"You eat..."
When Jiang Wei saw him coming over, she gripped her clothes so tightly they were almost torn apart, but she still tried to appear calm. She planned to get up when he sat down, not wanting to provoke him and risk him using force.
If he forces himself on her, she will have nowhere to escape.
She was afraid she couldn't get too close to him. But then the bandit walked towards her, smiling at her the whole time.
The laughter sent chills down her spine, and Jiang Wei stood up and backed away.
"I'll let you eat slowly."
The second-in-command laughed even louder.
The bandits on night watch outside also laughed.
"The second-in-command is quite lucky with women tonight."
Hahahahahahaha
Inside the house, the second-in-command was not in a hurry, following closely behind Jiang Wei's steps.
"Didn't you just agree to let me come over for dinner? Why are you running away now?"
Jiang Wei thought to herself that she couldn't avoid it. She reached for her sword but realized that she had forgotten to grab it because she was too nervous. Now the sword was far away from her.
She quickly looked around to see if there was anything nearby that she could use as a weapon.
Jiang Wei had to keep the bandits at bay while searching for weapons.
The second-in-command saw it all but didn't take it seriously, watching Jiang Wei's panicked state like a cat playing with a mouse.
Jiang Wei finally found a wine jar and held it in her arms, wanting to negotiate with him.
But the second-in-command wasn't listening; he simply repeated, "Now it's my turn to eat."
He then rushed over and picked Jiang Wei up.
Jiang Wei hit him with the wine jar in her hand, as if she were tickling him.
The second-in-command held Jiang Wei in his arms and walked to the bedside. "My lady, tonight I will let you taste the joy of being a woman. From now on, I will cherish you more."
Jiang Wei was thrown onto the bed by him, cowering in fear. "Let me go, I'll give you as much money as you want, I'll give you all my shops and estates, you should know how much dowry I have."
"Your act of robbery is a violation of the law. If you release me, everything I give you will be given voluntarily. You can live a life of luxury without ever having to live in fear."
Jiang Wei desperately tried to use money to make deals with him, hoping to sway him.
Unexpectedly, he joked, "If I marry you, I'll be the grandson-in-law of the richest man. What wouldn't I want? On the contrary, I can't accept these empty promises you've made to me."
As he spoke, he took off his clothes.
After throwing off his coat, he couldn't wait to pounce on Jiang Wei.
"My dear wife, I will cherish you tonight and make you crave more."
Jiang Wei kept retreating until she had nowhere left to go. "Please, please let me go. If you're willing to let me go, I'll agree to any of your conditions. Otherwise, I will never let you go, and it will be a fight to the death."
Jiang Wei struggled desperately.
The second-in-command looked at Jiang Wei with longing eyes and a delicate, helpless expression, and his affection for her became even more irresistible.
He grabbed Jiang Wei's ankle and dragged her to the bedside. "You're saying no now because you haven't tasted it yet. Don't come crying and begging me to hurry up, hurry up..."
This bandit speaks in extremely vulgar language.
Jiang Wei's hand touched something cold, and without thinking, she picked it up and smashed it over the second-in-command's head.
A broken wine bottle lay on the bed, and blood streamed down the second-in-command's face.
He wiped the blood from his face, pulled back the blanket, and threw Jiang Wei over.
Then he threw the glass with broken bottles on the ground, saying, "Gentle yet fierce, I like it even more."
He pounced on Jiang Wei's body, pinning her down.
Jiang Wei moved around recklessly, attacking the second-in-command haphazardly, using both hands and feet.
The second-in-command couldn't stand her tormenting him, so he straightened her legs and pressed them down with his own.
He then raised Jiang Wei's hands above her head, pressed them down with one hand, and was about to take off her clothes.
With a 'bang!', the door was kicked open, and Xiao Zhan walked in from outside, bringing with him a chill, appearing here suddenly like a celestial being from another world.
Xiao Zhan pulled the bandit away and slammed him to the ground.
He said softly, "It's me! Xiao Zhan."
He gently lifted Jiang Wei from the bed and pulled her into his arms.
"It's alright, it's alright, I'm here, I'm here." He coaxed her like a child, trying to comfort her.
The bandit scrambled to his feet, grabbed a nearby rack, and was about to attack Xiao Zhan when he shouted, "You dare to try and steal my wife? You're asking for death!"
Before the bandits could even get close to him, Xiao Zhan gave him a sharp look.
Xiao Zhan buried Jiang Wei's head in his arms, wrapped her in his cloak, and then protected the back of her head with one hand.
Xiao Zhan picked up the broken pieces left by the bed and threw them at the second-in-command's neck.
In just a moment, the second-in-command fell straight backward, blood gushing from his neck.
He stared at Jiang Wei and Xiao Zhan with his eyes wide open, then fell to the ground with his eyes wide open in death, his body twitching a few times.
Xiao Zhan picked up Jiang Wei and said, "Don't be afraid, I'll take you home."
He comforted her and walked outside, then kicked the second-in-command hard when he got to him.
"Anyone who resists will be killed without mercy," Xiao Zhan ordered from the doorway.
"Yes." When Xin Si arrived, he had already surrounded the area with his men.
Xiao Zhan carried Jiang Wei to a clean room and put her down to sit.
He took off his cloak and draped it over Jiang Wei.
Xiao Zhan used to dislike wearing cloaks. He preferred to feel the chill of the world rather than wrap himself in warmth.
He was afraid...
After returning to Kyoto, he was worried that Jiang Wei would be cold, so he would always put on a cloak so that he could give it to her when she needed it.
