Tianyi Mansion.
Han Yue had a meal with Zhao Wenbai and then went home.
Fu Jingsheng and the others weren't there, so Han Yue played with her grandson for a while.
Xu Nan looked at Han Yue with a heavy heart. Rong Yan told her not to let Han Yue know her identity for the time being, otherwise she would definitely ignore Zhao Wenbai and make Zhao Wenbai suspicious.
"Mother-in-law, what's wrong? You look so troubled," Han Yue asked, noticing Xu Nan's unusual expression.
Xu Nan laughed and said, "No way, I see you all having so much fun and are so happy. Yan Yan has finally seen the light at the end of the tunnel."
"Why haven't these two kids come home yet?" Xu Nan checked the time; it was already nine o'clock.
She was worried, so she called Rong Yan.
Inside the car.
Rong Yan countered Fu Jingsheng's question: "And you, would you love me to the point of madness?"
"You go first." Fu Jingsheng didn't answer either. He had been pursuing her for so long, did he really need to ask her such a question?
Rong Yan pursed her lips and remained silent.
Fu Jingsheng lifted Rong Yan up by the waist and placed her on his lap.
In the crowded carriage, the two people were pressed tightly together.
The phone rang.
Rong Yan glanced at her and saw that it was her adoptive mother.
She made a shushing gesture and pressed the answer button.
Fu Jingsheng's fingers suddenly slipped inside Rong Yan's clothes, feeling icy cold, and the woman instantly tensed up.
"Really?" the man asked in a low voice.
"Is Yan Yan back?" Xu Nan asked on the other end of the line.
Rong Yan's body was tense, and Fu Jingsheng's teasing made her feel numb all over.
"Yes, right away." She tried to keep her voice steady.
But Fu Jingsheng showed no intention of stopping.
"Okay." Xu Nan hung up the phone with relief.
Rong Yan sighed: "Fu Jingsheng, don't you feel ashamed?"
"Still not admitting it?" The man pretended not to hear, his fingers inside his clothes crawling up the protrusion and grinding it.
Rong Yan felt a chill run down her spine.
Fu Jingsheng pressed down suddenly, and she leaned back involuntarily.
But the man suddenly let go of the car door and sat in the front driver's seat.
He did it on purpose.
Rong Yan was completely stunned.
After all that flirting, he just left? What a bad man! Absolutely outrageously bad.
Rong Yan remained motionless for a long time, her eyes fixed on Fu Jingsheng.
He turned around with a wicked grin: "Still want to? Then tell me first if you'll love me to the point of madness."
Rong Yan got angry, sat up, buttoned her clothes, turned her head away, and said, "Fine, I won't do it then, but you dare to threaten me."
Love—after her failed confession in college, she never dared to say it again.
"Go home." The woman's tone was displeased. No matter how much Fu Jingsheng teased her, she just wouldn't say she loved him.
"Are you angry?" Seeing Rong Yan's thoughts, Fu Jingsheng chuckled inwardly. He started the car and stopped in a more secluded spot.
“That wasn’t safe just now. Let’s continue. I’ll satisfy you.” Fu Jingsheng reclined the driver’s seat and moved the passenger seat to the front.
He turned around, pulled Rong Yan, and made her sit on his lap.
Rong Yan feigned indifference: "I don't feel anything anymore."
"I have it. If I can flirt with you once, I can flirt with you countless times. Rong Yan, I love you, I love you to the point of madness." Fu Jingsheng finally admitted it first.
Rong Yan smiled faintly.
Fu Jingsheng pinched the woman's nape: "Turn around, with your back to me, and lean on the steering wheel."
Through the car's windshield, Rong Yan could clearly see the lights on the distant skyscrapers, which seemed like a completely different world from the construction site in front of her.
Rong Yan was somewhat dazed. She had thought that she would never cross paths with these people again in this life, but they had actually become inseparable again.
She could sense Fu Jingsheng's longing for her.
She and Fu Jingsheng were at a deserted construction site. According to Fu Jingsheng, it was a Fu family construction site, and it was very safe as no one was there.
