Chapter 6 Love Academy

In front of the bookshelf on the other side, Zhou Zhou was looking for books carefully, and suddenly a flash of white appeared in the corner of his eye.

When I looked over there, I saw nothing.

Thinking of the white shadow he saw in the elevator, when he turned around, the white shadow had disappeared.

Turning around and walking towards the place he saw out of the corner of his eye, Zhou Zhou's footsteps were so light that he made almost no sound as he walked.

Standing in the corridor and looking around, he was the only one there, apart from the neatly arranged bookcases.

After standing there in a daze for a while, Zhou Zhou's gaze suddenly moved to the lower right.

On the right hand side, two tall bookcases stood back to back with a narrow gap in the middle. At the bottom, there was something like a white paper stuck inside, with only a small oval showing.

Zhou Zhou squatted there with an inquiring expression on his face, and reached out to pull the white piece of paper out.

The small piece of film became bigger and bigger, and then a head appeared.

Zhou Zhou:?

"I died miserably~"

The paper-thin white head actually spoke.

Zhou Zhou blinked, confusion in his eyes. He grabbed the head's ear and continued pulling it out by the ear.

Finally, a person was pulled out from the gap in the bookcase.

This man had a rather rough appearance. His entire body, even his hair and eyes, were all white, and they were also translucent, so one could even see the bookcase behind him through his body. From the side, it is as thin as a cicada's wing, and its lower body has no feet.

"I died miserably~"

If Zhou Zhou knew what a ghost was, he would know what was in front of him.

It's a pity that he didn't know it. He just felt that his action of grabbing the other person's ear was impolite, so he let go.

As soon as I let go, the ghost slowly floated upwards, shouting: "I died such a miserable death~"

The voice was vague and mournful, very creepy.

Realizing that the ghost was about to float away if he let go, Zhou Zhou quickly grabbed the conical fingers at the bottom of the ghost's body that looked like floating catkins.

The ghost was almost weightless, and Zhou Zhou pulled him down easily. The NPC and the ghost faced each other.

It was the first time Zhou Zhou had seen such a "person". He observed him curiously for a while and asked politely, "Hello."

"I died miserably~"

"My name is Zhou Zhou, what's yours?"

"I died miserably~"

"Will you say anything else?"

"I died miserably~"

Finding that this "person" could only say this sentence mechanically, Zhou Zhou squatted there, holding a part of the other person's body in both hands and observing it carefully, pulling it, and then pulling it.

I found that it can be stretched like rubber, and it bounces back to its original shape as soon as I let go.

It can also be squeezed into a ball and can return to its original shape after being released.

Very bouncy and chewy.

Zhou Zhou: It seems a bit fun.

He squatted there and rubbed the ghost into a flat and round shape for a while, during which the ghost continued to say the only line.

"I died so miserably~"

The tone becomes higher when stretched, and becomes lower when pinched into a ball. A good sentence can be spoken with ups and downs.

Zhou Zhou was like a child who had found a new toy. He played with it for a while before remembering that he was looking for a book. He rolled the ghost into a ball and put it in his pocket.

Show it to Shirley and Keli.

"Ahhhh, ghost!"

"Hey, what are you doing!"

As soon as I stood up and got ready, I heard someone screaming nearby. It was the voices of Shirley and Keli.

Zhou Zhou immediately walked towards the source of the sound. After turning around two bookcases, he saw Shirley holding a book as thick as a brick, raising it high and smashing it on Keli's head.

Keli held up the book that was about to fall on his head with one hand, and tried to move his head back.

"I thought you just told me that something happened and I should come to save you, but you ended up smashing me to death?"

Shirley saw the person in front of her clearly and put down the book with lingering fear: "It's you, you scared me to death just now."

Keli snorted in annoyance and made an exaggerated arc with his hand, "I was so scared. If I hadn't reacted quickly, I would have been killed by you with such a thick book."

Shirley looked around and saw Keli and Zhou Zhou nearby, then she explained, "I called you for a long time just now, but you didn't respond at all. I also saw some strange things, it seemed to be something white, but I'm not sure."

"What did you see? I only saw you trying to kill me."

"Who told you to scare me? I was already scared when I heard those strange noises and those white things, and you even played tricks to scare me."

Shirley glared at her brother, this guy must have done it on purpose. She turned the corner with the book in her hand and saw Keli shining a flashlight on her face, rolling his eyes and sticking out his tongue. If it hadn't been daytime and she had stopped in time, she would have killed him with a brick or book.

Keli touched his nose and felt guilty. He picked up another flashlight in the corner of the library. He didn't know which player threw it there. It felt very similar to the one they had before. It was probably an exchanged item.

I originally wanted to scare Shirley, but after I came over, before I could make any noise, I was almost smashed to death by her.

When he heard the word white, Zhou Zhou thought of the talking ball he had made. He reached into his pocket, but it was empty.

Ran away?

He looked on the ground but couldn't find it, nor on the ceiling. Zhou Zhou withdrew his gaze with regret. He had originally planned to show it to Shirley and Keli, but now it was gone.

Shirley talked about her experience just now. Although she didn't know what was in the library, there was definitely something strange.

