In the evening, Chu Tianche appeared at the door with a tired look on his face, but his eyes softened instantly when he saw Chen Xiaoru.
"Xiaoru, let's go out for dinner today!" Chu Tianche's voice carried a hint of imperceptible expectation. He walked to Chen Xiaoru and gently put his arms around her waist.
When Chen Xiaoru heard this suggestion, her originally dim eyes instantly lit up, as if stars were falling into them. She looked up at Chu Tianche, and the corners of her mouth unconsciously raised a sweet arc.
"Okay, I'll go change!"
After a while, she came out changed her clothes and wore a light blue dress. The hem of the dress swayed like waves.
She also put on light makeup, her skin was as white as snow, and her eyes were watery and seemed to speak. With the earrings and necklace, she looked extremely pure, with a little woman's charm, which was simply irresistible.

In the car, the two chatted casually, and the atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant.
Chen Xiaoru secretly looked at Chu Tianche. His profile, which was focused on driving, looked particularly charming under the neon lights outside the car window.
The car finally stopped at the door of a high-end restaurant. This restaurant is located at the highest point in the city and overlooks the night view of the entire city.
Chu Tianche held Chen Xiaoru's hand and walked into the restaurant. The restaurant was softly lit and the music was soothing, creating a romantic and warm atmosphere.
They were seated by the window, and through the huge floor-to-ceiling windows, they could take in the entire city's night view.
The colorful lights outside the window are like an overturned palette, dyeing the city into a rich and colorful oil painting.
This brilliance was reflected in Chen Xiaoru's pupils. She opened her cherry lips slightly and a word of "So beautiful" floated out softly, almost following her breath.
Chu Tianche withdrew his gaze from the window and fell on Chen Xiaoru's face. The stars in her eyes moved him more than the lights outside the window. His voice unconsciously softened, with a hint of doting:
"Do you like it? If you do, we'll come here often in the future."
Chen Xiaoru withdrew her gaze from the window and looked at him. Their eyes met, and time stood still.
She could clearly see her reflection in his deep eyes, which were filled with tenderness and affection. Her heart skipped a beat, a faint blush appeared on her face, and she nodded gently, her smile blooming like a spring flower.
At this moment, the waiter came over with the menu, and the two reluctantly separated their eyes. They began to order, and the occasional eye contact was filled with a hint of sweet ambiguity.
The lights in the restaurant suddenly dimmed, leaving only the candlelight on the table. The atmosphere suddenly became ambiguous. The music also changed to a particularly romantic tune. A violinist appeared from nowhere and played a lingering and sad music.
Chen Xiaoru was stunned for a moment, her heart skipped a beat, and she thought, what is going on?
She turned around and saw Chu Tianche kneeling on one knee, holding a velvet box in his hand, which gleamed in the candlelight. Her heart immediately started to ring with alarm bells. No way, is this happening again?

"Xiao Ru, we haven't known each other for long, but I, Chu Tianche, have decided on you in this life. You are the woman I want to marry."
Chu Tianche's voice was deep and powerful, and every word hit Chen Xiaoru's heart, making her heart tremble.
He raised his head and looked at Chen Xiaoru with burning eyes. His deep eyes were filled with tenderness and expectation, as well as a hint of imperceptible nervousness, like a prisoner waiting for sentencing.
"will you marry me?"
His voice was trembling, yet full of irresistible magic.
Chen Xiaoru was completely stunned. She covered her mouth with her hands and her eyes widened. She never expected that Chu Tianche would propose to her again.
She looked at the man kneeling on one knee in front of her, her head buzzing, her heart beating wildly, almost jumping out of her throat, and she even began to wonder if she was dreaming.
The past scenes flashed through her mind like a movie. Everything he did for her, every gentle look, every warm hug, every firm promise, all appeared clearly before her.
Her eyes were moist, and tears welled up uncontrollably, blurring her vision. She opened her mouth, wanting to say something, but found herself choking and unable to utter a single word, as if her throat was blocked by something.
"Xiao Ru, I know you may need time to think about it, but I want you to know that I am serious."
Chu Tianche's voice sounded again, with a hint of anxiety and uneasiness.
