The six people were strolling around the mall when they suddenly heard what sounded like a commotion coming from somewhere.
Gel listened carefully and then heard a soft gasp from the crowd.
"Is that Tony?"
"It really looks like Iron Man."
"Wow!"
Soon, Harry and his friends also noticed the commotion in the mall. Looking in the direction the crowd was gathered, they saw Tony Stark walking through the mall with his arm around the waist of a woman in a formal suit. Gel guessed that the woman Tony was holding was Pepper Potts. Natasha, dressed in a business suit, followed behind Potts.
Harry and Gwen are both academic high-achievers who greatly admire Tony, an intellectual giant who can create his own Iron Man suit, and they wish they could go up and ask for his autograph.
Although Gwen had somehow managed to get her paper and pen.
"Look, he's coming!" Gwen exclaimed excitedly as Tony drew closer.
Tony walked up to Gwen, stopped, pushed his sunglasses up to his nose, and gave her a long, intense look. He then took the pen and paper from her hand, signed his name, and asked, "Are you already in college?"
Gwen nodded excitedly: "I'm a freshman in the physics department at Columbia University."
Tony chuckled and added, "Columbia University, you know? I know people there..."
Potts, seeing that Tony was about to put on his usual playboy act again, interrupted him helplessly: "Please, Tony! I'm in a hurry to buy things."
Tony calmly placed the signed paper back into Gwen's hand, smiled at Gel and the others, and walked away with his arm around Potts' waist.
At the back of the line, Natasha looked at Ger and the girl standing next to him, her eyes full of teasing smiles.
Gel simply smiled in response.
The group of six continued their stroll, but this time Peter and Gwen had more to talk about and chatted happily along the way.
But not long after, several screams rang out in the mall, followed by several gunshots!
"Quick, hide!"
Gwen, having been "practiced" by her father since childhood, was the first to react. She pulled the others and hid behind the counter. The sales clerks quickly locked the glass door and also hid behind it.
Peter and Gert could easily tell that the robbers were getting closer and closer to their shop.
Peter glanced at Gel, who nodded, then used mind magic to hypnotize Gwen and the other two people beside him, along with the sales clerk, all of them, into a deep sleep.
But under Gwen's deliberate control, the gray magical energy only enveloped her briefly before being withdrawn.
“Peter, you go out first. They don’t seem like ordinary robbers; I suspect they have accomplices elsewhere. I’ll stay here to prevent them from getting into danger,” Ger said to Peter.
Harry nodded in agreement: "Don't worry, Peter. I'll protect them."
As Peter listened, he took off his clothes, revealing the Spider-Man suit underneath.
Gwen was about to speak, but found that she couldn't make a sound. Before she could react, she saw Gel wink at her subtly.
She was feeling confused when she saw Peter transform into Spider-Man.
The Peter she always liked was actually Spider-Man?
Just as she was feeling somewhat disoriented, a portal opened inside the shop.
"What is this?" Harry and Peter were stunned as they looked at this thing that only appeared in books like Science Outlook.
If Peter hadn't been so pressed for time, he probably would have spent ages studying it.
Even Gwen, who was pretending to be asleep, couldn't help but make a noise, but Peter was distracted by the portal and didn't notice.
Gel smiled and said, "This is my newly developed ability—spatial teleportation. As long as I use a spatial portal, I can teleport to wherever I want to go."
Peter didn't want to use the word "envy" anymore. He swallowed hard, passed through the portal, and arrived inside the mall.
On the top floor of the mall, Tony listened to the gunshots outside and smiled as he asked the mall staff, "Do you have any shooting-themed entertainment options here?"
Everyone except him had a serious expression.
The next second, the conference room door opened, and several armed robbers rushed in: "Hands behind your head, crouch down, don't force us to shoot!"
But soon, the robbers were dumbfounded: right before their eyes, Tony put on his dazzling Iron Man suit. Only then did they realize they had actually robbed Tony, and they couldn't help but cry out in despair, "Oh my god!"
Iron Man raised his arm, the cannon on his arm already charged, and his voice, amplified by the suit, echoed throughout the conference room: "Hands behind your head, crouch down, don't force me to shoot!"
The robbers immediately dropped their guns and crouched down, but the voices of their comrades coming through their earpieces made their expressions strange.
"Jarvis, what message came through their earpiece?" Tony asked.
Jarvis's mechanical voice rang in Tony's ears: "Their comrades said they saw Spider-Man."
This was the first time Tony had met Spider-Man in so long, and he immediately became interested: "Let's go and meet Spider-Man."
The robbers, who had split up, heard their companion say they had encountered Spider-Man. They immediately lamented their bad luck, then frantically fired several shots at a nearby shop before hiding inside.
"Don't speak, or I'll shoot you dead." The robbers hid behind the counter and pressed guns against the heads of the two hostages, who were Ger and Harry.
