Chapter 45 The Secretary of the CEO of the Extinct Family 3

Chen Xiaoru raised her eyes, and her gaze from behind her thick glasses swept over Li Hong. She took the document and responded crisply:

"Okay, I'll help you this time, but next time you have to do it yourself."

Li Hong felt relieved upon hearing this. She nodded repeatedly in gratitude and clasped her hands together before bowing to Chen Xiaoru.

"Thank you so much, thank you so much!"

Chen Xiaoru didn't really want to be a sucker, she just wanted to see if that bastard Chu Tianche could recognize her!

She took the documents, walked to the door of the president's office, took a deep breath, raised her hand and knocked on the office door.

“Dongdongdong——”

"Come in." The deep voice carried unquestionable majesty and echoed in the empty office.

Chen Xiaoru pushed open the office door and was greeted by a luxurious atmosphere.

Chu Tianche sat behind a large desk, buried in documents. The sunlight outlined his tall and straight figure, and his stern profile looked even more profound in the interweaving of light and shadow.

Chen Xiaoru's gaze lingered on him for a moment, and she secretly sighed: A man who works hard is indeed different from his usual self. She thought of the man who lost control last night and the CEO who was strategizing in front of her. They were completely different people.

She withdrew her thoughts and walked forward in her high heels, which made a crisp sound against the marble floor.

Chen Xiaoru walked to the desk and gently placed the folder on the large mahogany desk. With a soft click, she said softly, "President, this is the document you requested. Please take a look. If you have any questions, please feel free to let me know."

She bowed slightly, maintaining the right distance and posture, and spoke in a respectful tone.

Chu Tianche raised his head, his sharp eyes moved away from the document and fell on Chen Xiaoru's face. After a moment, he withdrew his gaze, his tone carrying a hint of imperceptible fatigue:

"Okay, leave it there and close the door when you go out." He leaned back in the leather seat, tapping the table lightly with his slender fingers.

Chen Xiaoru didn't leave immediately. Instead, she nodded slightly and replied softly, "Okay, President."

She turned and walked towards the door, her high heels making a crisp "tapping" sound as they touched the ground, echoing in the empty office.

Chen Xiaoru walked out of the president's office and closed the door gently. The sound of her high heels tapping on the ground gradually faded away and disappeared at the end of the corridor.

Chen Xiaoru returned to the cubicle, sat down gently, and breathed a sigh of relief.

She looked around and saw that her desk was piled high with documents and materials, making it look a bit crowded.

She reached out to tidy up the desk, stacking the folders neatly together. Her fingertips slid across the paper, the rough touch mixed with the fragrance of ink. This familiar smell made her feel a little at ease.

"Chu Tianche, ah Chu Tianche, you have come to this day!"

The corners of her mouth curled up, revealing a triumphant smirk, her heart bursting with joy. "It seems like you really didn't recognize me. This is going to be fun!"

As time passed, the atmosphere in the office gradually became tense. Everyone buried their heads in their work, not daring to slack off in the slightest.

Chen Xiaoru was no exception. She flipped through the documents in her hands with a focused look, as if the whole world had disappeared, leaving only her and the documents in her hands.
