Thor walked over to Gol and patted him on the shoulder with a smile: "Thanks, brother, you saved me twice."
Gel smiled, but did not take credit. He looked up at Odin and said, "To be honest, his ability to resurrect twice is due to both Thor's hammer and his own physique. I will not take all the credit for myself."
Odin paused for a moment, then continued, "After all, you saved Thor. As an Asgardian who always repays kindness, you can ask for anything you want, and I will try my best to fulfill your wishes."
Gel smiled slightly, his eyes meeting Odin's gaze: "Before I state my wish, I'd like to ask you something. Do you intend to leave the Space Stone in Asgard, or will you?"
The atmosphere around them froze instantly upon hearing this.
Odin's voice echoed from afar: "I hid the Space Stone in a secret place in Midgard, thinking no one would find it, but I never expected that you would find it and use it."
Odin's words came to an abrupt end. Although he did not say whether the Space Stone would be returned or not, his implication was clear: ownership of the Space Stone had been established.
Gel didn't care, because he hadn't expected Odin to return it anyway; he was just asking out of a sliver of hope.
Moreover, it is also a psychological tactic.
After a moment, Gel smiled and continued, "I have three somewhat offensive wishes that I hope the esteemed King of the Gods will hear. My first wish is that my sister, brother, and I possess unique abilities, capable of absorbing the vast majority of energy in the world and upgrading our own capabilities. Therefore, I hope you can provide us with some abundant anomalous energy, such as the Ancient Winter Coffin. Of course, we will return it once we have completed our energy upgrade."
Odin raised an eyebrow slightly: "If I'm not mistaken, both of you possess chaos magic within you, but how could there be... in a single universe?"
At his level, even so-called chaotic magic didn't particularly concern him. However, the current situation clearly didn't match some of the secrets he already knew.
But upon hearing Odin's words, Wanda's expression changed drastically. She looked at Odin and earnestly shook her head slightly.
However, her movements were too subtle, and Ger, standing in front of her, did not see them.
"Okay, I will provide you with a different kind of energy source, but only one kind at a time. Once you complete the energy upgrade, I will provide you with a second kind. What is your second wish?"
Gel continued, “The Tesseract belongs to the rulers of Midgard. My sister took it out rashly because she wanted to save my life. Although you intend to keep the Space Stone in Asgard for safety reasons, I have to give an explanation to the rulers of Midgard. Midgard keeps the Space Stone in order to study it and develop more high-tech weapons.”
At this point, Odin on the Golden Throne raised an eyebrow slightly, seemingly surprised by Gol's candor, yet also seemingly anticipating what Gol was about to say.
Then, Gel continued, "In terms of high technology, I see that Asgard has many kinds of spaceships, so I hope you can grant me a few different ships so that I can have something to say to the rulers of Midgard. But please have complete confidence that these ships will never be used for such an unjust act as war. To be on the safe side, you can set me as the permanent user of these ships, and the user cannot be changed."
Odin has seen all sorts of people over thousands of years, so Gol doesn't intend to hide his intentions from Odin, after all, Asgard also has Heimdall, who has the All-Seeing Eye.
However, Odin did not immediately agree or reply after Gol finished speaking.
For a moment, the palace fell silent.
After a long silence, Odin finally spoke, breaking the stillness: "Very well, I will grant you several spaceships. When Midgard's technology advances to the point where it can communicate with other powerful races in the universe, the strength of our Nine Realms will also reach a new level. However, I hope that Asgard can maintain a long-lasting friendship with Midgard."
Gel nodded slightly: "As long as I live, I will always advise those in power whom I know to maintain a lasting friendship with Asgard."
Given Asgard's current high-tech development and the physical fitness of its inhabitants, Earth would likely not pose a threat to them even if it were to catch up for hundreds of years.
After all, Asgard is renowned among the powerful races throughout the universe, while Midgard is probably a place few people know exists.
"What is your last wish?" Odin asked in a deep voice.
Gel smiled and replied, “My last wish is more of a request than a wish. Your Majesty, King of the Gods, as you know, my sister and I are both magicians, and the Mother of the Gods is one of the strongest magicians in Asgard. Therefore, we hope to be able to come to Asgard often and learn magic from the Mother of the Gods.”
Upon hearing this, Odin's expression softened slightly, and he smiled: "Frigga is a wonderful goddess, and she will certainly welcome your visit."
Thor chuckled and patted Gel on the shoulder: "I thought you were going to make some kind of request, but it turns out it's this. You don't even need to tell Father about this; just tell me directly. Mother would be the best; she'll definitely welcome you."
Gerti's wish was simply to achieve this effect, so he smiled easily.
There are still many books in Kamar-Taj that he hasn't read yet, and of course he won't give up on reading them. However, Asgardian magic definitely has its unique aspects, so Gale plans to learn from both places at the same time, perhaps by using different perspectives to make his abilities more effective.
