Just as she stepped out of the outer room, Peony came in with a candle. "Madam, you're awake?"
Bai Nuo asked sleepily, "What time is it? Why is it so noisy outside?" There were shadowy figures moving outside the window, it seemed that Mudan and Granny Wang were arguing with someone.
"It's just past midnight, Madam, please don't worry about it. Go to sleep. It's just Huang Ziyao refusing to move out and making a fuss outside. We'll handle it!"
Bai Nuo heard the commotion outside getting louder and louder, so she said, "I'll go out and take a look, but don't wake up Second Master!"
Peony obeyed Bai Nuo's every word, and upon hearing her say that, she immediately took a lantern and led the way for Bai Nuo.
As soon as Huang Ziyao saw Hu Mingmei's door open, she immediately went to greet him, but she didn't expect it to be Bai Nuo. Her face immediately fell. "Where's Second Brother? I want to see him!"
Bai Nuo said calmly, "Your second brother is sleeping. Tell me what's wrong!"
"I don't care, I just want to see my second brother!" Huang Ziyao said, and rushed inside. "I want to ask him why he locked up Grandpa, Grandma, and Mom and Dad, and why he made my fourth brother and I move out!"
Bai Nuo reached out and stopped her, saying calmly, "Because you are surnamed Huang and your second brother is surnamed Hu, we are taking back everything your second brother gave you!"
Huang Ziyao shook her head in disbelief as if she had heard something incredible. "Impossible! Second Brother wouldn't do this to us. We're his family!"
Bai Nuo curled the corners of his lips and looked coldly at Huang Ziyao, "It seems you're not surprised at all by your surname. Since you know, you should know that you're just an illegitimate son. You've been stealing Hu Mingmei's time for the past ten years. Right now, he's being polite to you because of your blood relation. But I'm different. I advise you to move out obediently. You can still live in this mansion and with your parents. If you make a fuss and wake him up, I'll sell you immediately!"
