Chapter Five: The White-Robed Wizard and Spider-Man

Then, the onlookers saw a figure wielding spiderwebs and dressed in a red and blue bodysuit nimbly fly down from the sky and kick open the window of the rightmost room on the fifth floor. Moments later, Peter threw three people who were nearly unconscious out of the window, and then Ger used magic to catch them and place them next to the ambulance.

In a room on the fourth floor, a little girl hiding under a table, covering her mouth and nose with a wet towel, cried out in panic as the fire drew closer: "Mommy, save me, save me."

Suddenly, a burning cabinet collapsed with a crash, hurtling towards the little girl.

"not good!"

Sensing this, Ger suddenly raised his hand to block the cabinet, and then used magical energy to pull the little girl out.

Amidst the raging flames and billowing black smoke, a passage suddenly opened up, and a little girl flew out of it.

This scene was nothing short of a miracle.

Those who believe in God are already praying nearby.

"Fifth floor, left side!"

"The middle of the sixth floor!"

"The balcony on the other side of the eighth floor!"

"..."

As more and more people gathered, Ger was not distracted by the people around him. He continued to use magic to sense the people's locations and then told Peter, while also using magic to rescue them himself.

One by one, people were rescued, and the families who had escaped hugged each other tightly.

The little girl looked at Ger in the distance, then looked up at her mother and asked, "Mommy, did God send someone to save us?"

The mother hugged the little girl tightly, as if afraid she would disappear at any moment: "Yes, they must have been sent by God."

A few minutes later, Ger could no longer sense anyone in the building and breathed a sigh of relief. Peter then jumped down from the building and landed gently beside him.

Seeing this, the crowd outside knew that everyone had been rescued, and they immediately applauded Ger and Peter, saying, "Thank you!"

Even the firefighters and police officers who were watching couldn't help but applaud.

Although their faces are not visible, judging from the white-robed wizard's exposed eyes, he must be smiling.

Geer couldn't tell whether he felt moved or happy, but he felt a sense of satisfaction he had never experienced before.

Nodding to the onlookers, Gel waved his hands and flew into the air. Peter also swung into the air, laughing loudly, "These are your good neighbors Spider-Man and the White Wizard. If you have any difficulties in the future, you can come to us."

That night, news about Spider-Man and the white-robed wizard spread like wildfire everywhere.

Someone recorded scenes of Gale using magic to extinguish the fire and Spider-Man using his webs to save people, and then uploaded them online. The number of views on the videos skyrocketed at an alarming rate.

The following morning, newspapers also carried high-resolution images of the white-robed wizard and Spider-Man, accompanied by eye-catching headlines. As expected, every newspaper featuring news about the two sold out instantly. The last time this effect was achieved was two weeks prior when Tony Stark announced he was Iron Man!

Do magicians really exist in this world?

"Look at him, he just raised his hand and split that huge fire in half! So cool!"

"Did you see Spider-Man's landing? He jumped down so high, and it was so easy, so cool!"

"I feel that Spider-Man is very strong. He can easily kick open windows every time. I heard from the people he was rescued that he also easily pushed a collapsed wall aside."

"I like Spider-Man."

"I prefer the white-robed wizard."

"..."

For a time, Spider-Man and the white-robed wizard were the center of attention across America.

Meanwhile, confidential documents were delivered to the desks of relevant government officials.

S.H.I.E.L.D., Director's office.

Nick Fury picked up the office phone and expertly dialed a number.

Natasha, who was serving as Iron Man's personal secretary, looked at the number on her phone, smiled slightly at Tony, then pointed to the phone, went to a more secluded corner, and pressed the answer button.

"Natasha, I have a new mission for you," Director Nick's voice came through the phone.

Natasha's tone was tinged with refusal: "Director, as you know, I'm currently serving as Tony's personal secretary, so it's not convenient for me to take on any more assignments."

The director twirled his pen: "I know, Natasha. But Hill and Hawkeye are with the Tesseract, so it's up to you now. Did you see the video about Spider-Man and the White Wizard?"

Natasha clearly sensed something unusual from Nick Fury's tone, so she hung up the phone and quickly learned the gist of the matter about Spider-Man and the White Wizard by searching for relevant keywords on her phone.

So she called Chief Nick back: "You're guessing they're number 130?"

Number 130 is a file that has been sealed in the S.H.I.E.L.D. archives for a long time.

Eight years ago, a boy named Ger came to the United States from Sokovia with his younger siblings. At the same time, a ruthless tycoon whom the police were investigating suddenly died, leaving his estate to Ger.

This matter was investigated jointly by several parties, and was eventually taken over by S.H.I.E.L.D. The main person in charge of the investigation at the time was Natasha. It was Natasha who, after paying attention to the three siblings, ultimately joined forces with Director Nick Fury to suppress the matter and seal the files.
