"Xiaoyue, do you like this little bear?"
Xiaoyue nodded vigorously, hugged the little bear, kissed Chen Xiaoru on the face, and said in a baby voice:
"I like it! Thank you, Sister Xiaoru!"
Chen Xiaoru smiled and touched Xiaoyue's head, then walked over to the boys who were playing with building blocks and taught them how to assemble them.
The room was filled with the children's laughter, a warm and lively atmosphere. Chen Xiaoru felt as if she had returned to her childhood, playing and frolicking with these children, all her worries and sorrows forgotten.
As the sun set, its golden afterglow filled the courtyard, casting a warm glow over everything. The children, tired from playing, cuddled up to Chen Xiaoru and listened to her stories. Her voice was gentle and melodious, like a clear spring, nourishing the children's hearts.
Dean Li came out of the kitchen and invited everyone to dinner. The table was filled with a sumptuous dinner, including fragrant braised pork, tender steamed fish, and a variety of vegetables and fruits, all of which were delicious.
The children sat around the table, devouring their food with happy smiles on their faces. Chen Xiaoru picked up some food for the children while chatting with Dean Li about family matters. The atmosphere was warm and harmonious.
After dinner, Chen Xiaoru helped Dean Li clear the dishes and then played with the children in the yard for a while. As night fell, the stars dotted the deep blue sky, twinkling with enchanting light.
Chen Xiaoru reluctantly said goodbye to the children, then came to Dean Li and hugged her tightly:
"Dean Mama, I'll come see you again when I have time."
Dean Li patted Chen Xiaoru on the shoulder and said lovingly:
"Good boy, be careful on the road, and come home often when you have time."
Chen Xiaoru nodded, turned around and walked out of the courtyard. She turned around and looked at the lighted window, her heart filled with warmth and gratitude.
