Chapter 135 Gore vs. Ronan

Chapter 136 Gore vs. Ronan

The mothership of the spaceship that fell from the sky, along with the smaller spaceships that turned into fireballs around it, plummeted from mid-air like meteors that blotted out the sun.

The moment Ger's voice rang out, all the falling small spaceships transformed into dazzling fireworks, exploding in the air. The purple energy emitted from Ronan's weapon abruptly ceased, replaced by an even more powerful dark red energy that shot into the sky, slowly colliding back against it.

The source of the dark red energy was Geer, who suddenly appeared in the air.

Who is it?

Ronan slowly sheathed his weapon, the arrogance on his face gradually fading, replaced by unspeakable anger—he thought that with the Power Stone, even Thanos would be no match for him, but on this small planet Xandar, he actually encountered someone who could defeat him head-on!

"He's finally here."

The commander of Xandar looked at Gel in the sky, a slight smile of relief flashing across her face. She couldn't forget the scene from a few days ago when she saw Gel; he had used some techniques on her, making her realize that there were such powerful mages in the world.

Compared to Ronan's astonishment and the Xandar commander's excitement, Quill, Raccoon, and the others were completely astonished.

“Ger?”

"This is, Ge'er?"

Quill and Raccoon clung tightly to the steel beside them. After carefully examining it, they realized it really was the same Gol they knew, and their faces were filled with disbelief.

Is this the same Gel who only knows how to read books all day, knows nothing when asked, and seems weak and frail? He even served as Yondu's prisoner for a month?

Are they dreaming, or have they lost their minds?

However, when they saw each other's expressions, they had no choice but to slowly accept this reality that they desperately didn't want to believe.

On the ground, countless people looked up, their faces filled with excitement, at the figure in the sky. But the next moment, a spatial portal appeared around everyone and enclosed them—this was one of the deals made between Gol and the commander of Xandar, to move all the people who might be affected by the war to other places.

The spaceship mothership continued its descent into the sky. Gel gazed calmly at the heavens, his arms slightly outstretched, before gracefully descending to the ground. The falling mothership slowed further and further, until it reached the ground at a very sluggish pace.

"Clang."

A slight sinking sound was heard as the surrounding buildings collapsed under the weight of the spaceship mothership, but not much dust was kicked up, and the spaceship landed almost smoothly on the ground.

"You should leave too."

Gore's gaze didn't fall on Quill, Gamora, and the others, but his voice pierced through all obstacles and reached their ears. Then, they all vanished from their spot.

"So, it really is Ger." The raccoon muttered to himself, stunned, as he stood on the ground. He recalled some of the jokes he had made about Ger earlier, and even felt a chill run down his spine—such a terrifying person, if he had gotten angry back then, he probably could have wiped him out on the spot.

Quill was also somewhat taken aback, but when he saw Gamora's expression, he asked hesitantly, "Gamora, you don't seem that surprised."

Then, Quill suddenly realized something and his eyes widened: "The two people in the underground auction hall back then, were you?"

Gamora nodded.

"Alright, let's not think about that now. Quill, I don't believe you were just moved away like that without leaving anything behind?" Rocket Raccoon interrupted Quill's conversation with some dissatisfaction.

Drax and Groot both blinked and looked at Quill.

Quill immediately broke into a smug smile, tapped the device on his wrist, and then pointed it forward. A moment later, a holographic projection appeared in front of them.

The once bustling city is now shrouded in smoke. The light from three stars in the sky shines down from different angles, but some of it still fails to penetrate the smoke.

From the wrecked mothership, Ronan emerged step by step, weapon in hand. He was over two meters tall, clad in heavy armor, and his imposing physique made Ger appear rather small beside him.

But Ronan didn't dare underestimate Ger. He looked at Ger with a serious expression and stood opposite him: "Who exactly are you?"

Gel turned his gaze to Ronan's face, not answering his question, but instead asking, "Why did you come here?"

Ronan's face was filled with anger. He looked around, his eyes filled with hatred for the planet: "I will destroy Xandar, and bring it to its utter destruction in my hands!"

“I’m taking the Power Gem.” Gel looked at the Power Gem, which was shimmering with purple light, as if he were saying something perfectly normal.

"Boy, do you think you can stop my path of destruction?" Ronan's face was full of sarcasm. The next moment, all the energy in his body surged into the Power Gem, and the Power Gem also flashed with a powerful energy fluctuation. The next moment, purple light burst forth, about to gush towards the ground!

"jingle."

But then a clear wind chime rang out, and Ronan was horrified to find that the surrounding spatial energy had transported him to another space full of mirrors, and purple energy bounced back and forth in this space, and finally attacked him again.

Ronan broke out in a cold sweat and unleashed another burst of purple energy to meet it. The moment the two energies touched, they vanished simultaneously into the void.
