The four robbers looked up at the sky in horror, instinctively thinking they were seeing things, but when they saw that their companions all had the same expression, they finally realized that there really was someone flying in the sky, and they were so frightened that they pulled out their pistols.
Gel waved to the four robbers, and chaotic energy immediately appeared on them, firmly controlling them.
The robbers were about to fire their guns when they were horrified to find that their hands, which were about to pull the trigger, were completely immobile. When they tried to speak, they found that they couldn't even move their mouths.
"Handling a gun without permission isn't good for a kid." Peter said, palm down. Several strands of spider silk simultaneously attached to the pistol. With a gentle pull, the pistol was in his hand. After squeezing it a few times, the pistol shattered into pieces and fell to the ground.
The man in the suit sitting on the ground was dumbfounded: What had he just seen? It was one thing for someone to fly, but how could they stop the robber in place? What was that thing shooting out of that person's wrist—spider silk?
God! Is he dreaming?
Just as the man in the suit was questioning his existence, he saw the white-robed wizard wave his hand again, and the rope on his hands automatically untied and was used to tie several robbers.
"Bang!"
Peter snapped his fingers, waking the dazed man in the suit: "Don't space out right now."
Peter took the phone out of the man in the suit's pocket and dialed the police: "It looks like they haven't had a chance to take the phone yet. I've called the police for you. You can talk to the police yourself."
The man in the suit had just turned to look at Peter when he noticed the voice had shifted to the right: "I'm over here."
Then a block-shaped object was shoved into the man's hand. He looked at it and saw that it was his cell phone.
After playing around, Peter turned his wrist upwards and spun a large spider web out of silk. He then kicked the robbers one by one into the web: "One, two, three, four! Remember, be a good person after you get out of prison!"
After kicking, Peter sent a spider web toward the eaves, pulled hard, and flew toward the roof, while turning around and playfully waving at the man in the suit.
The man in the suit remained where he was, responding to the police officer's questions in a daze.
"You were rescued. Who rescued you?"
"A Spider-Man who can shoot webs and a white-robed wizard who can fly."
"..."
Peter, who had done a good deed, was now jumping from one rooftop to another, feeling delighted: "This is our first time doing a hero's duty, and I've discovered I love this feeling!"
Gel flew slowly through the sky, following Peter. Previously, fearing being watched, Gel had never dared to display his magic in public. Today was the first time he had openly used magic since settling in America with Wanda and Pietro.
Although Gert's purpose in following Peter out to fight for justice today wasn't entirely pure, he still felt an indescribable sense of satisfaction when he actually rescued an innocent person from the clutches of villains.
"How fast can your magic make you fly?" Peter asked Gel. Although one could swing on spider silk and move around the city, nothing was as comfortable as flying freely in the sky without any aids!
Gel smiled helplessly: "This can't even be called flying, it's more like floating. The speed is not fast at all."
With his current magical abilities, controlling himself to float in the sky requires half of his mental energy, so he can only fly casually and dares not use it when fighting powerful enemies.
Of course, those few petty robbers were not a formidable enemy.
The two chatted as they walked, looking for more people who needed help, when suddenly Peter stopped.
After carefully observing for a while, he pointed in a direction: "It looks like there's a fire over there!"
The closer you get, the clearer you can hear various sounds coming from the fire site, such as shouts, cries for help, fire truck warnings, and firefighters evacuating.
When they arrived nearby, Peter looked at the residential buildings, which were easily over ten stories high, and couldn't help but rub his forehead in exasperation: "Oh my god!"
How can he possibly save so many people?
"Mom, my mom is upstairs!"
"Tom! Tom!"
"Please save them!"
Downstairs, hundreds of people watched the fire grow larger and larger, and couldn't help but cry out of worry for their loved ones still inside the apartment building.
The fire started on the third floor. The wind fanned the flames, and the fire quickly engulfed the floors above and below, spreading towards the top floor. Thick smoke billowed from the building, creating a terrifying sight at night. Based on their experience, the firefighters began extinguishing the fire with water, but they all knew in their hearts that it would be difficult to save many of the people inside.
"What is that?" Suddenly, a questioning voice rang out, attracting everyone's attention.
Before they could react, they felt their bodies being propelled backward by a powerful force. Then, to their astonishment, a person dressed in white robes descended from the sky and landed on the newly cleared ground.
"Get away from each other!" Ger shouted, ignoring the firefighters who came forward to ask questions. He swung his hands forcefully, and the windows on the fourth floor shattered. Two screaming people flew out of the windows.
"God!"
The people below immediately screamed in alarm, fearing that the two people would be killed instantly. However, as they approached the ground, their falling body suddenly slowed down, and they landed gently next to the ambulance.
With another wave of his hand, Ger sent a beam of water from the fire engine directly onto the two men, extinguishing the flames on their bodies.
The paramedics in the ambulance were stunned, but their innate instinct to save lives made them react quickly and lift the two people into the ambulance.
"Spider-Man, the rightmost room on the fifth floor!" In Gale's senses, the fourth and fifth floors were the most urgent. Moreover, many of the rooms were elaborately decorated, and the people inside were too far from the windows, making it difficult for him to use magic to pull them out.
