Chapter 235 Coincidence

Shi Jinzhe meant what he said; when he said he'd wash his tail, he really meant he'd just wash his tail.

In the reasonably spacious bathroom, he first rinsed his tail with clean water, then rubbed it with foam, rinsed it twice, and finally purified it with his skill.

Shekh sat in the round bathtub, its tail drooping outside, and through the swirling mist, it seemed to be grooming its scales piece by piece.

"Are you planning to keep me washing clothes until next year?"

"Although there are protective formations in the game, you're so clean-loving. Fighting right next to that rotten flesh, I'm afraid you'll feel uncomfortable if I don't do it carefully."

Shi Jin spoke with his back bent, carrying part of a snake's tail on his shoulder. The wet tail soaked his clothes, making them sticky and clinging to his body.

Finding it inconvenient that his clothes clung tightly to his body when he raised his arms, he patted Shekh's tail and said, "Put them down first, I'll take off my wet clothes."

Shekh put his tail on the tile floor, and when he looked at it, he took off his shirt and then wrapped it back up.

After washing a portion of its long tail, I would lower it a little further down, and by the end, it was so long that many red marks were left on its shoulders from the repeated washing.

His hand rested on the edge of the bathtub: "Should I help you wash the rest of the way up, or will you wash yourself?"

Schech crossed his arms and rested his head on the edge of the bathtub. "You."

Why should she do it herself when someone else does it for her and serves her comfortably?

The water in the bathtub quickly rippled, and Shi Jinzhe knelt on one knee on the ground, his body separated from Shehe's by a bathtub's distance.

The light shone on her wet hair, with a few wavy strands clinging to her temples, and Shekh's attention was gradually drawn to the water.

The hand beneath the water pressed down on the scales, its knuckles bent, grinding heavily against them, its movements incredibly slow.

Shekh watched for a while, then turned his head to look at Shi Jinzhe. His expression remained unchanged, only his previous attempts to chat with her had turned into a restrained silence.

Gradually, with each kneading and rolling, her snake tail would uncontrollably tighten, and her parted red lips would tremble at the same frequency as her snake tail. When she pursed her lips, the blood color would fade to the lip line, and when she opened them, the crimson color would return. Her moist lips would bounce against each other, leaving only the sound of uneven breathing.

Amidst the rising steam, Shi Jinzhe heard her voice, turned his head, and silently met Shehe's gaze.

Once a person is triggered to have specific thoughts by something, unbearable imaginations will grow wildly like a virus.

He had already memorized those unforgettable eyes and knew that Sheikh must be staring at him with his eyes half-closed.

She never hid her reactions; the bodily signals she sent back were like keys to unlock his limits, constantly shaping his thoughts and ideas.

Shi Jin leaned forward, wanting to get closer to her, with only a thin line separating their bare upper bodies.

In the quiet bathroom, the hand that had been kneading the snake's tail lay flat underwater, its palm pressed against Sheh's skin, then broke the surface tension and pushed upwards, making her body seem to float in the ocean, rippling like waves.

Scherhe leaned up following the sliding motion, tilted his head back slightly, and put his arm on Shi Jinzhe's shoulder.

The steam reduced the resistance when their skin touched, and her arms slid down until her upper body was leaning against the edge of the bathtub. Her hands slipped through the gap between her arms and torso, embracing him from a distance.

The slender, forked whiskers licked across his Adam's apple. Shekh then clasped both of Shi Jinzhe's hands behind his back and locked them tightly with the tip of his tail.

Shi Jinzhe tried to pull his hand away, but couldn't: "I never did any of that to you. Where did you learn that?"

"Movie."

"name."

"Submission".

Shekh raised his head and, without any gentleness, turned Shi Jinzhe's head back to its normal position.

The tinkling sound echoed in the bathroom. It was unclear when Sher had made the necklace or when it had been worn by him.

The swaying bell shattered reason, stirring the mind into chaos, leaving one's heart burning with rage.

