Chapter 65 The Secretary of the CEO of the Extinct Family 23

"It took me three years to triple the Chu Corporation's market value! Do you know how many people I stepped on to get to where I am today? Those people are not even worthy of carrying my shoes now, and you still want to tell me what to do?"

Gu Sichen leaned forward, crossed his hands, placed them on his knees, and nodded solemnly:

"Tian Che, your ability is unquestionable, and I certainly understand what you mean. However, Aunt Zhang is your mother after all, so aren't you worried..."

"What are you worried about?"

Chu Tianche interrupted him abruptly, his eyes seemed to be spitting fire, he slammed the wine glass in his hand hard on the table, with a loud "clang", the glass shattered, glass shards and wine splashed everywhere.

"Worried about her being sad? Worried about her being upset? She's not upset at all! She only cares about herself! When has she ever cared about my life or death? Has she ever asked me what I really want?!"

He stood up suddenly, strode to the floor-to-ceiling window, turned his back to Gu Sichen, put his hands in his pockets, and his shoulders trembled slightly.

"From childhood to adulthood, she only cares about the interests of the Chu family. When has she ever treated me as her own son?!"

Chu Tianche took a huge gulp of wine, the spicy taste making him frown, but the fire in his heart burned even more fiercely. His eyes were red as if they were about to bleed, staring at the wine swaying in the glass, wishing he could stare a hole in that fucking face!

"The Chu family is now in my hands. Does she still want to dictate things? She can dream on!"

The more he spoke, the more excited he became. The wine glass in his hand made a crackling sound as if it would break at any moment.

Seeing this, Gu Sichen frowned slightly, and calmly pushed his glass towards Chu Tianche, changing the subject in a relaxed tone:

"Alright, alright, don't get yourself into trouble by getting so angry. Speaking of which, didn't you say last time that you were looking for someone? Did you find them?"

He leaned back slightly, leaning on the sofa, his slender fingers tapping the table casually, but his eyes fell on Chu Tianche with a bit of inquiry.

Upon hearing this, the violence in Chu Tianche's eyes subsided slightly. He tilted his head back and drank the wine in the glass in one gulp. His Adam's apple rolled up and down, making a low swallowing sound.

He put down his wine glass, his tone became a little lighter, but still carried a barely perceptible chill:

"Found it."

"oh?"

Gu Sichen raised his eyebrows, becoming interested. He leaned forward, staring at Chu Tianche with sparkling eyes.

"Congratulations, when will you bring her here for the brothers to see? Let us also see what kind of peerless beauty this woman is who can make our Young Master Chu fall in love with her?"

His tone was teasing, and a playful smile appeared on the corner of his mouth.

Chu Tianche just shook his head, picked up the bottle and filled it up, then drank it all again before uttering a word:

"Disaster."

Then he raised the bottle, gestured to Gu Sichen, and started drinking without saying anything more.

Seeing this, Gu Sichen stopped asking questions and just drank with Chu Tianche silently. The box was quiet for a while, with only the crisp sound of wine glasses clinking.
