Quill smiled slightly, as if he could see the ball explode silently and the panicked expressions on the faces of the two "sneaky" people.
The raccoon beside him also looked at the little ball on the red carpet with a sly, expectant gaze.
But the next moment, the two of them were stunned and their eyes widened slightly—why did the little ball that had rolled on the red carpet suddenly disappear?
"bite."
Suddenly, Quill and Raccoon heard a soft sound at their feet, causing them to immediately look down. Their expressions changed drastically, but before they could even turn away, the small ball at their feet suddenly exploded, and they were instantly electrocuted, beginning to tremble uncontrollably.
A moment later, it crashed to the ground with a thud.
"Pfft."
Gamora couldn't help but laugh when she saw this scene—these two idiots dared to provoke each other without knowing who they were; they should be taught a lesson.
Soon, Gamora and Gamora arrived at the top-floor room.
All the walls in this room are made of privacy material, so they can see clearly from the inside out, but they cannot see in from the outside.
"Do you have a list of today's auction items?" Ger asked Truyet casually, sitting in the middle chair.
Truyet shook his head: "Our auction items are constantly being added, so it's not suitable to make a list. But there will definitely be items that you like, so you can look forward to it."
Gel nodded. "I have a maximum of two and a half hours. Within that time, I must finish this auction. Oh, and get her a large spaceship. Money isn't an issue, but it has to be top-of-the-line. Can you manage that?"
Gel pointed to Gamora beside him, his eyes fixed on Truyet.
Truyet didn't dare meet Ger's eyes and quickly nodded: "Although time is tight, we can finish in two and a half hours. As for large spaceships, they are hard currency, and I will find the best for you in the shortest time."
As she spoke, Truyet handed a high-tech watch to Gel, while giving the shop owner a wink: "This contains all the rules of this auction. If there's nothing else, we'll head down now."
Ger waved his hand: "Go down."
Pushing open the door, the bright lights outside shone on the faces of Truyette and the shop owner, but did nothing to bring a normal expression to their faces.
After walking for a long time to a secret room, the two finally breathed a sigh of relief, their legs weakened, and they sat down on chairs.
"call."
The two breathed a sigh of relief, wiped the sweat from their brows, exchanged a glance, but dared not say anything—Gell had been able to sense the situation in the showroom below even when the four of them were still outside the store. Who knew if their current secret room could prevent Giron from observing them?
They both wanted to live for several more decades.
“Let’s split up. You go get the spaceship, and I’ll handle the auction arrangements,” Truyet said familiarly to the shopkeeper. Judging from their expressions, the two were clearly very familiar with each other.
The shop owner nodded, rested for a moment, and then left the secret room—just being near that person made him feel suffocated. He hadn't felt such tension in years.
In the room on the top floor, Gamora looked at Gale beside her and slowly asked, "What are you trying to do by acting like this all of a sudden?"
Gerd flicked his watch, his tone calm and composed, a far cry from his earlier arrogance: "There's nothing we want. We just don't have enough time, so we'll lure them with benefits to get them to offer something of value. We'll use force to make them stop wasting our time."
Gamora didn't reply, but looked at Quill and the others below with a complicated expression.
A moment later, Ger looked up slightly with a smile on his face: "The show is about to begin."
Gamora was slightly taken aback when she heard Gale's words, but she did not understand what Gale meant.
Inside the secret chamber below, Truyet's face instantly fell as he listened to the voice coming from the communication device: "Boss, Prince Morin has arrived."
Truyet walked out of the secret room with a pained expression and stood in front of the elevator.
"bite."
A crisp sound, like a death knell, made Truyet's heart skip a beat, but his expression instantly turned into a polite welcoming smile.
"Honorable guest, you've arrived." Truyet greeted Prince Morin with an extremely sincere smile.
Prince Morin looked at the surrounding lights, then at the room above that was already lit up. His expression froze slightly, then he continued to laugh, patting Truyet on the shoulder: "Did you renovate your auction house? Why is it different from before? Even the exclusive lighting changes for guests in the top-floor rooms are gone?"
Truyet's expression changed slightly, but she quickly put on a smile again: "It's like this, esteemed guests, there are two new lords who want the top-floor room. Although I told them that it was booked by you, but..."
Truyet had already thought about this situation many times, but still couldn't find a good solution, so she decided to just tell the truth.
As for who gets the room, let the two of them fight it out themselves.
"Um?"
Prince Morin's eyes instantly turned icy as he glared at Truyet. After a moment, Prince Morin sneered, "Fine! Fine! I'd like to see who dares to take my room."
Immediately afterwards, Prince Morin strode onto the red carpet, with two tall bodyguards following closely behind him.