The water dripping from Shekh's body fell into the hollow of his collarbone and was dried by the heat.

The snake's tail that was hanging outside transformed into legs, which she released and folded as she pulled him into the bathtub: "Come here with me."

Shi Jinzhe didn't hear what she said at all; he only knew that he did whatever she told him to do.

A night passed, without rest or sleep.

Even Shi Jinzhe clearly remembers what time he fell asleep.

When I woke up, it was dark again.

He sat up in bed and sighed to himself, "So this is the benefit of unlocking skills."

He picked up his phone from the floor and skillfully ordered food, but then his other arm stretched out from under the covers, blocking the phone screen.

"Let's go out to eat," Sheikh said, leaning closer. "I want to get some fresh air."

"Let's go out to eat then."

Shi Jinzhe got up and waited for Shehe to finish dawdling before finally leaving the house at almost nine o'clock.

When they entered the elevator, the two saw that all the buttons from the basement to the 28th floor were lit up, and two mischievous kids were pressing them from inside to outside.

There are three elevators, and each one stops at a different floor, making a constant, loud noise.

"Come and catch me! Let's see who's faster!"

"Coward, don't be afraid. Turn on all the lights and shout loudly, make sure the hallway lights are on too."

Shech moved a little further away from the elevator: "Don't their parents know this building is haunted?"

Shi Jinzhe: "I'm not quite sure. The apartment on the artificial island is almost finished, and we won't be living here anymore. Since we don't have elevator cards here, we can't completely prevent this kind of situation. If we are long-term residents, we will definitely encounter this many more times."

"It's so noisy."

"Then we won't be back tonight. We'll go back to the Cheng family's house and stay there for a few days."

Shekh thought about it and realized that this was the only way, so he didn't say anything more.

Human babies are such a hassle; they're nowhere near as good as wild animals that can run away as soon as they're born.

The two mischievous kids were really annoying, constantly causing trouble, like playing whack-a-mole. Every time they squeezed in before the door opened, they almost bumped into someone.

When they reached the 12th floor, the older one sprinted down the stairs and rushed in at the last minute before the doors closed.

The eleven or twelve-year-old boy almost bumped into Shekh this time, but fortunately Shi Jinzhe pressed down on his shoulder and brought the car to a sudden stop.

The boy didn't care, shook off Shi Jin's broken hand, laughed and frantically pressed the button for the eleventh floor, preparing to go down to the next floor and race his friends to see who was faster.

But suddenly all the lights in the elevator went out, plunging us into darkness.

At that moment, the boy suddenly remembered the ghost stories he had heard from his parents and panicked.

He desperately wanted to seek a sense of security from the two adults he had seen in the elevator.

In the enclosed, deep space, Sheh and Shi Jinzhe's eyesight remained unaffected as they shifted positions to avoid the child's groping.

Shekh leaned down slightly and gently warned the child, who was on the verge of tears:

"Tell your parents that I'm coming down from the 18th floor to find you tonight, so make sure they keep a close eye on you."

...

"A ghost!!"

With a scream, the elevator lights came on, and Sher and Shi Jinzhe stood at the very beginning, their expressions unchanged.

The boy dashed out the moment the elevator doors opened, not even noticing the people at the door.

To avoid him, the auntie on the twelfth floor spun around in place with her trash in her hand, almost throwing it out.

After a long pause, she exclaimed twice, "It must be that kid from the new family who moved in. He's always so loud and boisterous, and his parents don't seem to care. Is he in such a hurry to be reborn?"

Shi Jinzhe reached out to hold the closing elevator door for her and gave her a brief greeting.

The aunt was still as enthusiastic as ever when she saw the two of them, talking non-stop until she left after they went down to the first floor.

Once inside the car, Shi Jin asked Shehe, "Did you cause the elevator malfunction earlier?"

"No, it really broke a little. I just took advantage of the free opportunity to scare him."

"What if there hadn't been this coincidence?"

"Then I'll break the elevator to scare him."