Rong Yan cooperated with Fu Jingsheng.
The two collided, and a pain involuntarily welled up between her teeth.
The man held Rong Yan's waist: "Don't move, I'm afraid I'll hurt you."
Fu Jingsheng mastered the art of force.
We could only manage a quick fix on the bus.
Fu Jingsheng carried Rong Yan back to the passenger seat: "Let's go back and continue."
Fine beads of sweat appeared on Rong Yan's forehead; she was exhausted after half an hour.
The woman leaned back in her chair, panting.
Fu Jingsheng turned on the air conditioning, kissed the woman's forehead, and massaged her neck: "Am I being too much of a bother?"
He felt a pang of sympathy.
Rong Yan touched Fu Jingsheng's face: "It's alright. I also wanted to, but my physical strength couldn't keep up with my brain."
"I have to go on a business trip tomorrow." She has to go on a business trip again tomorrow. Does she have to be teased by Shen Xingzhi again with dark circles under her eyes?
Rong Yan recalled that she used to be full of energy every time she went to work, but recently, she has to rely on a cup of coffee to keep going after waking up in the morning.
It seems like the seven years I missed with Fu Jingsheng will be made up for in just one month.
"I'm also worried that you're working too hard. After all, there are only oxen that die from exhaustion, not fields that are over-plowed." Every time they work together, it's usually Fu Jingsheng who puts in the most effort.
"I'm not tired, I just want to lean on you. I promise I won't do anything inappropriate," Fu Jingsheng assured him.
Rong Yan always felt that it was impossible for the two of them to stay together quietly for one night.
Her voice was gentle as she coaxed Fu Jingsheng: "You still have a mission today. You need to go home and ask your aunt if Zhao Wenbai said anything to her tonight. Report back to me tomorrow."
Fu Jingsheng almost forgot about this.
After getting home in the evening.
The man breathed a sigh of relief after confirming that Zhao Wenbai hadn't recognized Rong Yan.
He stood on the bedroom balcony. The second floor of the villa next door was brightly lit. Rong Yan had said she was very tired, but she hadn't turned off the lights to go to sleep.
Fu Jingsheng wanted to go and take a look.
Thinking of the elevator he had worked on before the Lunar New Year, he was so angry that he returned it because Rong Yan went back to K country for the holiday.
If I had known to keep it, I could have built a bridge and gone to Rongyan's room right now.
He leaned on the railing and turned on a video call for Rong Yan.
Rong Yan had just finished showering; her hair was still wet, and water droplets were constantly dripping down.
She rested her phone against the mirror, the camera pointed at herself, and wrapped it in a towel.
"How is it?" Rong Yan asked.
Fu Jingsheng's Adam's apple bobbed up and down.
Water droplets clung to the woman's fair, angular shoulders. As she raised her arms and wrapped her hair, her collarbones were so deep they looked like they could hold fish.
The bath towel only covered her chest.
Fu Jingsheng was stunned.
"Fu Jingsheng?" Rong Yan called out.
Fu Jingsheng just wanted to get to Rong Yan's side as quickly as possible.
But fearing that the man might disagree, he said in a soft voice, "Yan Yan, I want to go over and tell you in person. Also, I feel uncomfortable. Just don't move. If it stays swollen, it will cause problems with your prostate."
"Although I don't want you to feel that every time we're together, it's just for that little thing, I could bring you some fruit, talk to you, or give you a massage," the man muttered to himself.
"Is it okay, Yan Yan?"
"I'm going on a business trip tomorrow, and I won't see you for several days."
Rong Yan turned on the standing hair dryer, but didn't quite hear what Fu Jingsheng said.
After removing her colored contact lenses, Rong Yan's vision became blurry, making it even harder to see the man's expression in the camera lens.
"I'm coming to find you now and tell you what's going on." Fu Jingsheng said it several times before Rong Yan finally heard him, but she only caught the last sentence and told him the situation in person.
"Okay, the door isn't locked yet. Xiao Lei and the others are already asleep. Be quiet when you come up."
