Chapter Seventy-Nine: Fighting Loki and the Destroyer Alone

This was the mark of the frost giant, the color of the monster he'd heard about since childhood in Asgard. How could he possibly be such a monster?

He has already paid such a high price and suffered so much injustice; Saul must die!

Loki controlled the Destroyer to walk to the other end, and then poured all his magical power into the ancient winter coffin. Instantly, the overwhelming icy aura became even more frigid, and the astonishing cold gradually froze the space between him and Gale. Strands of eerie white light gradually spread along the space towards Gale.

Ger coldly watched the approaching icy aura, his face growing increasingly grim, but he had no better solution.

Behind him, the power fluctuations within Thor's body gradually became more apparent, indicating that Mjolnir was on its way. As long as they could hold out until Mjolnir arrived, they could join forces with Thor and not even fear Loki, who possessed the ancient Winter Coffin.

After all, while the Ancient Coffin is a divine artifact, Loki's abilities only allow him to utilize a small portion of its power. Moreover, Thor's hammer is also a divine artifact.

"Bang! Bang! Bang!"

Gel was shocked to see the Destroyer emerge from a chilling white aura and head in another direction. A moment later, the Destroyer stood at the other end, and a burst of fire erupted from its face, shooting towards Gel.

"Oh no!" Fandall exclaimed, his face ashen, as he looked at the scene.

The Destroyer may not be as powerful as Loki with his ancient Winter Coffin, but the combined effect of the two would be like the last straw that broke the camel's back, making Gale lose control.

Moreover, that flame was such a terrifying "straw"!

Sif, who was lying on the ground, slowly darkened her face. She had not forgotten the Destroyer's existence, but seeing how quickly the Destroyer had acted, she couldn't help but fall into despair.

Just then, a loud shout made Sif and the Warriors Three of Asgard look up at the same time.

"Loki, you were my defeated opponent last time, and this time will be no different!" Gel looked in Loki's direction, even though Loki's figure was already shrouded in icy aura.

Gel's body jolted violently, and the magical shield around him shattered completely, leaving only the last layer clinging to his body. Then, Gel dispersed all the chaotic energy he could muster into the surrounding space, providing maximum support for the "Close to the Ends of the Earth" magic.

"My God," Sif murmured in amazement from afar.

From her current position, she could clearly see the scene of Gehr confronting the two major energies.

Gel raised his hands forcefully, and a thick gray energy emanated from his palms, heading towards the icy aura surging from Loki and the flames erupting from the Destroyer's face.

Sif could see the veins gradually bulging on Ger's face, a sign that all the magic was about to erupt.

Dangels is currently facing off against Loki, who possesses the ancient Winter Coffin, and the Destroyer!

Sif didn't know who in all of Asgard, besides Odin, possessed this ability. Perhaps, could Thor have done it in the past? Sif wasn't sure.

Meanwhile, Jane, Daisy, and Eric, who were in the distance, were already standing there, stunned—was this Gol really the Gol they knew?

Gel's face was filled with flickering light; the left half of his face was reflected in a cold, pale light, while the right half was a dazzling, fiery red, and the lightning bolts that streaked through the dark clouds above occasionally reflected on Gel's face.

"Hiss!" Gel's hands trembled slightly as he listened to the increasingly frequent thunder in the sky. He couldn't help but shout at Thor behind him, "Thor, if you don't wake up soon, I'm going to take you and run away!"

With Thor as a burden, escaping by flying is impossible; doing so would only hasten death. The only way out is to open a portal to escape.

But in that case, Thor's awakening might be delayed, and Gale would lose the opportunity to capture Loki and take the Ancient Winter Coffin.

However, Ger wasn't one to stubbornly resist; if things went wrong, Ger would have no choice but to run away!

But at that moment, Ger suddenly looked up, a hint of joy flashing in his eyes.

In the distance, Thor's hammer was tearing through the air, stirring up the dark clouds on the horizon, and flying towards Thor's direction.

"Get out of my way!" Loki had also seen the incoming Mjolnir and finally could not contain his anger. He swung the Ancient Coffin, releasing all the icy energy towards the Mjolnir. In an instant, the area in front of the Mjolnir was covered with solid ice!

"boom!"

The hammer of Thor, falling from the sky, pounded the ice, only slightly slowing its speed as it continued flying towards Thor.

Just then, as if sensing the arrival of Mjolnir, Thor quickly raised his right hand and caught the flying hammer!

"boom!"

Just as Thor grasped Mjolnir, the dark clouds in the sky pressed down, and countless lightning bolts engulfed Thor. At the same time, a violent shockwave immediately erupted, blasting away Gale, Loki, and the Destroyer who were all around!

"Pop!"

A soft sound seemed to echo clearly in everyone's ears, and Gel knew that the seal on Thor had been completely broken!

"Clang! Clang! Clang!"

The armor hidden within Thor's body slowly emerged and began to piece together around him, causing Thor to stand up automatically, raising Mjolnir high to receive the baptism of lightning from the sky.

"My God!" Jane, who had been in excruciating pain, could only gape in astonishment at the scene before her. Daisy and Eric, on the other hand, were practically frozen in place, unable to move.

They are witnessing too many mythical scenes today, and their long-held worldview has been overturned.
