Chapter 1 Let me show you whether I'm capable or not

"Sister-in-law, my brother is impotent and can't satisfy you. You shouldn't have come to me. You're putting me in a very difficult position..."

In Fu Jingchen's room, the man placed the woman's hand on his waist. Facing the bedroom door, he tore off half of his shirt and blew on the woman's neck, deliberately making ambiguous sounds, while stealing glances at the person outside the door.

Rong Yan struggled like a puppet, but her body was limp.

In that cup of tea... she instantly understood.

Fu Jingsheng kicked open the half-closed door and grabbed the woman on the bed. She had a rosy complexion and dazed eyes.

The moment Rong Yan saw Fu Jingsheng, she suddenly felt a surge of strength. As if grasping at a lifeline, she grabbed the man's collar with her other hand and pulled on her shoulder strap.

"Brother, let me explain." Fu Jingchen pretended to be scared.

"I'll settle the score with you later." The man's eyes were gloomy as he walked out of his brother's room without looking back.

In the master bedroom, Rong Yan was thrown onto the large bed, the sound of the metal buckle on her belt breaking the silence of the night.

He leaned down on her: "How many times have you and Fu Jingchen stolen from me behind my back? If that's what you want, I'll grant your wish and show you whether I'm capable or not."

The kiss was aggressive.

That night, Rong Yan was tortured to the point of near death, and eventually fell into a deep sleep.

——

The next morning, sunlight streamed through the gaps in the curtains and fell on Rong Yan's face. She slowly opened her eyes, but the man beside her was already gone.

A wave of lower abdominal pain and stinging sensations washed over me. Before I could even think about what happened last night, there was a loud knocking on the door.

Then, the housekeeper, Aunt Liu, led the old lady of the Fu family directly into the house.

"Grandma," Rong Yan called out, pulling the blanket tighter around herself.

The old woman's gaze fell on the bloodstains beside the bed, and the same thing on her grandson's bed flashed through her mind. She exclaimed, "What bad luck!"

She threw down the check and divorce papers: "Sign it, pack your bags immediately, leave the Fu family, and don't mention a word about last night."

"Grandma, is this Fu Jingsheng's intention?" Rong Yan picked up the agreement on the quilt and glanced at it. She had only been in the Fu family for a month, and now they wanted a divorce.

"Yes, the young master is away on a business trip. He printed out the agreement and signed it this morning. This check is your compensation," Aunt Liu answered on his behalf.

"Alternatives are never good enough," the old lady said disdainfully as she left the room.

"Young Madam, why did you have to do this to yourself? Miss Bingbing is about to return to the country. If you had behaved well at this crucial moment, you wouldn't have been kicked out. At least you could have continued to be Mrs. Fu and treated the eldest young master with respect. Now look what's happened..."

"How did you end up in the young master's bed?" Aunt Liu asked, trying to sound sympathetic, but her eyes betrayed an undisguised smugness.

"Even though the young master hasn't touched you in the month since you got married, you still can't do this."

Was she courting death? She climbed into Fu Jingchen's bed? Even the servants knew that Fu Jingsheng hadn't touched her?

Last night, Fu Jingchen clearly framed her, and the bloodstains on the sheets now prove that nothing happened between her and Fu Jingchen.

Is Fu Jingsheng blind?

Rong Yan picked up her phone and sent the man a message: "Is divorce your idea? You doubt my relationship with Fu Jingchen?"

She took a picture of the bed sheet and sent it to her.

After a while, Fu Jingsheng replied: "Fu Jingchen apologized to me this morning with the same bed sheet. Blood packs are only 9.9 yuan with free shipping. Sign it and take the money."

Rong Yan's fingers trembled slightly as she held the phone. She laughed self-deprecatingly. She had actually expected Fu Jingsheng to back her up. Fu Jingchen had definitely put on a good show. Now, no matter how she explained, it would be useless.

Besides, Rong Bing is back; maybe this whole thing was planned by the two brothers together.

Rong Yan blurted out in frustration, "Thank you, President Fu. Before I leave, I have something to tell you: you really are no good. Yesterday was a rare treat, and the experience was terrible."

She counted the nine figures on the check. She had received so much money in just one month of marriage. Fu Jingsheng didn't love her, but he hadn't mistreated her either.

She had liked Fu Jingsheng for so many years, but she knew that Fu Jingsheng only had eyes for his younger sister. She painstakingly cultivated herself into the ideal daughter-in-law of the Fu family.

Until her younger sister had an accident and left without saying goodbye, a month ago she finally got her wish and married Fu Jingsheng.

Now his ideal woman is coming back.

According to the Rong family's rules, a married daughter is like water spilled from a cup; she is not allowed to return after a divorce. She didn't want to go back to the Rong family, that cold place. Since she was little, her grandparents only had eyes for Rong Bing.

With this money, she could live a carefree and happy life on her own.

Rong Yan didn't even shed a tear. She accepted the check, blocked Fu Jingsheng, and left the Fu family home without taking any luggage.

Aunt Liu sent a message to Fu Jingsheng: "Young Master, Madam took the money and left without looking back, without even taking her luggage. This woman really only cares about money."

Fu Jingsheng rubbed his throbbing temples, his eyes fixed on the last message Rong Yan had sent—the experience was terrible.

This woman perfectly meets the old man's criteria for choosing a granddaughter-in-law. No wonder there are rumors that the eldest daughter of the Rong family specially molded herself into the old man's ideal type in order to enter the Fu family.

He even harmed his own sister; he was ruthless and would stop at nothing for money.

She clearly didn't like him at all, which is why she couldn't even endure a month of loneliness.
