Rong Yan gasped, "Fu Jingsheng, are you crazy?"
The man tightened his grip on her, pressing his nose against her forehead: "I'm asking for your opinion. If you don't want to, we should just rest quietly."
Just as Rong Yan was about to answer, her phone rang.
The more Shen Xingzhi thought about it, the more she felt that the person Tang Wan described resembled a patient she had treated before. Because of the special circumstances, she remembered very clearly that she had specifically asked Rong Yan for her opinion before treating him and formulated a separate treatment plan.
She briefly explained the situation to Rong Yan, who remembered it, but she didn't know why Shen Xingzhi mentioned that person.
"Xingzhi, did something happen to that person?" Recently, whenever Rongyan heard about anything related to the clinic, her mind would automatically react that it was not a good thing.
"No, Tang Wan got hurt today. She said she was scratched by her friend's boyfriend..." Rong Yan extracted two key points from the large amount of information: Tang Wan had been taking leave all the time because of that friend, who had been tormented by her boyfriend for a long time but still refused to leave him.
Tang Wan wanted to help her friend, but her friend wouldn't listen to her advice. She didn't know what to do. She was a psychologist, yet she couldn't even cure her friend's mental illness.
“Is it possible that it’s not a psychological problem but a mental health issue?” Rong Yan blurted out. “They’re unwilling to accept treatment, and there’s nothing we can do about it. There’s no need for us to meddle.”
Rong Yan has indeed been meddling in too many other people's business these past few days, and she's quite tired.
"Well, I just wanted to confirm with you whether it's that person. Let's talk about something cheerful. Is Beicheng fun? I'm dying of heat in Tiancheng. I have to go to a free clinic tomorrow and get some sun."
"You've worked hard, President Shen. Beicheng is quite fun. You should take some time to relax and have a break too," Rong Yan said with a smile.
"Okay, I'll wait for you to come back." The two chatted for a bit and almost hung up.
Inside the hospital, Liang Jia was alone. Fearing that Lu Kai might cause trouble, the medical staff called security personnel to take Lu Kai out and forbade him from approaching the ward again.
The man sat in the car and texted Liang Jia, saying that he had acted impulsively again and that he wanted to see a doctor, the best psychologist.
He needs to receive treatment and have his brain checked. If he has mental problems, he will send himself to a mental hospital.
Mental hospital? Liang Jia was shocked when she saw those four words. Those kinds of places are almost impossible to leave once you go in. Even healthy people will get sick after going in.
Lu Kai was just emotionally unstable because his revenge failed, but he was mentally sound.
"Don't go," Liang Jia replied with two words.
"You finally replied! I knew you were still worried about me. Can you come down after you finish your IV drip? I'll wait for you by the roadside outside."
Liang Jia did not reply.
She saw that there was still more than half a bottle of water left in the IV drip, so she increased the flow rate herself.
Lu Kai has just realized his mistake; it was Tang Wan's "perverted" comment that made him lose his mind.
This time, it's not Lu Kai's fault; Liang Jia even wanted to apologize on Tang Wan's behalf.
Lu Kai waited for an hour before Liang Jia finally arrived. The woman walked unsteadily, as if she would collapse at the slightest breeze. He got out of the car to help her up.
Liang Jia sat next to Lu Kai. The man closed the car door, hugged her, and started to sob.
The woman wiped away his tears: "Sir, please don't cry."
Her voice was gentle as she comforted Lu Kai. Lu Kai cupped Liang Jia's face, bit her lips, sucked on them for a while, and then released her: "Jiajia, I know that you are the only one in this world who treats me normally. I swear I will never hurt you again. I will write a guarantee that if I hurt you again, you can just kill me."
Liang Jia and Lu Kai got together again. She called Tang Wan but found she had been blocked. Since she couldn't lose contact with the person she was trying to find out, Liang Jia planned to go to Tang Wan after being discharged from the hospital.
——
In Beicheng, Rong Yan sat on the swing on the second floor, pondering Shen Xingzhi's words, while Fu Jingsheng sat down next to her.
The woman told her husband about it.
Fu Jingsheng put his arm around Rong Yan's shoulder: "Don't think about it. Trust Shen Xingzhi. She can handle things on her own. When you were in H country, wasn't she the one who always managed things?"
Rong Yan rested her head on the man's shoulder: "Yes, maybe if I didn't interfere at all, things would go more smoothly for them."
"I don't want to think about it anymore." Fu Jingsheng gently pinched Rong Yan's nose. "Let's do something fun and have some fun."
The swing on the platform was surrounded by vines, making the two people feel as if they were in a garden.
Fu Jingsheng ran his fingers through Rong Yan's hair, then held them to his nose and smelled them: "It smells very good."
Rong Yan gripped the swing ropes, her upper body unconsciously leaning back in the chair: "Is Fu Jingsheng going to stay here?"
She looked around. Although there were no other buildings around and it was quite secluded, it wasn't good to stay outside all the time, especially since it was a swing.
"Hmm," the man murmured through his nose.
He picked up Rong Yan and sat her on his lap. The two faced each other, and the straddle position made the woman blush.
Fu Jingsheng leaned down and kissed the woman's earlobe, his palm covering the curves of her body, his fingertips gently kneading. Within two minutes, Rong Yan let out a moan, her hands climbing up the man's back to respond to his kiss.
The man's feet gripped the ground firmly, stabilizing the swaying swing, but he couldn't resist Rong Yan's return kiss. His scalp tingled, his legs wobbled, and the swing started moving.
Rong Yan felt dizzy from the shaking, and her body slid down, her heels supporting her on the ground: "Fu Jingsheng's swing lock is too nimble, let's go back to the room."
The man secured the swing's handrail and the ropes beside it: "I'll hold on."
"What kind of good person would be swinging on a swing?" Rong Yan gasped.
"It's not like it hasn't happened before. Have you forgotten about the hanging baskets at Yushui Bay?"
“It’s different from my own balcony.” Rong Yan tried to argue, but Fu Jingsheng pulled her up to his waist, leaving her legs dangling in the air.
"Let's try it here first, then change positions and go back to the room." Fu Jingsheng put one arm around Rong Yan. "Help me unbutton this."
Seeing that Rong Yan was not moving, the man picked her up and stood her up, leaning her against the wooden frame of the swing: "This way it won't sway."
Rong Yan hung on his waist with her feet on the swing. Fu Jingsheng kissed the woman's neck while taking off her clothes.
Sensing that Rong Yan was getting involved, he unzipped his pants and slowly slid them forward.
Afraid of falling, Rong Yan said in a trembling voice, "Fu Jingsheng, my hands are too weak. Let's go back to the swing."
He and she sat back down, Rong Yan leaning on the armrest on one side, with Fu Jingsheng pressed against her from behind.
The swing swayed from side to side.
Rong Yan tilted her head back, the sunlight shining on her face, and she quickly closed her eyes.
It felt wonderful, but being in the open, she was afraid that making too much noise would attract attention, so she bit her lip tightly, her face turning bright red.
A dozen minutes later, Fu Jingsheng picked her up and carried her back to the room.
The woman had a pillow under her waist. Fu Jingsheng held her ankles to one side, kissed her calf, and quickly reunited with her.
Rong Yan's voice became hoarse from shouting.
The man grew increasingly excited and pulled the woman up by her arms.
Rong Yan moved out of habit.
