darted out of the woods, leaping lightly across the stream and landing a short distance away. The fawn's ears twitched gently, its eyes clear and bright. Lan Yi's eyes lit up; he had loved fawns since childhood, seeing them as forest spirits, free and pure.
“That little deer is beautiful too,” Lan Yi said softly, a hint of tenderness in her eyes.
The two ran along the deer's tracks, the breeze on the grassland gently brushing their cheeks, bringing a touch of coolness.
“
Lu Yin, her eyes sparkling with gratitude, said, "Thank you, Little Lu." Lan Yi stood to the side.
Lu Yin's face flushed slightly, and she said softly, "You too, Lan Yi." The system notification sounded: "Affection value +20%, target Lan Yi's affection value has increased to 30%."
The two spread out a picnic blanket on the grassland and set out food.
Lan Yi took the cake, a hint of emotion flashing in his eyes: "Thank you, Lu Yin." He took a bite of the cake, a smile playing on his lips: "It's delicious, just like you."
Lu Yin's face turned as red as a ripe apple, and she whispered, "You're sweet too, Lan Yi." The two smiled at each other, and a sweet atmosphere filled the air.
As the sun set, the grassland was bathed in a golden glow. Lu Yin and Lan Yi sat on the grass, watching the sunset in the distance.
Tears welled in Lu Yin's eyes as she whispered, "Me too, Lan Yi. I've never given up on you."
As night fell, the starry sky over the grassland shone brilliantly. Lu Yin and Lan Yi lay on the grass, counting the stars. Suddenly, Lu Yin said, "Lan Yi, if one day, would you like to raise a Ragdoll cat with me?"
Lan Yi smiled and said, "Of course I'm willing."
Lu Yin's face flushed slightly, and she said softly, "Then let's get a Ragdoll cat and let them become our family."
