Chapter 2: Don't mention that woman.

Seven years later.

Chung-sun Mental Health Clinic: Song-sun reappears at a branch clinic three years after her disappearance.

News of Songseon's return spread like wildfire.

The clinic was packed with people who had come from far and wide, most of them just there to see what was going on.

The crowd dispersed automatically when the Fu family's butler appeared.

Fu Yunting's medical records were handed to the treatment room.

Rong Yan was flipping through the patient's files.

The name of the guardian was clearly written in the column: Fu Jingsheng.

The medical record was very complicated, but in short, seven-year-old Fu Yunting still cannot speak.

As a world-class psychologist, she shouldn't refuse any patients, but as Fu Jingsheng's ex-wife, she chose to ignore them.

Back then, Fu Jingsheng was so impatient that he had Fu Yunting with Rong Bing as soon as he left.

The woman's dark eyes fell on the phone screen. In the photo, her two daughters were smiling brightly; they were only a month older than Fu Yunting.

A suffocating feeling washed over me.

For seven years, she has chosen to block all news about Fu Jingsheng.

"Yan, Yan," Shen Xingzhi called out to the woman whose face was contorted in pain.

"The Fu family said that as long as Fu Yunting can be cured, they will write whatever they want, starting with checks in the nine figures."

Rong Yan snapped out of her thoughts.

“He really loves Rong Bing.” The woman threw Fu Yunting’s medical record away. “The Fu family refused to accept it and told him they were powerless to help.”

——

In the study, Fu Jingsheng was surprised that Songshan had rejected such generous terms.

The clinic's founder, who had been living abroad and whose whereabouts were shrouded in mystery, had been out of contact for nearly three years. This was her first time visiting Tiancheng.

Fu Jingsheng used all his connections but couldn't find any specific information about Song Shan, nor could he find a single photo. All he knew was that she was a woman who had just turned thirty.

"Dad," Fu Yunlei jumped onto his father, "Please don't treat my brother anymore. He's not sick. He can't speak, but he's very smart."

The little boy learned from the maid that Rong Bing had found another clinic, and she was going to take her younger brother there for treatment.

Rong Bing always said that her younger brother was saved, but there were so many bottles and jars on her brother's table. He took medicine like candy every day. He had many tubes inserted into his head when he was in the hospital, but his condition did not improve at all. He suspected that Rong Bing was deliberately harming her brother.

Fu Jingsheng stroked his chubby eldest son: "Good boy, Lei, Daddy is talking about something. Go play outside by yourself."

"Dad, Aunt Rongbing is mean. She always says she's found a good doctor, but my brother never gets better. I'm the older brother, I have to protect him. Nobody is allowed to take him away." Fu Yunlei cried, clinging to the table.

"Get out, I have something to do." Fu Jingsheng directed his anger at being rejected at his eldest son.

“I want my mom. Dad has Aunt Rongbing. Dad is just as bad as her. Aunt Rongbing will have many children in the future. They are the ones Dad loves the most. Dad doesn’t like me and my brother anymore. So he’s using the excuse of getting my brother medical treatment to send him away first. I want my mom.”

"Don't mention that woman." Fu Jingsheng almost shouted, his eyes stern as he looked at his eldest son.

Fu Yunlei was so frightened that he quickly shut up, but kept sobbing. Every time he mentioned his mother, his father would fly into a rage.

Hearing the shouts, the servants quickly carried Fu Yunlei out.

Looking at his son's small figure, Fu Jingsheng felt a pang of guilt. Seven years had passed, and she was still his taboo.

"Driver, prepare the car and take the young master to the clinic. The eldest young master of the Fu family will personally go and see if Dr. Song will see him." Fu Jingsheng had never asked anyone for a favor in his life, but his two sons were his most precious possessions.

——

In the clinic's records room, seven-year-old Rong Shiyu and Rong Shimo stood on skateboards, holding document bags and threatening each other.

Shen Xingzhi quickly stopped them: "My ancestors, please let me go!"

"Aunt Xingzhi, Mom said she would never treat other people again, why didn't she keep her word? We want her to stop immediately and go back to the hotel right away, or we'll tear all of this up." The little girl nimbly glided back and forth on the skateboard, and no one could catch her.

"Don't tear it, don't tear it!" Shen Xingzhi was so anxious that sweat was pouring down her forehead.

"I'll count to three."

"one."

"Alright, alright, I'll go get her to come over."

Rong Yan knew that if she said she was going to treat someone, her two little devils would definitely object. So she made an excuse to chat with the doctor and check the clinic's hygiene, and asked Shen Xingzhi to keep an eye on them. Unexpectedly, the woman was not paying attention and let the two children sneak into the records room.

"Let's go home, Dr. Song." Shen Xingzhi looked at Rong Yan with a lifeless expression.

"We've been discovered?"

"Yes, I'm in the archives preparing to tear up the documents."

Rong Yan quickly stood up, and the chair was pushed a meter away.

When Rong Shiyu saw her mother coming, she jumped off the skateboard, rushed over and hugged her waist: "Mom, come back to the hotel with us."

"Mom, why are you so disobedient? You can't treat other people's illnesses." Rong Shimo said in a mature manner. "Luckily, my sister and I are smart. We knew you were deliberately sending us away. You got caught, didn't you?"

"Mom, you're just recovering, you're not allowed to do that again."

"Who is the mother, anyway?" Rong Yan rolled her eyes.

"You, but Mom, Grandma said we have to keep an eye on you after we go back to China. We're leaving now, or I'll call Grandma and have her come to Tiancheng to take you back." The two children threatened, each holding one of Rong Yan's hands.

"Let's go, let's go, we'll take care of things here." Shen Xingzhi was afraid that the two little devils would really do something, so she grabbed Rong Yan's arm and chased her out.

——

On the first floor of the hospital, the butler, holding Fu Yunting, said arrogantly, "Look closely, this is the Fu family's most precious grandson."

Fu Jingsheng sat beside him, his hands in his pockets, not saying a word, but the cold aura emanating from him sent chills down one's spine.
