Yondu's expression grew increasingly furious, and he was about to continue attacking Quill when Gamora suddenly spoke up, shouting at Yondu, "Yondu, listen to me carefully. Ronan possesses something called the Infinity Stone."
“I know what the Infinity Stones are!” Yondu, captivated by Gamora’s words, turned and glared at her menacingly.
“Then you should know that we should take back the Infinity Stones. He will use them to destroy Xandar. We should warn them, or countless innocent people will lose their lives,” Gamora earnestly advised.
But everyone, including Yondu, didn't react to Gamora's words. They were destroyers, space pirates; they hadn't chosen this path because they wanted to do good!
"Is this how this little girl brainwashed you? Is your brain crawling with maggots like hers right now?" Yondu slapped Quill hard, exasperated. Then, Yondu slowly turned around. "Since you're like this, I have no choice but to kill you. After all, as the captain, I can't tolerate a traitorous teammate."
"Shhh."
Yondu slowly lifted his shirt, revealing the whistle arrow tucked at his waist. The next moment, a loud whistle rang out, and the whistle arrow flew to Quill's throat and stopped in front of him.
The faint red light flickering on the whistle made Quill's body stiffen instantly, and he tilted his neck back, trying to get further away from the whistle.
Quill tried to calm himself down: "If you kill me, you'll never be able to close the biggest deal of your life."
Yondu, who was about to continue blowing the whistle, immediately stopped and turned to look at Quill. However, Yondu's face only showed a mocking smile: "Infinity Stones, huh? Stop making excuses to prolong your life. No one can take things from Ronan."
Ronan commands a fleet of spaceships, and the mothership he travels on is among the top-ranked motherships in the entire universe!
“But we have a secret weapon.” Quill glanced at Gamora beside him. “She’s Ronan’s subordinate, and she knows all of Ronan’s secrets.”
Gamora paused for a moment, then looked up and affirmed, "Ronan also has weaknesses, and we can get the Xandars to help us. They also have a fleet of spaceships, and perhaps we can obtain more wealth than we can imagine."
Yondu and his henchmen hesitated for a moment, then Yondu lifted his shirt again, whistled, and instantly the whistle arrow returned to his waist.
"Haha, let him go."
Yondu looked at Quill, and the two exchanged a fake smile before giving each other a bear hug. Yondu's henchmen also burst into laughter.
Just then, the spaceship suddenly shuddered, and Yondu, Quill, and everyone around them staggered before looking outside in surprise.
"What the hell!"
Yondu gritted his teeth, cursed, and walked toward the control room. Through the glass of the control room, he could clearly see a tiny spaceship flying opposite his large spaceship.
"Attention, you fools! The madman on top of the spaceship is holding a hadron gun that I personally developed. If you don't hand over my friend, I'll blow your spaceship to smithereens and send you to meet that damned demon god right now!"
The sound coming from the spaceship in the distance made Yondu notice that there was a person wearing a helmet standing on that small spaceship.
"What's going on?" Yondu asked, looking at the small spaceship opposite him with a mixture of disdain and confusion.
The operator rolled his eyes in exasperation: "This attack has virtually no effect on us."
The countdown from Rocket Raccoon could already be heard outside: "5, 4, 3..."
No! No!
Quill and Gamora immediately pushed aside the people around them and pressed the button on the megaphone: "Rocket, it's me, Quill. We've settled things, we're fine. Please don't launch an attack."
After another period of commotion, Rocket, Groot, and Drax the Destroyer all arrived on the large spaceship.
As Gel watched these five clowns from afar, a strange feeling welled up inside him—five more future members of the Avengers had appeared, but all five of them were complete goofballs.
The only one who seems somewhat normal is probably Gamora.
Quill, Gamora, and the other three were having a heated discussion about their "battle plan" in a secret room. Gale was reading a book in a corner while listening to their silly remarks, and he felt that this was a much more interesting time than the previous month.
In the middle of the story, the five members of the Guardians of the Galaxy try to persuade Yondu with their immature ideas. What's even more terrifying is that Yondu is actually convinced and believes their so-called "battle plan".
This made Gale cover his forehead – well, he finally understood where Quill's goofiness and lack of common sense came from; it was probably due to Yondu's influence.
But Ger did his job as a "prisoner" well, just staying there silently and letting them do whatever they wanted.
However, even though he didn't intend to get involved, someone still approached him.
“Hey, I heard you’re a prisoner they captured. Want to join us?” Quill cautiously approached Gere and asked.
Geer put down his book and pretended to be clueless: "But I don't know anything about this. It's my first time going on a long trip, and I'm afraid I'll hold you back."
He didn't want to get involved rashly and cause things to change unexpectedly.
“How could that be? We have idiots like Raccoon and Drax on our team… who aren’t quite smart enough. You’re definitely better than them.” Quill glanced at the book in Gel’s hand and said righteously.
