When Chu Tianche left the club, the cold wind mixed with rain slapped his face, sobering him up a little.
He started the engine, and the black Maybach disappeared into the night like an arrow, speeding all the way and finally stopped in front of a heavily guarded private villa on the outskirts of the city.

He murmured softly, his voice hoarse and tinged with self-mockery. His slender fingers tightly gripped the wine glass, his knuckles white, and veins bulged on the back of his hand.
He tilted his head back and drank the wine in the glass in one gulp. The spicy liquid slid down his throat, but it couldn't quench his inner restlessness.
"In my career, I am successful."
He slammed his empty wine glass down on the coffee table, making a dull thud. He raised his hand, rubbed his furrowed brow, and closed his eyes tiredly. His long eyelashes cast a faint shadow under his eyelids.
"But what about the others?"
He laughed at himself, and his laughter was filled with indescribable bitterness and loneliness.
He suddenly opened his eyes, a glint of cruelty flashing across them. "Spermia"... those three words were like a sharp knife, piercing his heart.
Can he really give Chen Xiaoru happiness? Thinking of Chen Xiaoru, his mind emerged that beautiful face and the resolute look in her eyes when she rejected him.
"She was right to reject me."
He muttered to himself, a tone of helplessness and self-mockery in his voice. He picked up the glass again, filled it up, and drank it all in one gulp. Sick... who would like that? He raised the corners of his mouth in self-mockery, his smile full of bitterness.

After a week of investigation, Zhou Chen finally found out all the problems within the Su Group.
Zhou Chen stood in front of a huge mahogany desk, holding a document, his expression solemn. He bowed slightly and handed the document to Chu Tianche. His tone was steady, but with a subtle hint of caution:
"President, this is the Su Group's recent financial statements and project progress report."
Chu Tianche sat in a black leather boss chair, his slender fingers tapping rhythmically on the table, making a dull sound.
His face was stern, with a sharp light flashing in his deep eyes, and he exuded a powerful aura that kept strangers away.
He did not take the document immediately, but raised his head and looked at Zhou Chen's face with sharp eyes, as if he could see through him.
Zhou Chen felt the strong sense of oppression, and his heart beat faster, but he still remained calm and did not dare to slack off in the slightest.
Chu Tianche slowly reached out his hand and took the document, his movements graceful and calm. He flipped open the document, his sharp eyes quickly scanning every line of data, his brows gradually furrowed.
The office was silent, with only the faint sound of shuffling papers and the tapping of Chu Tianche's fingers on the table.
Time passed minute by minute, Zhou Chen stood with his hands hanging down, quietly waiting for Chu Tianche's instructions.
Finally, Chu Tianche put down the documents, leaned back on the chair, and gently rubbed his slender fingers together.
"The Su Group's capital chain has problems, and the problem is not small."
He spoke slowly, his voice low and magnetic, yet with a barely perceptible chill, like a chill wind from the depths of hell, making people shudder.
Zhou Chen nodded and said in a deep voice:
"Yes, President. According to our investigation, the Su Group has recently invested huge sums of money in several large projects, but the repayment cycle is too long, resulting in a serious shortage of cash flow. He stood up and walked to the French window, overlooking the city below. The sunlight shone on him, but it couldn't dispel the chill that emanated from him.
"New town development project..."
He muttered to himself, a gleam in his eyes, "This project is the lifeblood of the Su family."
He turned around and looked at Zhou Chen, his eyes as sharp as a knife:
"Zhou Chen, I want you to continue to investigate further. Make sure you find out the specific reasons why the Su Group's funding chain was broken, as well as the details of their internal power struggle. I want to know how much leverage I can hold over the Su family."
Zhou Chen immediately accepted the order and said in a firm tone:
"Yes, President, I will definitely find out as soon as possible."
Zhou Chen quietly left the office.
