By the time the fire was extinguished, Li Baihua was covered in a mess.
Her pretty face was filthy, and much of her hair and eyebrows had been burned.

Emperor Tai'an glanced silently at Shi Yu beside him.

"Li Baihua, you've improved."
"Even a stay-at-home order can't keep you in, can it?"
"You don't necessarily want to become the top courtesan in a brothel, do you?"

"Why is this person back again? Didn't you already send him out of the palace?" Emperor Tai'an questioned.
The expression on his face makes him look a bit like a jealous young wife.
"Your Majesty, so you knew all along," Empress Liu said calmly.
[Hehe...] Shi Yu, who was watching the show from the side, couldn't help but laugh out loud.
[Gua66, judging from Emperor Tai'an's expression, it seems like he knows everything?]
Gua66, [Yuyu, you forgot.]
[Emperor Tai'an was the emperor; it's perfectly normal for him to know about all sorts of things happening in the palace.]
