"Liar!" the old woman scoffed. "Do you think I'm stupid? Would a cut from bumping into a table corner be this long and thin?"
"Really!" Bai Nuo grabbed the old woman's hand and shook it, changing the subject. "Grandma, do you live here permanently?"
The old woman countered, "Do you want me to live here permanently?"
Bai Yu nodded. "My sister and I both live here. If Grandma comes too, then our family can be together. There are many fun places in town, and I can even take you to see a play."
"You're still listening to opera!" the old woman said with a helpless smile. "If you don't do your homework, your sister will punish you!"
"Then I'll take you there after you've finished your homework!"
After Long Yi had moved all of Bai Nuo's furniture to the Bai family's gate, he stood there with Bai Nuo, looking somewhat uneasy. Bai Nuo noticed his worry and immediately said, "Uncle Long, I've moved to a new house, but I still really need someone here. I need you to help me find Pearl. If you're still willing to stay..."

"That's great!" Bai Nuo said with a smile. "Then, I'll give you an extra tael of pay. You and Uncle Long Er and Uncle Long San can just go and search for river clams every day. You won't have to work the night shift anymore."
The dragon nodded slightly.
"That's all for today!" Bai Nuo said. "Let's rest for a day and set off again tomorrow."
After Long Yi took his leave, Bai Nuo entered the room. The three old women who were sweeping and guarding the door looked at her anxiously.
They didn't speak, and Bai Nuo was too lazy to pay them any attention.
Seeing that Bai Nuo was ignoring them, one of them finally mustered up the courage to step forward and asked, "Miss, are we still serving in the middle courtyard?"
"The courtyard in the middle?"
"Yes, didn't the old lady move in today? We just wanted to ask if she needs anything."
"No need!" Bai Nuo said calmly. "You were sweeping before, and you're still sweeping now. Just sweep the other rooms in the old lady's courtyard for the next few days. You don't need to worry about anything else."
