Chapter 66

Chapter 66

Wang Jiazhi went to the magazine to submit her manuscripts over the weekend. One of her recent manuscripts had been lost in the mail, and she really liked it. It was a waste of money and time, and it was also very troublesome to have to recopy it.

The sky was clear when we left, but it started to rain when we returned. Wang Jiazhi walked down the mountain road, holding an umbrella. She saw a crowd of people ahead, so she tiptoed over and saw a wounded little fox.

Both of its hind legs and one of its front legs were injured and bleeding. Its fur was soaked and dirty with mud and blood. It fell to the ground, making a whimpering sound.

"How could this happen? He was bitten by a wolf."

"This place is next to the highway, so it might be hit by a car."

"I'm afraid you won't survive this. Wild animals will come out at night and eat you."

"If you don't get eaten, you'll starve to death."

People talked about it, but no one tried to save its life.

The rain got heavier, and people left with umbrellas. The fox collapsed on the ground, groaning helplessly.

Wang Jiazhi looked at it, bent down, picked it up and walked quickly down the mountain.

Holding the wet fur in my arms, I can feel its warmth and breath. This thing is alive.

Even with an umbrella, she still got wet, and the fox in her arms also wet her clothes.

Wang Jiazhi wiped its fur with a towel and went to the pharmacy to buy some bandages and alcohol. The little creature was very obedient. Although it hurt, it didn't scratch her.

She remembered and went out to buy it some food and water. It was obvious that it was very thirsty and very hungry, drinking the water and eating the food in big gulps.

Wang Jiazhi stroked its fur and said, "How pitiful."

After she finished with the little fox, Wang Jiazhi went to shower and wash clothes. She wrung out her light blue cheongsam and hung it out the window to dry. Xiaoshuang and Wen Runze were out today and probably wouldn't be back early.

Wang Jiazhi found an empty cardboard box, put her light pink cushion inside, and made a small nest for the cat to sleep in.

It was still drizzling outside. Wang Jiazhi changed into her pajamas and prepared to go to sleep. She had walked too much today.

When she turned around, she saw it popping its head out of the cardboard box, looking at her with sparkling eyes.

She smiled and said, "Do you want to sleep with me?"

The little fox whimpered a few times.

She held the furry white ball in her arms, and it rubbed against her and whimpered, scratching her gently with its only uninjured paw.

Wang Jiazhi's heart melted and she hugged him tightly and couldn't let go.

Vixen is indeed a creature that is hard to resist. No wonder men like her and women can't resist her.

At night, it cried out in pain from its wound. Wang Jiazhi stroked its fur and said, "It doesn't hurt anymore. It doesn't hurt anymore. Go to sleep well."

After a while, it fell asleep. She had heard that cats like people stroking their fur, and it felt like their mother licking their fur. Maybe all furry things like this.

Wang Jiazhi fell asleep hugging the furry and warm ball.
