Jiang Rou was furious when she heard her younger brother say that. "What did you say? You call her 'elder sister'? Our mother is being tortured to death by her. Don't you have a heart?"
Jiang Rou looked up at the sky and told herself not to argue with him for now; she should focus on causing trouble for Jiang Wei.
"Jiang Wei, you must fetch a doctor for my mother today, and also find the person who took care of her before, and bring them back to continue caring for her," Jiang Rou ordered Jiang Wei.
Jiang Wei stood at the head of the table, a meaningful smile curving her lips.
"I'm just letting her taste the bitter fruit of her past misdeeds. People are bound to be punished for their mistakes, aren't they? She's only just begun, don't be so anxious. Since you're so filial, why don't you go and take care of her yourself? That way, you won't let your relationship with your daughter go to waste!"
Jiang Rou noticed that there were two people standing behind Jiang Wei, staring at her intently, as if they would beat her up if she dared to lay a finger on Jiang Wei.
Jiang Wen, in particular, was fuming, as if he were scolding her with his eyes.
Jiang Rou called out to Jiang Yang; she also had a younger brother.
Jiang Yang huddled in the crowd, hoping to be forgotten by Jiang Wei, but his sister just wouldn't let him go.
Seeing that he didn't move, Jiang Rou said, "Your mother and sister are being bullied to death. Why don't you come and help me?"
Left with no other choice, Jiang Yang slowly walked to Jiang Rou's side.
Jiang Rou was relieved; after all, it was her younger brother who would stand by her side.
Unexpectedly, Jiang Yang told Jiang Rou not to argue with Jiang Wei and even asked her to apologize to Jiang Wei.
Jiang Rou was furious.
Jiang Wei looked coldly at the person below her, then suddenly spoke to Jiang Yang, "Since you don't like studying, then don't go. I'll give you the tuition fees you save so you can spend them however you like."
Jiang Yang pointed to himself and asked Jiang Wei with a puzzled look, "Is elder sister talking about me?"
