Xiangming left the mansion and searched several places, but couldn't find Zhang Jingwen. She was disheartened, wondering what the young master would do to her if she couldn't find her.
Feeling dejected, she stopped looking where she was going and walked until she realized she had walked into a dead end.
The dead-end alley was lined with dilapidated buildings, the walls covered with moss, and there was a lot of garbage nearby. It was obvious that the people living in the neighborhood had dumped their swill and garbage here for convenience. The air in the alley was not circulating and it smelled terrible.
Xiangming pinched her nose and turned away in disgust. As she turned her head, she inadvertently saw a familiar piece of clothing and quickly ran over to it.
Who else could it be but Zhang Jingwen?
Zhang Jingwen was lying unconscious in the garbage heap, her clothes disheveled, revealing many of her arms and legs, which were stained with blood. Her pretty face was also covered in blood and swelling.
"Miss..." Xiangming didn't have time to think, ignoring the stench of the trash, and quickly helped Zhang Jingwen up, patting her face and calling out, "Miss, Miss..."
"Ah!" After screaming for a long time, Zhang Jingwen finally woke up. Her sharp scream startled Xiangming, but Xiangming was still very happy to see that Zhang Jingwen was awake. She couldn't help but complain, "Miss, where did you go? What happened to you? Madam is waiting for you at home. We were all so worried!"
She tried to help Zhang Jingwen up, but to her surprise, Zhang Jingwen pushed her away as soon as she touched her, and Zhang Jingwen sat on the pile of garbage and backed away, shouting, "Who are you? Don't come any closer! Get away! Don't come any closer!"
"Miss, what's wrong? Don't you recognize me? I'm Xiangming!" Seeing Zhang Jingwen avoiding her, Xiangming took another step closer and squeezed Zhang Jingwen's hand. "You're injured. Let me take you home!"
"I don't know you, I'm hungry, I want to eat leg!" Zhang Jingwen suddenly burst into tears!
