Chapter 130 Deliberately Provoking Trouble
"My lords, this is Truyet, who is in charge of the auction." The shopkeeper led Truyet slowly to Gale and Gamora and introduced him to them.
Truyet nodded quickly, bowed slightly, and extended his right arm to lead the two men inside: "My lords, please come in."
Gamora walked straight towards the shop entrance without glancing to the side, ignoring the previous shop owner who had introduced them. If the two of them made a purchase, Truyette would definitely give the shop owner a substantial referral fee.
"Wait a moment."
Just then, Ger's gentle yet authoritative voice reached the ears of Truyette and Gamora. Truyette immediately turned to look at Ger: "Honorable guest, what are your orders?"
Gel looked at Truyette and calmly asked, "There are too many people inside. Where did you arrange seats for us?"
Truyet paused for a moment, then smiled and said, "I've prepared empty seats on the top floor for you two guests; the view is better from there."
“I see a separate room on the top floor. I need that one,” Ger said, his eyes gleaming with a faint gray light as he stared intently at Truyette.
When Truyette met Gel's gaze, a wave of fear washed over her. She instinctively looked away, but still hesitated, saying, "That was reserved in advance by the prince of Morin. If you need it now, perhaps..."
Gel turned his gaze to Gamora, who immediately understood and explained to him, "Morlin is a moderately developed planet. Its technology isn't fully advanced, but the entire population is martial and physically very strong..."
At this point, Gamora's eyes held a hint of disdain: "...Moreover, they are subsidiary planets belonging to the Monarch Star System."
Gel nodded, then turned to Truyet, his voice soft but carrying an undeniable authority: "Get him out of here."
After saying that, Ge Er started walking towards the shop entrance.
The shop owner, Truyet, was dumbfounded—he couldn't afford to offend either side, what should he do?
Gamora gave Gel a deep look, but still extended two fingers. The gold card shimmered faintly, shining before Truyette's eyes. At the same time, Gamora strode after him: "If he doesn't leave, I'll make you leave. Also, bring out whatever good stuff you have."
Truyette and the shopkeeper exchanged a furtive glance, Truyette secretly wiping the sweat from her brow before taking off after him. The shopkeeper was even more annoyed: This old man hadn't said a word before, so why was he suddenly so arrogant?
Ger walked forward, and just as he was about to reach the door, the already half-open door suddenly swung open completely, and Ger stepped inside. Before him lay nothing more than a dilapidated little shop, but Ger knew that the real auction hall was underground.
“Dear guest, you can go down via this elevator,” Truyette said to Gel as she immediately pressed the button for the elevator.
The elevator doors opened, and the four people stepped on. Then the elevator descended rapidly. When the elevator came to a complete stop and the doors opened again, a completely different world was revealed.
This is a semi-circular auction hall, with glittering ores and gems adorning the square auction platform at the far end, making it appear exceptionally luxurious.
Rows of seats gradually rose, stretching hundreds of meters upwards, with a separate room at the very top. When Gel and Gamora appeared in this space, the auction house lights dimmed instantly, while the room suspended in mid-air suddenly lit up. Then, Truyet extended his hand deeply towards the long red carpet enclosed by railings and said, "Honorable guests, please take this path."
Gel and Gamora stepped onto the red carpet without looking to either side and walked upwards.
The moment the four stepped onto the red carpet, all eyes turned to them—the people at the auction included not only those from outer space, but also many sellers, merchants, miners, and others who were already active in the Land of No Return. They naturally knew that this red carpet led to a single, private room. And that room was inaccessible to anyone without status, position, and wealth.
"What are those people doing? Why can't we see the faces of two of them?" Even amidst the noise, this was the question asked the most.
In their view, the figures of the two people walking on the red carpet were completely blurred, and they could not even tell their height or weight; they could only see a moving black shadow.
And the only one capable of doing this is undoubtedly a magician.
"Which planet's prince or princess has come? Otherwise, they wouldn't be personally received by Truyette and given the most prestigious room."
"However, when I booked this top-floor room for our boss, I heard that it was reserved by the prince of Morin Star?"
"Perhaps they are."
A dismissive voice cut through the noise, echoing in Groot and Gamora's ears: "Groot, you said those two were acting suspiciously, could they be wanted criminals?"
Upon hearing the voice, Gamora and Groot paused slightly—it was clearly Rocket Raccoon's voice. Looking in the direction the voice came from, they saw Quill, Drax, Rocket, and Groot standing there.
Quill raised an eyebrow at the raccoon, then blinked his right eye slightly, and threw a small ball toward Gale's path. Unnoticed by anyone, the ball rolled silently onto the red carpet.
