Chapter 347 Water Splashes Out of the Shower Room

Liang Jia's expression changed drastically; Rong Yan had actually come to her doorstep.

“Liang Jia.” Rong Yan walked up to the woman. “I’m not here as Fu Jingsheng’s wife, but as Dr. Song. Your condition…”

Liang Jia sneered inwardly. Was she here to pity her? Perhaps she could use this to lower Rong Yan's guard.

"Want to talk to me? Okay, please come in." Liang Jia let Rong Yan in.

Rong Yan was completely unprepared.

But as soon as she stepped into the courtyard, her hair stood on end. The neat paths, trees, stone tables, and benches in the courtyard were all black.

The courtyard looked quite large, but there were almost no flowers or plants inside. The two women were busy with their own things and seemed not to have seen her at all.

"Auntie, you can go out now. I'd like to talk to Dr. Song." The auntie only responded after Liang Jia spoke.

They walked out of the courtyard and closed the door.

"Dr. Song, it's just the two of us now, so just say what you want to say." Liang Jia was too lazy to beat around the bush with Rong Yan.

Rong Yan's goal was to elicit information, but she couldn't just start by asking Liang Jia questions. She planned to focus on Liang Jia's mental state today.

Liang Jia didn't expect that Rong Yan really only came to comfort her.

The two talked for an hour. Liang Jia waited for Rong Yan to get to the point, but she left immediately.

What kind of trick is this? Looking at Rong Yan's back, Liang Jia was a little confused.

She was even thinking about getting into a fight with the two of them so she would have a legitimate reason to beat up Rong Yan and scratch her face until it was bruised.

After Rong Yan left the residential area, the oppressive feeling finally disappeared.

Liang Jia's words hinted at violence, and even though she tried her best to hide it, Rong Yan still sensed something was wrong; she was definitely not as weak as she appeared.

Next time I come, I can't come alone.

——

Tiancheng Airport.

Han Yue is back. As soon as her daughter-in-law's video call ended yesterday, she booked the earliest flight.

My four grandsons are attending summer camp, and they'll be back soon.

After landing, Han Yue told Rong Yan that she was at the airport and had taken a taxi home by herself.

Rong Yan didn't expect her mother-in-law to be so quick; she booked a private room and invited her to dinner that evening.

Fu Jingsheng went to the new factory again in the morning. It had rained all night, and there was a lot of water at the entrance of the factory, making it full of potholes.

He took some photos and decided to hire some bricklayers to repair the road.

Upon entering, they discovered that the roof was also leaking. These problems needed to be resolved as soon as possible, and Fu Jingsheng spent the entire day at the factory.

Men busy with work have no time to look at their phones.

Rong Yan called Fu Jingsheng but he didn't answer. She sent him her location and a message: "Mom's back. Come here for dinner tonight."

Fu Jingsheng moved the wooden planks leaning against the wall with his bare hands and began cleaning.

He forgot to eat lunch, and it wasn't until the afternoon, when Fu Jingsheng was so thirsty that he looked for water and was about to order takeout, that he saw the missed calls and text messages.

He called his wife back, but his mother answered the phone instead.

Han Yue had the taxi driver take her directly to the clinic.

She brought the doctors some local specialties from the Summer Palace. After the driver helped unload the boxes from the car, Rong Yan asked the security guards to bring the items inside.

"Let's divide it up," Han Yue said, pointing to the box.

Then she took her daughter-in-law's arm and said, "Rongyan, let's go to your office. Mom brought you something too."

Han Yue got a jade Buddha for Rong Yan.

She had knelt for three days to beg for this, and she wanted to put it on her daughter-in-law as soon as possible.

After Han Yue finished explaining the origin of the jade Buddha, Rong Yan hugged her and said, "Thank you, Mom."

She took off her original necklace and put on the jade Buddha that her mother-in-law had brought back.

When Shen Xingzhi heard that Han Yue had arrived, she came over to greet her.

