Chapter 125 Battle of the Spaceship Fleet in the Void

This was unacceptable to the proud Sovereigns.

Damn it!

"Kill them!"

"rush!"

Shouts echoed in the remote control room, while at the highest point, the golden-clad high priest stared grimly at the machine below, which was turning red: "General, why is the progress so slow?"

The general beside him immediately replied, "High Priest, many of our precious energy batteries are on their ships, and those batteries are highly explosive. If these energy batteries were to explode, the force of the explosion would instantly destroy the entire fleet, including even our own..."

Before the general could finish speaking, he was interrupted by the high priest's somber voice: "But their ship has our energy batteries, which are items that our Sovereign race can only trade. They obtained the energy batteries through underhanded means, which is a challenge to the supreme order of the Sovereign race. We must teach them a lesson."

The general nodded immediately: "Understood! I will have the appropriate fleet surround their inevitable route and utterly destroy them!"

As soon as he issued the order, the large fleet that had been waiting in some void immediately headed toward an unknown direction.

Meanwhile, inside Yondu's spaceship, Yondu was shouting at the operators beside him, "Tell me a plan to evade their pursuit immediately!"

"Our ship can use a wormhole to jump to another star system, which might make it easier to shake off the enemy fleet. And the good news is that we are only half an hour away from the nearest wormhole," the operator said to Yondu while tapping the screen.

"Then hurry up!" Yondu roared.

Under the continuous bombardment, their spaceship shook more and more violently, and the number of escorting smaller ships outside dwindled. Although the number of Monarch's ships in their line of sight was also decreasing, Monarch's fleet was too large, and countless smaller ships were still trailing behind them, getting closer and closer!

Gel felt the impact of the spaceship and frowned slightly—what was going on? Why did this pursuit suddenly occur?

Moreover, according to his observations, Yondu's spaceship was not well-equipped and could not withstand an attack for a full half hour.

Just then, Ger felt a scorching light fall on him. Ger turned his head slightly, the chill in his eyes not yet completely dissipated, which startled Gamora who was looking over.

Gel frowned slightly, but when he noticed that Gamora wasn't looking at him anymore, he also looked away and continued to observe the spaceship's movements.

Just a few minutes later, the operator shouted helplessly, "Boss, our spaceship is about to be overwhelmed."

Yondu suddenly glared at him: "How much longer can you hold on?"

The operator took a moment to wipe the cold sweat from his forehead, and while controlling the spaceship, shouted, "We can only hold on for another 5 minutes at most."

Yondu immediately stepped forward, picked up the control panel, and after operating it for a while, shouted at Quill, "Hurry up and get in there!"

Quill's face lit up with smugness as he shoved the operator aside, saying, "Let me do it."

At this moment, no one had any objections, because they all knew that Quill was the best at piloting the spaceship among their group, a skill he had earned through countless battles.

As expected, after Quill took over, the number of air attacks on the ship decreased rapidly, although the number of times the ship flipped up and down increased.

“There’s an asteroid belt over there, let’s go that way.” Yondu looked up from the control panel and to the right, speaking to Quill.

Quill calmly looked to his right, his gaze unwavering as he steered the ship sharply in the asteroid belt. In his mind, he quickly analyzed the situation: he was piloting a large spaceship, and in such a dense asteroid belt, no matter how skilled he was, he couldn't completely avoid all the debris floating in space. Therefore, his only option was to minimize impacts, or deliberately aim for areas with fewer collisions!

"boom!"

The void was filled with countless fragments of rock, varying in size, scattering haphazardly throughout this asteroid belt. At the very edge of this asteroid belt, a large spaceship crashed through some of the debris, maneuvering left and right. Moments later, countless smaller spaceships followed, flying in from all directions.

"Bang! Bang! Bang!"

Quill controlled the weapon to blast away the debris in front of him while maneuvering the ship up, down, left, and right. However, debris continued to hit the ship, causing violent vibrations. These vibrations were even more intense than those caused by the weapons. In fact, alarms had already sounded inside the ship!

Behind their spaceship, many smaller spaceships from Monarch had already crashed into the rubble and exploded directly in the void—at such rapid speeds, the defensive capabilities of small spaceships were simply insufficient to withstand several impacts from the rubble.

The continuous explosions, the vibrations of the spaceship, and the alarms that followed caused cold sweat to break out on the faces of many of the saboteurs. As the saying goes, "He who walks by the river will eventually get his feet wet."

But could today be the day they're going to meet their death?

Although they claim they are not afraid of death and deal with death every day, when death is really coming, they panic, and panic completely.

"Damn Quill, are you even capable?"
