Chapter 91 Three Wishes for Odin
This aircraft seemed to better fit the three of them's imagination of aircraft—it was covered with many protrusions whose purpose was unclear, and the entire aircraft was about twenty meters long and ten meters high. Although it looked huge, it was very harmonious.
It's like a fat blue whale made of steel.
Then, a side door slowly opened, and Danger was amazed to find that the side door was originally in a completely sealed position. If the side door hadn't opened by itself, its existence would have been completely unnoticeable from the outside.
This alone is enough to prove the exquisite craftsmanship of this aircraft.
Pietro and Wanda slowly walked through the side door and entered the aircraft, then couldn't help but exclaim, "Wow!"
Ger followed and was also amazed by the devices inside the aircraft.
Compared to the various sophisticated control instruments, the holographic projection technology inside the aircraft is even more stunning. All the surrounding ground, buildings, mountains and other objects are presented by light blue beams of light, while the cannon fire and spaceships that represent threats are represented by small red dots. The close connection between the blue beams of light and the small red dots creates a unique painting.
"If you want to see the scenery outside, we can do so directly." The soldier pressed one of the buttons, and all the steel surrounding them began to flash. A moment later, it disappeared from their sight like glass.
Then, the three of them felt as if they were flying in the sky, able to see all the scenery in all directions.
Although the general shape of the surrounding steel can be vaguely seen, the effect presented is already amazing.
Gel sensed it with his consciousness and realized that it was a kind of holographic projection. He was amazed by this holographic projection that could almost completely present reality.
He was able to learn mechanical knowledge from Tony not only because he needed this kind of knowledge, but also because he truly loved this kind of "manly romance".
These aircraft were so beautiful in his perception that he wished he could dismantle them all and study their principles one by one.
"Buzz".
The aircraft took off quickly, flying in another direction from Asgard, with the surrounding mountains and rivers still appearing before Gol, Wanda, and Pietro without delay.
"What is the highest speed this aircraft can reach?" Ger asked, looking at the various landscapes flashing by.
"Mach?" The soldier looked at Ger with a puzzled expression, his brows furrowing slightly.
Looking at his expression, Ger smiled slightly: "You may use other words to replace it, but in the language of the people of Midgard, Mach one is the speed of sound."
The soldier suddenly realized and smiled: "Our small spaceships are normally flying at around Mach 1,000. In an emergency, we can briefly break through Mach 1,000, but we can't sustain that speed because the materials used in these small spaceships can only support that speed."
"So there are other spaceships that can easily break through Mach 1,000?" Gerl immediately caught the soldier's implied meaning and asked in line with his words.
The soldier nodded and smiled proudly: "It's not a secret, so I can tell you. Yes, we have a mothership that can travel through space, carrying many small combat ships. This is one of the reasons why Asgard remains so fearsome in interstellar space. However, for reasons of secrecy and security, I cannot take you there."
Gel nodded and looked up at the distant sky.
Even if he couldn't see the spaceship mothership, just imagining it was enough to captivate him—the spaceship mothership was probably even more magnificent than he could imagine.
"Buzz".
The aircraft carried Gale and his two companions at high speed over Asgard, but after the initial excitement wore off, Gale, Wanda, and Pietro all felt somewhat bored. After all, if they wanted to fly, they could do it much more easily and freely than in the aircraft.
Suddenly, the soldier seemed to have heard something and froze on the spot. After a moment, the soldier said to Gel, "The King of the Gods has just given an order to take you to see him."
Ger's expression turned serious. Finally, the main event had arrived.
The aircraft carried the soldier and the three men towards the towering building. When they were still some distance from the building, the aircraft slowly descended. The soldier turned to the three men and said, "We've arrived at the Asgardian palace. Our ship cannot fly directly over this area; that's Asgardian policy. So, we'll have to walk the rest of the way ourselves."
After disembarking from the aircraft, the three of them slowly walked towards the main gate of the palace along the main road leading to it.
The main road is covered in a vibrant array of colors, which seem to flow gently, as if it were a road made of flowing diamonds.
There are many buildings on both sides of the main road, and through the wide-open gates, one can easily observe the soldiers practicing combat.
Ger didn't dare to test them with his mind, but he knew that the soldiers' physical abilities were several times stronger than those of Earthlings, just like the two soldiers beside him.
As they slowly entered the hall, Thor was already standing inside, while Odin sat on the golden throne at the front of the hall, looking down at the three of them as they entered.
“I have learned the whole story from Heimdall. Although he was sometimes misled, he has gained a general understanding of what happened from the perspective he already knows. Gol, Wanda, Pietro, thank you for saving Thor’s life, and twice at that.” Odin’s deep voice came from the throne, filled with genuine gratitude.
