"Are you ready?" Ancient One asked, looking at Gael, who was also sitting cross-legged opposite her.
Gel calmed himself down, then nodded and looked at the Ancient One seriously, saying, "I'm ready."
In the dimly lit room, the Ancient One formed a hand seal, and with a surge of magical energy, the Eye of Agamotto on the table slowly opened, revealing a gem radiating green light.
"I'll remind you one last time: the Time Stone is a vital weapon for the Sorcerer Supreme to resist the forces of darkness. If anything happens to you while you're absorbing the Time Stone, I will cut off its energy supply immediately. Do you understand?" The Ancient One looked directly into Gale's eyes and said, word by word.
For the Sorcerer Supreme, nothing is more important than resisting the invasion of dark forces!
Gel looked at the Ancient One, nodded emphatically, then turned his head, took a deep breath, and raised his right hand.
Wisps of gray mist surged toward the Eye of Agamotto. The instant they touched the Time Stone, a dazzling green light shone within the house. The already dim sunset paled in comparison to this light, and Gale's body floated up, enveloped in the green light.
Even under such intense light, the Ancient One stared at Gel with her eyes wide open, seemingly unaffected by the light. After a moment, the Ancient One let out a low sigh: "I hope my decision will not bring greater disaster to this world."
Then, the Ancient One withdrew her gaze, closed her eyes, and began to meditate.
After a moment of disorientation, Ger regained his senses and began to observe the changes within his body. Perhaps because his magical abilities were stronger than before, Ger was able to sense more clearly the changes in his energy and body resulting from this transformation.
After the Time Stone's energy was absorbed by the Chaos Magic, the Chaos Magic within his body didn't increase much; instead, it seemed to be "activated," becoming even more vibrant. At the same time, the Chaos Magic began to nourish his body, causing it to develop in a better direction.
The moment the energy erupted, the sorcerers outside who were cultivating all stopped what they were doing and looked in shock towards the room where the Ancient One and the others were, wondering what had happened.
In the past, the Ancient One would only unleash her full power when dark forces invaded.
But the arrival of dark forces always leaves traces, and they could not sense the presence of dark forces in their surroundings.
The many sorcerers whispered among themselves for a moment, but could not reach any conclusion, so they continued their training. Only Kaecilius, locked in the punishment room, looked in the direction of the energy burst and roared, "Why won't you teach me this power? Ancient One, I know you have withheld a lot of knowledge from us."
The energy burst in the room lasted for a full ten days, and the intensity of the energy burst showed no signs of weakening. On the contrary, it gradually increased over time!
Even the sorcerers were secretly alarmed just by sensing it from afar, but the Ancient One had given orders from the beginning not to approach the room, so no sorcerer would dare to sneak in and investigate what was happening inside.
Meanwhile, Gel, floating in mid-air, was utterly bored.
As before, all nearby food and water were devoured by time energy. Gel could neither eat nor drink, and could only practice the hand seals of the Mirror Space magic over and over again. In fact, because the surrounding area was filled with dense time magic energy, the Mirror Space magic was completely impossible to cast, and he could only imagine whether he could succeed.
On such a boring day, a phone call caught Geer's attention.
Gel used magic to sense the phone about twenty meters away and discovered that the number on it was Tony's. Puzzled, Gel answered the phone.
"Hey, Gel, I have some great news and some great bad news. Which do you want to hear first?" Tony frowned as he listened to the continuous, eerie static on the other end of the phone. "It sounds like you're at a construction site. Are you secretly working as a contractor?"
Typical Tony humor.
"I have something to do here, and it's a bit noisy around here." Gel couldn't very well say that the cell phone signal was affected by the Time Stone, which was why the signal was bad. Even he had to use magic to transmit his voice to the vicinity of the phone from a distance of more than ten meters in order to continue the conversation. "But can you stop being so mysterious? Boss, please just tell me the good news and the bad news all at once."
Tony sat in his old car, looking at the message on his computer screen: "Ivan and Dr. Kurt have been rescued again."
Why say "again"? Because when Ivan was in prison, it was Hammer who sent people to rescue him.
“I remember they were both imprisoned in the most heavily guarded raft prison, right? Did S.H.I.E.L.D. get raided?” Gel instinctively felt something was wrong. Gel vividly remembered that this raft prison was located in the middle of a turbulent sea, and no one except S.H.I.E.L.D. knew its exact location.
Even if people find out, it will be difficult to rescue the prisoners inside.
“According to the information I have, they were rescued by a mysterious figure while being escorted out of the Raft Prison by S.H.I.E.L.D..” Tony raised a glass of red wine, took a sip, and continued without waiting for Gel to ask any questions. “As for why they were released from the Raft Prison, it’s because Director Nick Fury wanted to use the two of them to develop high-tech weapons. But he didn’t expect that, bam, it would backfire.”
Gel sighed helplessly—Nick, as the director of S.H.I.E.L.D., never trusted anyone but the power he held in his hands. Moreover, his vigilance against unknown threats was absurdly high, so it was not surprising that he did something like this.