So in the end, the three of them looked for the book together, and they were within each other's sight. Although the speed was slow, nothing strange happened.

Finally the three of them found the book - "Greek Mythology".

The book looked very worn, and the words on the cover and spine were blurred. They searched for it several times before they found it.

When he opened the book, he saw a green heart-shaped gem floating on the page, which was very similar to the one Zhou Zhou had obtained before.

After getting the gem, the task panels of both Coli and Shirley showed that the main task had been completed.

Then another line of words appeared on the panel.

[Go to the next clue according to the instructions in the borrowed book. ]

"According to the hint in the book? Is the hint in the book?"

Keli flipped through two pages, then put the book down with a headache, "Too much. The game will be over by the time I finish reading it."

"I'll do it." Shirley took the book and started looking for clues from the first page, her expression calm and confident.

After a few minutes, she looked up at Zhou Zhou with an embarrassed but flattering smile, "How about you come?"

Keli also chuckled twice, and stood behind Zhou Zhou, rubbing his shoulders and back in a flattering manner, "We two really can't use our brains, how about you come and take a look?"

It was Zhou Zhou who found the clues several times before, and they also realized that although Zhou Zhou looked like a young man who was ignorant of the world, he was really smart, much better than the two of them.

Zhou Zhou didn't take the book that Shirley handed over. He just took a look at it and said, "In the woods behind the dormitory building."

The two opened their eyes wide, looking incredulous, "Why is it there?" They hadn't even read the book.

"Because that's the picture on the cover." Zhou Zhou was very familiar with every tree and blade of grass in the school. He knew at a glance that the blurry picture in the middle of the cover was the scenery in the school.

"Really?" Keli thought for a while, but still couldn't remember what the back of the dormitory building looked like.

But since Zhou Zhou said so, it must be there.

Keli was ready to head to his destination with a book under his arm. He took two steps but suddenly stopped, turned around and asked hesitantly, "How do we get down?"

The staircase under there is locked. Do I have to take the elevator again?

Shirley: "I definitely have to take the elevator. I can't possibly jump off the building."

Keli said in despair: "...are there any other options?"

A few minutes later, Keli walked into the elevator tremblingly, and as soon as he entered, he grabbed Zhou Zhou tightly, and Shirley followed suit and grabbed Zhou Zhou's arm.

The brother and sister sandwiched Zhou Zhou in the middle like a pie, staring at the elevator buttons nervously.

Zhou Zhou patiently let them squeeze in, looking around from time to time, as if he was looking for something.

After the elevator door slowly closed, it began to descend at a constant speed.

This time there were no accidents and the car stopped safely on the first floor.

When Keli and Shirley came out of the elevator, they were still a little bit incredulous, "They really came out like this?"

Zhou Zhou nodded, "Yeah."

The "person" who just floated up when he threw his hand is lost, and we haven't let Keli and the others see him yet. It's a pity. Zhou Zhou thought as he followed the two people and quickly walked out of the library.

The sun outside was already setting. The flow of time in the game was different from that in reality. At this moment, only two or three hours had passed in reality, but almost a day had passed in the game.

And the first person to complete the Love Academy copy has appeared. If Zhou Zhou saw the other person, he would definitely recognize him as the person who helped him in the dormitory building.

There used to be a large laurel forest behind the dormitory building. The lush forest was evergreen all the year round. In the glorious past of the Love Academy, this was one of the most popular places.

But now, the laurel tree is bare, without a single leaf, and large gray-brown, winding and rugged branches crisscross the landscape, making it look even more desolate.

Keli held the book and compared it with the original several times. Although the picture on the cover was worn, he could still see that it was a dense forest. This place was too desolate.

But Zhou Zhou was very sure that this was the place shown in the book.

Shirley was able to see something. Although there were no leaves, the texture and shape of the tree trunks were somewhat similar if you looked closely.

This is the location of the next clue. After discussing it, several people felt that there should also be a heart-shaped gem somewhere here.

There were no leaves blocking the view, so the vision was fairly clear. At first glance, there wasn't anything heart-shaped, so it might be buried underground or in a tree hole or something like that.

The three of them were searching side by side. At some point, Zhou Zhou, who was walking at the back and following the two silently, was caught in the middle.

The sky darkened in an instant and night fell.

Zhou Zhou had already gotten used to the changes here, but Keli and Shirley were not used to the sudden darkness and immediately grabbed Zhou Zhou's arms.

As if a mother hen was carrying two frightened chicks, Zhou Zhou said soothingly: "It's okay, it's just time to go to bed."

Keli quickly took out a flashlight and turned it on, "Why are you sleeping? I get scared when it gets dark."

Shirley huddled on the other side. "It's just, it's pitch black, and I always feel like something will suddenly jump out at the next moment."

As soon as the words fell, a white figure suddenly appeared in front of the three people, and it was very eye-catching under the weak light of the flashlight.

"I died such a miserable death~" The miserable and resentful words seemed to echo in my ears.

Shirley screamed in horror: "Ahhhhhhhhh!"

Keli rolled his eyes and said, "Oh my mother!"

Only Zhou Zhou showed a hint of surprise: "Huh?"

The author has something to say:
