Chapter 125 The Five Goofballs of the Guardians of the Galaxy
The large spaceship, accompanied by a dozen smaller spaceships, flew in the sky for ten days before Geer finally saw a glimpse of the Land of No Knowledge.
In the distance, Geer saw a skull floating in the vast starry sky, carrying a sense of lonely desolation.
As the spaceship drew closer, the sheer size of the skull became increasingly apparent. Even with Geer's current level of perception, he couldn't gauge its exact size as they approached; he only knew that its volume was even larger than the moon.
This also moved Ger – how powerful would this god be if he were still alive? Therefore, Ger became even more cautious, reminding himself to be careful and not to provoke such a powerful being for no reason.
Through the skull's "eye sockets," the spaceship slowly sailed into the unknown.
"Be careful, there are plenty of dissolute miners around here, robberies are rampant, we can't afford to be caught off guard." Yondu sat in the control seat, stroking the handles, and warned his underlings behind him.
Immediately, the group nodded.
"Sizzle".
Just then, a faint electrical hum came from the internal channel, and everyone looked toward the spaceship's loudspeaker.
“Yondu, Yondu, this is Quill. My current coordinates are 227K324, on the outskirts of the Land of No Knowledge! I know you’re here, and I know you hate me, so come and capture me! I’m at your mercy.” Quill’s voice came through the loudspeaker.
Suddenly, it was filled with noise.
"This kid dares to provoke us."
"If I catch him, I'll torture him to death."
"He's dead!"
"..."
A moment later, Yondu's cold voice drowned out the surrounding noise: "Operator, proceed immediately to the coordinates Quill mentioned!"
"yes!"
The next moment, the spaceship quickly reversed direction and headed towards the outer edge of the Unknown Land, rapidly bypassing obstacles and circling around the outer edge of the Unknown Land.
A few of his underlings still sidled up to Yondu and said to him, "Is Quill playing a trick on us?"
Yondu gripped the armrests of his seat tightly, a wicked smile playing on his lips. "We're already nearby. He's doomed. If Quill dares to lie to me, I'll blow him and his spaceship to smithereens!"
"good!"
Cheers erupted from inside the spaceship—the dignity of the destroyer must not be trampled upon!
The spaceship flew swiftly around the perimeter, circling a considerable distance before finally approaching the area Quill had described. There, flames from explosions and fragments of various spaceships floated everywhere.
Two figures, almost frozen in mid-air, floated slowly there, their bodies covered in a thin layer of ice, which seemed to be getting thicker.
Yondu immediately stood up, but still "calmly" ordered the operator beside him: "Quickly bring them over. Even if Quill dies, he can only die by our hand!"
Rotating beams of light emanated from the bottom of the spaceship, then shone across the void and illuminated the two figures, who were quickly drawn into the spaceship.
"Walk!"
Yondu left the control room with a gloomy face and walked towards the extradition room, followed by a large group of his underlings. Gol also swaggered behind the group.
"Click".
The heavy iron door of the extradition room was opened, and Yondu, along with a group of his henchmen, raised their guns and aimed them at the two very weak people on the ground.
Using his senses, Gel clearly saw the two people's appearances. The man with a thick beard, a burly build, and clothing very similar to the surrounding Destroyers was likely Quill. And the woman, all green and with a voluptuous figure, was likely Thanos's adopted daughter, Gamora.
"Welcome home, Quill."
Although he was saying welcoming words, Yondu's voice was chilling, causing Quill, who was lying on the ground, to shiver.
"Cuff them both," Yondu said to his henchmen behind him. A moment later, Quill and Gamora's hands were cuffed with magical handcuffs.
Yondu stepped forward and searched the two men, but the more he searched, the uglier his expression became. Finally, he picked Quill up, slammed him against the wall, and grabbed Quill by the collar: "Where's the Orb!"
Before Quill could speak, Yondu punched him in the stomach. The intense pain caused Quill to scream and involuntarily double over.
"You dare betray me?"
"Steal my money?"
"Stealing my customers?"
With each word Yondu spoke, he delivered a powerful punch to Quill's stomach, each blow landing squarely and causing Quill immense pain.
"Let him go!" Gamora struggled to rush over, but was held back by Yondu's henchmen and couldn't move at all.
Yondu didn't even glance at Gamora, but instead glared angrily at Quill: "When I found you as a child, these kids wanted to eat you. They've never tasted the flavor of an Earthling before. I saved you!"
Hearing this from the back of the crowd, Ger touched his nose slightly, his expression strange—he found the words rather odd.
Enduring the pain, Quill retorted speechlessly, "Is this ever going to end? Good heavens! Twenty years! And you're still talking about these old, trivial things, as if not eating me is some great achievement. What normal person would think about eating people all the time? We are destroyers, not natives of a savage planet!"