Unexpectedly, Han Yue also brought her a gift, a jade bracelet, which came from the same temple as Rong Yan's jade Buddha.

After thanking Han Yue, Shen Xingzhi's eyes instantly reddened.

"Auntie, you're so kind. How come I never meet a mother-in-law like you?" Her voice choked with emotion, startling Han Yue.

"Child, what's wrong?" Han Yue didn't know about Shen Xingzhi and Yu Wenhao's relationship and thought she had said something wrong, so she quickly handed Shen Xingzhi a tissue.

Shen Xingzhi had no plans for the afternoon and chatted with Han Yue.

Han Yue slammed her hand on the table, stood up, and unleashed a torrent of anger.

But soon, her gaze towards Shen Xingzhi softened considerably. She used her own experience to tell Shen Xingzhi that it was better to leave such a man behind, or she would suffer in the future.

Shen Xingzhi had made up her mind; she just needed someone to confide in.

She nodded vigorously.

That evening, Rong Yan brought Shen Xingzhi to dinner.

What was supposed to be a welcome dinner for Han Yue turned into a rant by Shen Xingzhi.

Before all the dishes were served, Shen Xingzhi got drunk again.

Fu Jingsheng was worried about Rong Yan, so he asked her to bring Shen Xingzhi back to Yushui Bay.

Having a nanny at home is always better than having Rongyan all by herself.

That night, Rong Yan made sure her best friend was asleep before returning to her own room.

Fu Jingsheng waited for a long time.

He patted the empty space on the bed: "Come here."

Rong Yan slowly moved over, and Fu Jingsheng pulled her into his arms, saying pitifully, "Wife, you're busier than me now. You're at the clinic during the day and you have to spend time with your friends at night."

"Look at you, so pathetic. Xingzhi doesn't always need me to accompany her. Can't you be a little more understanding?" Rongyan knew her husband was jealous.

“I understand, then let’s get this done quickly.” He took off his bathrobe.

The well-defined abdominal muscles stung Rong Yan's eyes. She had seen this body many times before, so why was she still attracted to it? Rong Yan thought that maybe she was a lustful woman deep down.

"I'll take a shower first," she said, swallowing hard.

“No need, I can’t wait any longer.” Fu Jingsheng put his arm around the woman’s shoulder. “I wasn’t home yesterday, and I haven’t seen you all day. I finally waited until evening, and I can’t even hug you downstairs. I don’t want to waste a single minute.” The man nibbled on Rong Yan’s ear.

How can someone with mild OCD tolerate doing it without showering?

Rong Yan struggled fiercely: "Fu Jingsheng, I'll just take a quick shower, otherwise I won't feel comfortable."

Fu Jingsheng knew his wife's habits, so he picked her up and said, "Then I'll help you wash."

The bathroom door was open.

Fu Jingsheng turned on the shower head in the center of the shower room, adjusted the water temperature, and fine water droplets fell on the woman's body.

He kissed the spot that had been washed first.

Rong Yan gripped the showerhead, then flinched.

"Turn around." The man applied some essential oil to Rong Yan's back, and Rong Yan obediently turned around.

Taking advantage of her unpreparedness, Fu Jingsheng pressed forward.

The woman's moans were drowned out by the sound of water.

I've been in the bathtub the last few times; it's been a long time since I've stood up.

The skin, coated with essential oil, was smooth and delicate. Fu Jingsheng gently stroked it from top to bottom with his fingers.

Rong Yan was so engrossed in the shower that she dropped the showerhead, causing water to splash out of the shower room.

After an unknown amount of time, Fu Jingsheng turned her around, holding her shoulders.

He lifted the woman up with his palm.

Her back rubbed against the wall, both painful and burning. She quickly wrapped her hands around Fu Jingsheng's waist to create some distance between herself and the wall, and said softly, "Husband, let's go to the bedroom."

The man casually grabbed a bath towel from the towel rack and wrapped it around his wife. He deliberately took two steps forward and one step back. Before he even reached the bed, he heard Rong Yan scream.
