Outside a large, secret military base in the suburbs of New York City.
“Chief Nick, I’m outside. You’re in the building in the very center, right?” From his car, Ger dialed the number Chief Nick had given him.
Director Nick, holding binoculars and looking towards the entrance, nodded: "Yes, I'm in the central building. You can come in alone in five minutes."
The two only said this one sentence before hanging up the phone.
Director Nick turned to Natasha beside him and said, "Tell them the military exercise has officially begun. All means are permitted except for rockets and higher-level weapons of mass destruction."
Natasha nodded, then glanced at a secluded spot. There, a person carrying a quiver walked out.
Five minutes later, a car slowly started and drove toward the gate of the military base.
"Hello, please show your identification." The guard asked Ger for his identification as usual.
Without making a sound, Ger used his mind magic and then handed a white card to the guard.
Just as the white card was placed on the corresponding sensing device, an officer's information automatically appeared on the guard's computer. In less than a second, the photo corresponding to that officer's information changed to a photo of Gel, and the guard who had been watching all of this made no reaction.
Of course, this change isn't limited to the computers here; it also includes the central server that records all officers' identification information. In other words, no matter who searches or where, the officer's photo will always be Ger's photo!
At the same time, the white card changed rapidly at a speed visible to the naked eye, transforming into a blue identity card with Gel's photo in just one second.
Throughout the entire process, the guards did not notice anything amiss, and simply smiled as they returned the card: "Respected Colonel Claire, please keep your identification card safe."
Ger put away the card, drove the vehicle, and followed the direction of the arrows to the parking garage. With a "beep," the verification was successful, the parking garage door opened, and Ger drove the car out.
Upstairs in the distance, Chief Nick asked Natasha in surprise, "Whose identity information is he using?"
He originally thought that Gel had only used mind magic to confuse the guards, but to his surprise, the verification information for the parking garage was also successfully verified!
Natasha's fingers flew across the keyboard as she turned the computer toward Director Nick.
Director Nick stared wide-eyed as he looked at the photo of Colonel Claire, whom he had met a few times, now replaced by Gel: "How is this possible?"
Just now, Gel didn't even touch the computer!
Did Geer prepare this identity information last night?
But after reviewing the security footage from the guard room, Chief Nick denied this deduction: he watched as Claire's photo on the computer screen changed to Gel's photo, and even the white card transformed into an officer's ID card out of thin air.
Even Natasha, who had experienced all sorts of outrageous events, looked at Director Nick in disbelief: What a terrifying ability this was.
After parking his car, Geer took the elevator to the ground floor.
The moment the elevator doors opened, Ger found himself surrounded by a group of armed soldiers. The officer in the lead shouted across the room, "You are suspected of impersonating someone else. Please put your hands behind your head and cooperate with our investigation."
Looking at the scene, Gel knew that it must have been Director Nick who had intervened, because the identity information he had just used would not have been overlooked and discovered.
The ability he just used is one of the most powerful abilities of chaos magic—modifying reality! This ability is similar to "words becoming law." Things will automatically change according to his will. For example, just now, even though he wasn't particularly knowledgeable about coding, he issued commands to change information and his identity card using chaos magic, and even the computer code was automatically rewritten.
Of course, with his current magical abilities, he can only alter the reality of very minor events.
Ger didn't listen to the officer and took a step forward. The officer intimidated him by lowering his gun, pointing it at Ger's feet, and pulling the trigger.
With a "click," the experienced officer immediately sensed something was wrong with the gun as soon as the trigger was pulled and threw it away.
"boom!"
After being thrown, the gun immediately exploded, sparks flying everywhere.
Seeing that Ger was still advancing, the officer immediately gave the order: "Fire!"
"Ta-da!"
Most of the guns' magazines would fall to the ground before the soldiers could even pull the trigger, and only a small number of soldiers actually fired a bullet.
Ger waved his hand, and all the bullets that were flying towards him changed direction and shot into the sky.
"Buzz!"
A whooshing sound filled the air. Ger looked up and saw several helicopters approaching from the sky. In the distance, a large number of soldiers, some carrying rifles and others driving tanks, were also rapidly approaching!
Gel simply walked slowly, waved his right hand, and the plane's windshield shattered automatically, from which the pilot flew straight out.
The out-of-control planes, under Ger's control, all crashed into the running soldiers.
"Get out of the way!"
The officer, seeing the planes falling from the sky, immediately shouted. The soldiers scattered and fled. With a loud crash, several planes slammed into the ground, their wings spinning as they repeatedly struck the earth, igniting the leaking engine oil.
Moments later, an explosion occurred in the area where the planes were located.
