"How dare you ask me?" Hu Ziyao strode up, looking at the room full of rewards, she was so jealous she was about to spit fire. She had never received any rewards from the palace, even though she was the richest woman in the country and her father had countless silver. How did this village girl get them?
Driven mad with jealousy, she kicked the box, but Bai Nuo hadn't even taken everything out yet, so she couldn't possibly move it. Instead, it made a loud bang as if she had broken her foot.
"Does it hurt?" Bai Nuo asked calmly.
"I don't need your fake kindness!" Hu Ziyao said angrily. "I'm asking you, why did you treat Fourth Brother like that!"
So that's why they came for the fourth brother!
“It was your brother who broke into my room and tried to assault me. Isn’t it normal for me to treat him like this? Besides, I don’t even know him. He deserved it!”
"You have such a vicious heart! How could my second brother have chosen a woman like you!" Without thinking, Hu Ziyao slapped him across the face.
Bai Nuo is an adult, and has never been slapped in the face before. What is this little girl? So he grabbed Hu Ziyao's hand. Hu Ziyao struggled desperately, but couldn't break free. "Let go!"
“Okay, I’ll release it!” Bai Nuo suddenly said softly.
Before Hu Ziyao knew what was going on with Bai Nuo, she saw Bai Nuo let go of her hand and then fall backward, landing on the ground.
"You deserve it!" Hu Ziyao laughed as Bai Nuo fell. "I hope you drop the baby in your belly too. How could someone like you be worthy of carrying my second brother's child!"
This child keeps mentioning "my second brother," it seems he really likes Hu Mingmei.
But before she could finish celebrating, Madam Zheng's angry voice rang out behind her, "Yao'er, what are you doing?"
