Chapter 125 Battle of the Spaceship Fleet in the Void

Chapter 126 Battle of the Spaceship Fleet in the Void

"Gamora, what's wrong?"

After chatting with Gel for a while, Quill noticed Gamora's somber expression and immediately turned away to ask her with concern.

Gamora's gaze swept back and forth over Gel's back, growing increasingly alarmed with each passing moment—the white shirt, the similar build—the more she looked, the more she felt that the person before her resembled the white-robed sorcerer who terrified her.

She clearly remembered how the sorcerer had changed the world and resurrected all the dead in the images transmitted back from the small spaceship in the nebula, and how he had destroyed all his companions and spaceships that went to Earth.

Two powerful beings who arrived later simply smashed the spaceship, along with her sister Nebula, into a bloody pulp.

That scene was a nightmare for her the rest of her life.

So, to everyone else, even Quill, Earth is an insignificant planet in the universe, but to her, it is a persistent nightmare.

Even Thanos had to advance his plans to find the Infinity Stones.

"I'm fine, I just almost died in outer space, I'm still a little shaken." Gamora made up a reason, then turned to look at Gel with an extremely serious expression. "More than a year ago, I heard that something big happened on Earth, have you heard about it?"

Gel met Gamora's eyes, his gaze carrying a chilling calmness, like a turbulent undercurrent beneath the surface of the sea: "What big event are you talking about? Many big events happen on Earth every day. I don't know which one you're referring to."

Gamora's expression and tone were so unpredictable that she subconsciously turned her head away: "It's nothing, I probably misheard you."

Then Gamora sat down on the ground and didn't say anything more.

Quill was a little confused, so while chatting with Gamora, he kept an eye on her condition. Finally, he patted Gamora's arm and said, "Hey, bro, I'm going to go comfort the injured guy."

Ger nodded and walked away with a smile.

"Thump! Thump! Thump!"

Just then, loud alarms sounded all around the spaceship. Quill was slightly startled, raised his head, and then walked out of the secret room where the others were and headed towards the spaceship's control room.

"The fleet from Monarch Star?"

In the distance, there was a large spaceship and several smaller ones. Quill saw the insignia on the fleet through the glass and immediately recognized it as the fleet of ships from Monarch. But Monarch was a bunch of crazy, arrogant people—why would they suddenly provoke them?

After all, the alarm only meant that the other side's weapons had locked onto the spaceship.

"What's going on?" Quill asked Yondu. Yondu was also a little confused. He shook his head, looked around, and found that everyone else was also a bit confused.

"Bang! Bang! Bang!"

Just then, the enemy's weapons struck their spaceship. The violent tremors alerted the operators, who immediately began maneuvering the spaceship to evade the attack.

Gel had already arrived at the control room, but he was puzzled as he looked at the fleet of spaceships trailing behind. According to his memory, this part was not in the original story.

The leader of Monarch Star is High Priestess Ayesha, a perfect artificial human created using genetic technology. Therefore, the Sovereign race she leads has abandoned traditional methods of reproduction, instead employing DNA genetic engineering for artificial insemination. Consequently, they are extremely arrogant and believe themselves to be the most superior race in the world, possessing highly advanced technology. Combined, no other planet dares to provoke these "madmen."

"Did you steal their stuff and get caught?" Quill looked around and asked with wide eyes.

Yondu shrugged slightly, then hesitated before speaking with righteous indignation: "Who could know? We rob so many things every day, who knows if we robbed their things too?"

Yondu's spaceship flew around in the void, and behind it, countless cannons fired from all directions.

"Counterattack! Counterattack!"

Yondu shouted, slamming his fist on the chair beside him. At this point, it didn't matter what had attracted them; the most important thing now was to show them the power of the destroyers!

The next moment, dozens of small spaceships flew out from the spaceship they were on and headed towards the Monarch Star fleet.

In the vast void, two fully armed fleets began to clash.

"How dare they challenge the authority of the destroyers! We must destroy their spaceships and show them our power!" A henchman laughed loudly as he watched the small spaceships from Monarch Star crashing down outside.

But soon, everyone around him looked at him as if he were a fool, and the smile on the younger brother's face froze instantly, but he still didn't know what he had said wrong.

After a moment, Quill looked at him, speechless, and said, "You're the only one who doesn't know how freakish Monarchs are. Their ships are all remotely controlled. No matter how you destroy their ships, you can't hurt any of them."

Although all the Destroyers were highly skilled at piloting their ships, and the Monarch Star Fleet's ships were constantly being destroyed like starlight, the Destroyers' smaller ships were also occasionally blasted apart.

And inside, their companions are all!

In the remote control room on Monarch, the machines controlled by the Sovereigns continued to turn red, signifying that their spaceship had been destroyed.
