Chapter 241 When people are well-fed and clothed, they think of lust.

Rong Yan took a deep breath to compose herself. In addition to the news, she also took screenshots of her call history for the day and the route she took to search for the old lady.

She wanted the old lady to know that everyone cared about her and that they had gone out to look for her.

Fu Jingsheng went to his grandmother's room. When the old lady saw her eldest grandson, her emotions, which had just calmed down, instantly surged again.

She muttered curses, "Are you checking if I'm dead or not?"

Fu Jingchen tugged at his grandmother's hand: "Grandma, speak properly. My brother has always been very filial to you. He called me this morning when he found you weren't home. He was very worried. Didn't I just show you the call log?"

"Hypocrite! You couldn't reach me by phone, so why don't you go out and look for me?" the old woman said smugly.

Fu Jingsheng pulled up a chair and sat down.

“Grandma, I told everyone not to look for her. You threw a tantrum and everyone stopped doing anything? Do you know how busy everyone is?” Fu Jingsheng said seriously.

When the old lady heard that her eldest grandson was leading the way in not looking for her, she gripped the armrest of her wheelchair and tried to get up.

"Grandma, don't get agitated." Fu Jingchen held her hand, afraid that the old lady would fall.

"Listen to him, is he even speaking human language? He told everyone not to look for me, that he'd been drugged, it was all Rong Yan's idea, wasn't it?" The old lady refused to believe that it was Fu Jingsheng's own idea.

"It has nothing to do with Rong Yan, but she insisted on looking for you." Fu Jingsheng hated it most when his grandmother blamed everything bad on Rong Yan.

Rong Yan, who had just reached the door, overheard the old lady's words.

The woman slowed her pace. Although she knew the old lady didn't like her, Rong Yan felt quite sad to hear her say those words.

Even though the old lady never treated her as her granddaughter-in-law and caused so much trouble, she still let her live in Yushui Bay. The peaceful days didn't last long before they started again.

Rong Yan pretended not to hear anything, knocked on the door and called out, "Grandma."

The old lady clearly didn't want to see Rong Yan. She rolled her eyes and said, "All of you are just being wise after the event."

Rong Yan did not argue. She came to the old lady to resolve the issue. If they started arguing and others laughed at her, the trouble would only escalate.

To prevent the old lady from thinking she was lying, Rong Yan asked Fu Jingsheng and Fu Jingchen to search for the name Rong Yan on their phones. All that came up were photos and videos of the old lady getting angry that night.

Fu Jingsheng clicked to play.

The old lady was dumbfounded. She could recognize her own voice. Who had recorded it and posted it online? It sounded like a shrew yelling in the street.

"Rong Yan, you actually secretly recorded a video and posted it online. Did you want me to lose face in public?" the old lady questioned Rong Yan.

Fu Jingsheng continued reading the comments, all accusing him and Rong Yan of being cruel. After reading more than a dozen, Fu Jingsheng clenched his fists. Some even cursed them, saying that they would be abused by their descendants when they grew old because of how they treated the elderly.

“Grandma, do you think we would do something that would cause heavy losses to both of us? We understand the principle of not airing our dirty laundry in public. How could we possibly record a video of an argument and post it online? Who took you away today? Were you being used by someone?” After reading the news, Fu Jingsheng became even more convinced that the old lady had not run away alone.

After he finished speaking, he looked at Fu Jingchen. What a coincidence that the old lady had Fu Jingchen take her home. Fu Jingchen himself had never left the company, but he could easily hire someone to do it.

Fu Jingchen understood what his brother meant, and he pointed to himself; "Brother, do you doubt me?"

“It has nothing to do with Jing Chen, he knows nothing about it.” The old lady explained on behalf of her grandson, “I just wanted to go out on my own, and I found someone to take me out. I don’t know that person, I paid him to do it.”

Fu Jingsheng was skeptical.

"Don't believe me?" The old lady glanced at Fu Jingsheng, her eyes full of doubt.

“I believe you,” Rong Yan replied. “Grandma, we can talk about things privately from now on. You can also tell me if you are not satisfied with anything I do. I will correct any mistakes I make. But can you please stop being so willful? The Fu family has just overcome a difficult period. You don’t want the company to have any more problems, right?”

Rong Yan explained patiently.

The old lady muttered to herself, "How dare I say that about you?"

After saying what she wanted to say, Rong Yan went upstairs, and Fu Jingsheng followed her.

Fu Jingchen pretended to say a few words in support of his brother and sister-in-law.

——

When Li Yun saw the news about the Fu family, a smile played on his lips. He took a screenshot and sent it to Lin Wei: "Another gift for you, do you like it?"

Lin Wei was having dinner with Guo An when she heard a message notification. Without making a sound, she opened it, zoomed in on the screenshot, and pretended it was a message pushed by a news website she followed.

The woman talked to Guo An about the news, and finally she deliberately frowned and spoke up for Fu Jingsheng: "Old Mrs. Fu is in the news again, but won't this affect the Fu family business? Is Fu Jingsheng really her grandson? I feel like this old lady is quite good at causing trouble, and she'll get Fu Jingsheng killed sooner or later."

Guo An took a sip of water and swallowed the food in his mouth: "That's right, everyone in the company is saying that the old lady isn't the boss's biological grandmother."

The man was a gossip.

Lin Wei secretly hoped that the Fu family would be thrown into chaos, but he had to express his sympathy for them.

After dinner, Guo An cleared away the dishes and sat on the balcony with Lin Wei to look at the stars.

The man had his arm around the woman's shoulder.

Lin Wei was afraid that Guo An would overthink things, so she quickly came up with a topic and said, "The starry sky is so beautiful tonight."

Guo An replied, "Not as beautiful as you." He slid his hand to Lin Wei's back, his head getting closer and closer to the woman.

"Guo An, look, that star is so bright." Lin Wei awkwardly started a conversation.

Guo An didn't even look at the electronic control panel; the saying "when you're well-fed and warm, you start thinking about lust" is absolutely true.

But Lin Wei was exhausted, and she still had hickeys on her body. What if Guo An saw them?

"Aren't you tired? It takes so much physical effort to be with me at night, and you still have to go to work during the day."

Guo An shook his head: "I was terrified when I couldn't find you today, Weiwei. I don't want to be separated from you for even a second. I mean, I want to stay together and never be apart. If I make you unable to get out of bed, will you stay home and rest?"

Lin Wei was shocked that Guo An actually had such an idea.

"I have important business to attend to. Didn't I tell you that my cousin's emotions are not very stable? He might go crazy again in the middle of the night. Are you trying to exhaust me?" Lin Wei once again used the fictitious cousin as a shield.

"I almost forgot, let's kiss." Guo An kissed Lin Wei's lips.

"You said you'd give me a kiss." Lin Wei leaned on the chair and responded to the man's kiss.

"Mmm, just one kiss, and one on the neck too." Guo An's lips slid down, and the woman let out a soft moan; she was instantly aroused.

Lin Wei climbed onto the man's neck with both hands, stretching her neck out, and Guo An's hands unconsciously began to unbutton the woman's shirt.

Feeling the cold fingers touch her warm skin, Lin Wei instantly snapped back to reality. She grabbed the man's hand and said, "No."

"I'll just touch it once."
