Chapter Ten: An Encounter with Iron Man

The three of them hovered high in the air, looking down at the brightly lit city.

They had never flown so high on their own before, nor had they ever looked at the city from this angle with such ease; the feeling was truly wonderful.

A few minutes later, Ger once again led the two of them eastward, their speed increasing.

That's our school!

"That's S.H.I.E.L.D.!"

"That's the New York Bridge!"

Pietro looked at the various buildings below, carefully identifying each one, while Wanda was also very excited.

Previously, although Ger and Wanda could float in the air briefly, they didn't fly very high or for very long, so it couldn't really be called flying. Therefore, after only a few times with Pietro, Pietro got tired of "floating."

But now, Geer can actually fly in the sky for a long time without any tools, and this feeling of freedom is truly intoxicating!

After showing the two around for a full two hours, the three of them finally returned home.

"My abilities have increased by more than five times! Whether it's physical fitness, flight ability, or the amount of objects I can control, there have been significant improvements. Most importantly, I've gained a life-saving skill: spatial teleportation!" As for mind magic, Ger didn't test it, but it should have increased by more than five times as well.

The determination of mental magic abilities is complex.

For example, taking mind control of ordinary people as an example, if you only control them to do small things, then controlling them for a few hours or even a few days is no problem. But if you control them to do something that will cause them to react strongly, mind magic will easily fail. This is especially true when facing agents with strong wills. Last time, when he controlled Hawkeye to shoot an arrow at Natasha, Hawkeye immediately sensed something was wrong and used his consciousness to resist the invasion of mind magic after shooting the arrow.

To achieve the same ability as Thor in the movies, one would probably need to develop the Mind Stone or "go into overdrive" several more times.

Unfortunately, the newly emerged spatial teleportation ability has a significant drawback: opening the portal requires a buffer time of more than one second, making it virtually unusable for combat.

Wanda, still savoring the flight, eagerly asked Gel, "Brother, when can Pietro and I go over there to have the Tesseract modified?"

Then Ger remembered that Natasha was still in the underground space. He quickly told the two of them to wait for his news, then opened a portal and returned to the underground space.

After promising to take her to experience space teleportation more often next time, Natasha put away her "resentful" gaze and took Gel to find Director Nick.

In the end, Ger traded two favors for the opportunity to reform Pietro and Wanda.

Looking at Pietro and Wanda floating in mid-air in the underground space, Natasha handed Gel an invitation card: "The Stark Industries Fair is finally reopening after many years. It's in a week. Are you going?"

Seeing Natasha's intense gaze, Ger could only smile and accept the invitation: "Of course I'll go when a beauty invites me."

The next morning, Ge'er was sound asleep when he was woken up by a phone call.

"Peter, it's the weekend. You'd better have something to say to me so early," Gel said irritably as he answered Peter's call.

Peter's excited voice came through the phone: "Gwen wants to go shopping with me today. She's also bringing two of her girlfriends, so she asked me to invite you two as well."

Gel sighed deeply: "Why do you bring so many people on your dates?"

Peter knew that Gwen didn't like this kind of situation, so he could only plead, "Good brother, I don't know how to deal with Gwen, can you come and save the day?"

Gel had no choice but to agree.

The six of them made plans to meet on Fifth Avenue, a famous shopping street for the wealthy.

Fortunately, Peter had saved up a lot of money that year by selling exclusive photos of white-robed wizards and Spider-Man, which gave him the confidence to keep the appointment.

The three brothers, Gwen, Peter, and Harry, arrived first, followed a while later by Gwen and her two best friends. Upon seeing the tall and handsome Gwen and Harry, Gwen's two friends' eyes lit up.

The six of them walked together, chatting and laughing, until they reached a clothing store.

"Do I look good in this dress?" Gwen asked Peter with a smile after changing into a princess-themed gown.

Peter's eyes were practically overflowing with love, but he still lowered his head shyly: "It's beautiful."

Gwen's two best friends, watching from the side, covered their mouths and laughed. Gel and Harry exchanged a helpless glance and shrugged in unison.

After trying on several outfits, Gwen finally found one she liked and bought it.

Peter asked with some curiosity, "Gwen, why are you buying a dress?"

Gwen glanced at her best friend beside her, then turned to Peter, blushing, and said, "I talked to my parents about you, and they'd like to invite you to our house for dinner."

Wow.

The four onlookers gasped in unison. They had all thought they were just accompanying a couple who were having an ambiguous relationship on a date, but they never expected the two to develop their relationship so quickly.

At this point, only Peter remained clueless, not understanding what this meant.

Ger quietly leaned close to Peter's ear and explained. Peter's face flushed red, and he became even more flustered: "What should I prepare before I go over?"

Gel and Harry said in unison, "Let's buy you a suit first."

Although it's unclear why Gwen invited Peter to their house for dinner so quickly, the two had only been officially dating for a few days. If Peter made a good impression on his future in-laws this time, it would save them a lot of trouble if they wanted to take their relationship to the next level.
